LMAO this thread!
Seems to be trading a lower end and then whoosh up it goes and back down again. Adding here although results due. Good luck.
Making a move
Nice 130p again please.
Bottom looks fairly in now as we move towards £1 again.
Potential is there. I listened to the conference call and despite some agressive questioning Helios took all in his stride and answered well.
Growth is intact and the debt will be coming down with no need to refinance until late 2025 unless the offers are favourable.
The question about cash was deftly answered well and the cash is to increase through the remainder of the year.
See no reason that this cannot retrace upwards towards the 110p level in the near term and beyond towards the 140s.
Thanks for organising the webcast Daisy!
Cheap Cheap long term hold here good luck
always an opportunity here
some drop earlier. news or opportunity?
In the UK rates have already dropped on bonds now 4% v 4.75% a month ago on a 5 yr with Nationwide.
Lower rates will see this at 1.40p soon.
Not sure, they seem to not like interest rates rises though and usually fall when rates go up and recover in the weeks afterwards.
A lot of debt and acquisitions which will lead to a lot on income if the debt can be serviced.
Picked up a few here as it can rally to 120p and 140p on little or no news.
Hey does anyone know if Helios contracts in US dollars are linked to CPI?
Given cash balance of c550m , negligible annual cash inflow after finance costs and regular capital investment, how are HTWS expecting to fund the c550m acquisition of Oman sites ? More debt on an already huge debt balance or an equity placing at a much reduced SP further reducing the SP. I think this is becoming a real risk and a strategy of consolidation and organic growth appears more sensible . Walk before you can run HTWS.
Much higher much soon accreditive to earnings. DYOR
So on Friday this was trading sub 120 and then at the close it made 138p on no news having trades at 125p just before final auction,
What is going on? I do not know or care but my sub 118p purchases look rosy atm.

Does this company make a profit or not? Operating profit yes but what is the profit figure, net of financing and tax that is attributable to shareholders? They keenly held their hat out via Primary Bid and now its " Alternative Performance Measures are described in our defined terms and conventions".
Jefferies cuts Helios towers price target to 207 (223) pence - 'buy'
Seems a bargain?
Anyone been allocated their shares yet in their account ?
I was allocated ~60% of my bid , indicative of strong demand, a very good stable, exceptionally boring, long term hold in a growth area. Just my cup of tea!
Results next month but already in line with 5 year expansion plan. No chat on here as the market is not one that a lot of people who are familiar with. But the countries that it operates in are like anywhere else - mobile phones are more important than a lot of lifes essentials, therefore the market for expanding networks is sold.
