Highly likely Monday is the big news day.
Re broker note - cash generating, valuation gap and significant growth forecast ''..and the best case scenario (2P case) currently offers almost 7x uplift.. With activity set to ramp up over the course of the year we see significant upside for the shares in the near to medium term.''
''It's a cash machine -share price disconnect is truly exceptionally attractive in our judgement, the valuation gap has grown inordinately creating, in our view, an exceptional attractive opportunity''

Yep you could be right on the share front.
Over 8 million more shares brought than sold over the last couple of weeks.
If this continues we should suddenly see spikes and many more bluey days
Further to Tony's AECO post@ 9:22

Doing some weird moves this the last few days.... rising on ex divi day and dropping beforehand.....
would love to see this blue at close of play..... may start thinking about throw another 5k at it out of this years isa allowance... 🤔
Majid has played this well, flagging mid April for potentially transformative news timed to follow the dividend.
Good luck with price target GGG!
Volume looks the same in Canada to me 3LBs. Just a little more upward buying pressure over the pond creating a small disconnect. Agree it would help to get some more coverage over there Vernet. Still holding out for sub 11.5p. GLA
Getting a Canadian institution declare a holding would be a big plus.
Plenty of buying in Canada over last few days. Is word finally getting around? Somethings up.
The market is rightly looking 6 months ahead
I think we might see a share price bounce tomorrow. I was hoping to pick up a few more around 11.50 but I’m not counting my chickens now. I also think mm’s could be short of shares.
The share price is holding up remarkably well considering its ex dividend and AECO is in the toilet. Below are the average AECO prices in CAD / GJ. The good news is AECO typically bottoms in May and rises from there though the end of the year. Storage volumes are way up but we also have commissioning of Kitimat in the coming months which will draw gas and LNG shipment before the end of the year.
IMO the SP should rally pretty strongly in the coming months.
9th April CAD 1.33 / GJ
April CAD 1.54 / GJ
Mar CAD 1.69 / GJ
YTD CAD 2.29 / GJ
2023 CAD 2.50 / GJ
Good luck on the 10 &11p
Yep thought those buys were yours over the last two days.
All buys overseas
Canada 12.24 to sell 12.54 to Buy
Looks like momentum is picking up in Canada as well as here..
All we need is an acquisition.
Focus on Clearwater second half
Quarter results due
Enjoy the dividend
The quarterly divi represents a cash outflow of just over 2% of today's market cap so in theory the drop tomorrow should equate to roughly 2% as well. If it drops substantially more than that I'll be buying and wait for the market to catch up.
Hearing you 3LBs, just being greedy. Not sure we'll get a few pennies on the news due this month. Having said that if they update the market with an asset sale or acquisition then yes a few pennies is definitely a possibility.
My average is 10p thanks to the couple of million I got in the 8's and 9's. Trying to keep it near that level for the next batch. Fine to buy in the 11's. Will hold off in the 12's. GLA
You're welcome KAF. I think it will gradually head into the 40's over the coming weeks with the usual pullbacks for people taking their 10%. Lots of news due in the next few months though. Hopefully a few of the excitable types at PANR and 88e bring some of their cash across and we see a decent leg-up. Still a very long way to run.
GGG. Thanks for the tip in DELT already in profit.😃
GGG
Excellent news. Remember we’re expecting capital expenditure and other ‘corporate’ news mid month which could blast us up a good few pence. I therefore wouldn’t over wait to buy more in case an RNS lands
250k was me earlier :) Up to 4.5m after a couple of 125k trades yesterday in the 11.7's. Going to leave it now until the inevitable ex-divi drop. Hopefully I can pick some more up in the very low 11's or even 10's.
Anyone take my tip on DELT btw? You'd be up close to 15% from a few days ago. Reckon it might pull back to 36-38p due to some flippers. But once news lands in the coming weeks it's going to be heading to the 50's in very short order. Def. has multiples attached to it depending on what they find and prove up / appraise with Shell in H2. Reckon sp has 2-5x in it. GLA
Stating the obvious there score........ dropping on ex divi is a 95% yes.... but not usually the few days beforehand as some folk are loading up 👍
Most shares drop ON EX DIVI
Seeing this drop yesterday when ex divi is tomorrow wasnt quite what i was expecting 😬 if PoO creeps up i would like to see this mid 12's at least today please 🤞
How much will it costs to unlock these barrels and how many wells and at what breakeven and when do plan to do it? The market will not asceibe value until some form of action, otherwise no point in talking about it. Proof is in the pudding, we need to drill above and beyond what we have, whilst keeping a check on costs. Majid is too conservtive in his apporach perhaps.
From Majid last year I’ve mentioned a few times the growth potential in the asset in some key areas, which are the Simonette and the Clearwater. We’ve also got lots of potential growth in the Wapiti and Central Alberta but Simonette and Clearwater are massively under booked in terms of our reserves bookings. The Simonette itself, if it was fully developed north and south, Simonette could deliver 30,000 barrels a day, which is obviously a multiple of what we’re producing at the moment and the Clearwater which is universally regarded as the best onshore acreage in Canada and the U.S. We’ve been growing that position largely through land sale options. We also did a very significant farm-in in the Clearwater. We now have almost 109 sections in the Clearwater, so a significant position. All of this is also largely operators so we are in control of our own destiny in how we develop it.
These areas have got potential for significant growth
