Holding up remarkably well considering the ongoing Apocalypse.
The Dutch have their first victim of the virus - from a village called Loon.
He had returned from a visit to Lombardy and is doing well.
If that merits media coverage, I cannot imagine what reporting of the Black Death must have been like.
LW, the world has gone mad... I was speaking to some people that are saying that this is a cover up for switching on 5G and apparently 5G will make a lot of people sick so they need a cover to tell people that you have become sick from the CV when in fact it is actually 5G. No one knows what the truth is anymore... 60Ghz frequency apparently effects the human, animal and anything living. Definitely can not trust the media either, I don't know anyone anymore who trusts the media.
DK, are you winding up the gullible?
Pedrob99, I am telling you what someone else was telling me and that the world is gone mad, did i say I believed it. If I tell you a story about a flying starship and captain picard and the borg, does that mean I believe it ? Read before you have a go at someone.
I don't know about 5G, D_N, but what worries me most about the media is that they seem to determine what people are most concerned about.
If they decide to focus on a particular event somewhere, then hundreds of millions of people have strong feelings about it, but not about other matters in other parts of the world that don't interest the media!
The other thing is that the media milks every story that can be sensationalised - e.g. setting the 9/11 collision to music and extending news programmes by several hours, and trying to get people to cry when Princess Diana died (I myself nearly cried).
LW U could not agree more with you. What do you think is going on with HUR ? Blue on the worst week since 2008 ? and prior to the that one of the best months on the stocks, Hur dives, why is everything upside down, up is down and down is up. I just wonder if there will be a acquisition of Hur... lots of buying at this level. I am just wondering if there is a massive dead cat bounce say Monday next week in Global stocks then will hur move up rapidly or will it do the opposite lol
Volumes are high at 11.5m just three hours into the trading session. the prognosis that someone is hoovering up shares I think is accurate.
Anyone with access to L2 have any view on the buy / sell ratio?
Could be worse. We do (finally) seem to have found a bottom.
People will disagree but with so much hanging over HUR, largely unsubstantiated due to what many including me consider to be appalling communications from the company, the current SP is understandable if not (hopefully) justified. I include in that the exit of AS with immediate effect just before results and an important presentation, and an offload that may (or may not) be of a significantly different magnitude than expected despite communications being promised in the event of material variations.
The CMD presentation should provide much needed clarification on many if not all of issues that concern us. Sadly that is a month away, so we are likely to wallow around until then in the absence of other significant news. In the meantime I am seriously stopping watching this share closely as it is taking over my life and I think the lives of others on this board. Whatever will be will be as the great philosopher Doris Day once said.
Doris Day - Biggest nympho of her time in Hollywood, I believe!
As a very young man, I fancied her, as my friends did too!
I know Daltry. Was about to say I still would, but I just noticed she shuffled on last year so that would be considered inappropriate
Wicked sense of humour.
johnpwh,
" that would be considered inappropriate"
Maybe not by Johnny Depp, if the newspaper coverage of his legal action is correct.
I know, just read that. Now he is barking. Maybe he should invest here.
What about Grace Kelly?
"What about Grace Kelly?"
Much better than the DD option.
Now she used to go to Switzerland for some sexual acupuncture to bring on multiple you-know-what’s!
That period was heaven for the Weinsteins of the casting couch! It was an entry requirement, and accepted in a male dominant society.
I could go on....
I always held a candle for Elizabeth Montgomery who played Samantha in Bewitched... and obviously Cheryl Baker from Bucks Fizz. (yep, I know.)
Johnniefp - Let’s not lower the tone now....Cheryl from Bucks Fizz. ???... FFS !
" that would be considered inappropriate"
Lateral thinking at work, but I've just had another (completely unbidden) thought which may also be considered inappropriate. I hope this BB's moderators won't pounce on me for airing it.
But it's suddenly occurred to me that the staff of 'The Stag on the River' at Lower Eashing are going to miss Alistair Stobie's presence there. Seemingly they held him in high regard.
Dunno. Nowt wrong with Cheryl. Perky.
Sad thing is that, without exception, all these objects of desire are of pensionable age or actually expired.
I raise you Jenny Agutter. At least she's still got a pulse
Stobie? Who’s Stobie? We are talking quality here - GRACE KELLY...FFS.
Keep on topic!
daltry,
Ah. But have you ever thrown Grace Kelly in a swimming pool?
“Still got a pulse””. HaHa!
"I raise you Jenny Agutter. At least she's still got a pulse"
Chuckle of the day for me atm
