Interesting comments in latest edition of sharesoc on horizon.
Bought another 3000 to nearly double my holding.
Sp looks good so back in at 140.
Bought back in at 140 nothing’s changed so sp looks good.
Bought back in at 140 nothing’s changed so sp looks good.
It’s the same with circassia I have bought at 19 after big sells by Woodford and suspect Stanley Morgan are buying. Good sp i reckon.
I’m waiting for 150 or less and buy back in .
Told ya, imo peeps joining the dots up and dumping these now! Trek. Sell.
Just for transparency I’ve sold out of these now. Given the news of WPCT I can see an opportunity to get back in lower. Woody may have had opportunities to do otc deals in the past I don’t know but I do know he’s sold on the open market before so will probably do the same. It will be sod’s law abc buys stock now but that’s investing. Gla Trek
good consolidation occurring, trendline holding up well. i have been trading this for almost a year now. how time flies. bought in at 167p, sold close to 200p then few weeks back, bought in at 146p, sold half at 188p, now doubled up at 165p and 170.8p. this is so much fun! next stop: above 200p.
20 odd mil trade (fund I suspect) in Circassia , so am splitting my next buys between hzd and cir . Noticed that AstraZeneca hold 19% of Circassia, also swayed by news of approval of Circassia new drug in USA.
Somebody will buy horizon within the next year I reckon and it may well be Abcam I Hope!
£1.97 five years ago, £1.71 today. Not sure what to expect over the coming months, but the opportunity cost of holding onto these shares is painful.
My plan, or to be honest my guess paid off got div and sold at profit. I wasn’t expecting Glaxo to move up so quick.
Hopefully horizon drops the buy in.
Yep, I factored that in after the div the price usually drops but I will wait until it moves up.
Understand your tactic but GSK may open net of divi so when you sell you have to wait to get your cash back. Indeed I often add after a divi on my core stocks as often they trade at a discount to the divi. I then let it ride accumulating from both the divi as a scrip and a discounted top up. Trek on Mrs Treks pension.
Just bought Glaxo for divi next week then hopefully sell and back in horizon. That’s the plan anyway, assuming horizon drops back a tad.
Thanks, just a bit of profit taking imo after this week’s rise. Sp has kept recovering eod though and then after a few days we get to see v large buys £1m or more. Someone is happy to have these as they’re flushed out. I’m holding as I think 220 is back on in a few weeks and I can’t think of anywhere else to park money for a short term rise. Will move it later if no news probably to ECO. Trek. Timing is everything.
I appreciate you keep plugging away on this board Trek. Bit of a drop today, but fairly normal on a Friday. Let's see what the next few weeks brings.
Well that’s another cluster buy 950k shares. Explains why the sp kept rising on results even though there were significantly more sells than buys. Check my earlier post. I have been following the trades here for a while now and whilst buy sell is indicative this is the first TR1 free volume of cluster buys I have noted. Trek. Game on! Usual caveats apply but I think I’m talking to myself!
How little interest there is in this company. Almost definitely will be subject to another ABC bid soon. Seems a no brainer to me.
Looks like the numbers are starting to sink in together with the outlook. Trek, ahead of the curve.
I think it will climb above £2 again but like I said the news needs to be absorbed. There seems to be a buyer in the background grabbing all the small sells which is why the SP isn’t moving.
Reading the outlook it looks very positive for HZD. They are dominant in a market with a high barrier to entry and have already signed 2 x £1 million contracts. They got very good supplier customer relations and are delivering a niche need. This is a classic ‘ economic moat stock’ and if you want access to their products and customers you have to buy it. Starting from scratch against a disruptive biotech like this is too expensive and too risky as there is no guarantee you will peel customers away. Abcam have money and have declared their accretive intentions. Time will be against them soon as others will see what we see. Following the results, director buys and cash position this is probably one of the safest risk reward plays to park your money on AIM. Warren Trek, lol!
Made a decision and sold. As I’m not sure which way this will go in the short term. To be safe in my view I’m buying Abcam and hopefully make a bit and back into horizon depending on sp.
Well they have turned ebitda around to a positive £700k thanks to a massive increase in revenue. The Dharmacon acquisition has proven to be a fantastic move and will help HZD focus on their higher margin product mix. The outlook is sound and they have lots of cash. I think HZD should look for another acquisition this year less they be swallowed themselves. These numbers will imo really excite abc but they’ll have to pay for it. As for the open, probably a muted response as the market digests and then we’ll climb over £2 as our buyer continues to add. Trek but wtfdik
Yep £275k in two tranches, nice. Imagine if you were trading that, a 15% spike and that’s it for the year! Then you spend a year finding another one with ‘favourable odds’ but I suspect it’s VA or ABC broker buying. Well soon find out. Results first. Trek with no Boomtown Rats!
