yuyus... that's what I pointed out, they only way they are going to get testing kits is buy them privately, which are selling at around £300....400 a pop. Ask yourself; did all those onboard the cruise ships off SanF or Japan get tested; no. The focus is on NHS staff, they are the ones risking their lives on a daily basis, offshore, goings on are not up there, asset or not.
Bartle I agree but whom said that the nhs should pay for the relevant testing kits etc ?
I appreciate that oil is in a malaise exacerbated but the current C19 but the importance of keeping the pumps going and being self sufficient is paramount .
That’s the same for other uk assets ,
All testing kits are going to NHS staff on the front line, NHS staff that support them, ambulance drivers and so on....plus those showing signs of CV19 who are very ill.... The only way they are going to get testing kits offshore is to buy them privately. The focus of testing of the UK government is on NHS staff and those who are poorly. Not employees/contractors of a small oil company pumping oil from x2 wells. Keep things in-perspective please, they're not that much different from those on building sites or cruise ships.
Crux of post being , you have a trapped audience ergo segregation and monitor accordingly .
Daltry, lol having been involved in offshore emergency response I can tell you there are better brains than my old one working the issues atm ;-)
Fandg - Why don't you send that to Dr. T in an email.? Sounds good advice.
"If they had any sense they’d get testing kits for all onboard , keep all and sundry offshore for next two weeks , carry on regardless"
I'm not sure what the test entails but you normally have a couple of hours to kill at Aberdeen heliport which would make a better place to test (rather than offshore). If you could do it, say in one of the hotels nearby, before they even got to the heliport would be even better
If they had any sense they’d get testing kits for all onboard , keep all and sundry offshore for next two weeks , carry on regardless
Firstly I advocating a STRONG BUY , if you bought today at the -18% price confident by Tuesday you will have made a profit .
Hurricane with Bluewater have informed the market ,, rather than gossip spreading which it would they decided to be open about it !
The markets reaction is beyond belief , it’s actually akin to the zombie on the aeroplane scene from WORLD WAR Z !
Think it was Arthur Wellesley that said , google Harriet Wilson and John Joseph Stockdale !
Please someone fill in the blanks !
Damned if they did , damned if they didn’t , I bought lots today !
Please someone google John Joseph Stockdale and Harriette Wilson
canetois,
" Santander down 20 points"
Not surprising. The casino there (quite a lively house) is closed, as well.

Italy has finally made a new high.
Looks as though Spain and UK have too.
By the time this is over, China could be well down the league table.
There have been 300 cases and ten deaths in Hungary, so I don't know why the Hungarians are figuring so prominently.
...............................333 points, all that because of one poorly HUR worker? what, you don't believe me !!, okay neither do I, so. what's all the fuss about. LONGWAIT Thanks for the sarcasm … my first smile of the day.
Thanks for the Telegraph link, Bluebird.

we'll just have to make do with offloading oil, 10 months steady production coming up, making a profit, buy in points for next rally up, giant squids.....etc.etc
OK, accept that. Fine, thanks. A term we used a lot in my younger days.
if it is dropped 18% on oil price drop so monday it will rise 15-20%,oil prices will be hitting the support and rising soon.imo.
dryland you hit the nail on the head.
I am posting links to negative news bcos that's what's out there. If you were to go back far enuff you would see much positivity from me. Times change.
I post on HUR mainly cos I've been here a long time, have been to AGMs, met directors, and followed the journey.
I do occasionally post elsewhere, but this is the share I am best informed on.
daltry,
" Casevac is a military term. "
It's also used in the offshore oil industry if the person being evacuated has been the victim of some sort of accident. To differentiate between that, and the evacuation of someone 'unwell'. The use of the two terms can dictate the level of urgency. In the case of someone unwell, it can usually be assumed that the patient can be kept onboard until daylight, for instance, whereas if someone's fallen down a ladder and is suffering internal bleeding and has multiple fractures, a night flight can be justified.
Genghis - Excellent link.... thank you.
had a peak...just HUR no other oilies...i wonder why that is?
you only post negatively genghis.....however i have no issue with it as these are the most difficult of times particularly for oilies. I look forward to the day when you have something positive to post but i'm not holding my breath. Out of interest are you posting on other boards or just HUR...actually i will take a peak :-)
"At first, when I first saw this on another website, I thought it must be a hoax"
Did you run it past ADUK.... he's really good at spotting them.
