Proactive Investors presentation today?
I've got lots of burnt fingers so it's difficult to type ;-) But I've learnt that in AIM there's only one silly price and that's 0p.
This is a silly price now. Remember buying at 40p... This is only down due to market conditions, everything has gone down... IFL now back in profit, no company negatives apart from demand and the rand... History will repeat itself and topping up in the morning... Chris Jordaan will be talking tomorrow in Mayfair and may be going, should be interesting to hear what he has to say. Sage, did you get back in at this price ?
The only people who get in at the bottom (and out at the top for that matter) are the ones who declare after the event. There's plenty of them on these BB's. I'm sure this will prove to be a good entry price.
every time i top up it goes down more!!!
Just added another 100k @ 6.15p. Just think this is good value and a good price. Clearly IFL's recovery has begun. There can't be too much downside from here. GLA.
think this is a long term hold as given current negative market sentiment and china slow down etc it will be awhile before it makes any significant positive move but it should do once the outlook improves. Hang in there i guess!
I see the spread has narrowed from a hefty 10% to 4% yesterday. Looks like the market makers want to attract some business.
Not a spellbinding RNS this morning, but it's enough to make me hazard a buy in additonto all the other factors. I checked a number of aspects from Finances to Directors' purchases to eBola outbreaks and I believe this has potential. DYOR though before taking the plunge.
market jitters unfortunately will always panic a few shareholders into selling. Xmas has come early for some buyers.

Despite the recent decent end of year results, specifically with debt reduction and a return to profit supported with a positive forecast, the 1.5 mill director share purchases and the £73k late buy that has just been announced. Virtually no difference in the sp. STRANGE !

Good to see proper director buying in the market. Often we see the exercise of options which is a no-brainer if at a discount to the prevailing share price but wholesale buying at the market price has to be good news. I'm a long way down on my entry price but moving (at last) in the right direction!
Yes, it was the directors that where buying this morning!.. finally they are signalling confidence with there cash and not just their mouths.. it's all good :-)
Directors all buying too
There is a lot of heavy buying going on this morning.... I think the market is starting to wake up to what we have here. . sp could be about to pop..
Another very positive interview from CEO Chris Jordaan, well worth watching and listening too. When this share starts moving it will fly.
I like it! IFL has seen an opportunity and is picking up the cheap assets of failed steel industry companies. The steel industry is in the doldrums but it will turn... this is how fortunes are made! More info in the links. http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/news/AN_1412162661653128900/international-ferro-buys-australian-coking-assets-with-portnex.aspx http://uk.reuters.com/article/2014/10/01/internationalferrometals-brief-idUKASN0004VL20141001
The the retort coke industry is a surprise diversification. IFL seems confident they can sell the product and have immediate customers for it. There is no no mention of purchase price but its sensible to assume they are getting this asset for rock bottom price direct from the administrators so that cannot be bad. Interesting.
Out
Chris Jordaan, CEO at International Ferro Metals (LON:IFL) tells Proactiveinvestors the company has expanded its markets 'quite significantly'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=md-hvgXtz4k
Liked the comment made by Christiaan Jordaan," that at present production the mine had a 75 life". Hopefully enough time to get a dividend.
Listened to their presentation audio today on the website. Do go ahead and listen. The management have done a great job. They were able to create a profit in adverse market. Share price should be much more closer to 30 pence than 7 pence.
another good profit announcement. so far so good.. we need consistent announcements like this and this will fly However, I'm surprised its still at only 7p.. I expected at least 9p after a such a promising rns. lets see where this closes today.
