So now I shall own a bit of a high speed rail line.. Shame I cannot afford a ticket!!
I got all mine under the entitlement, but also applied for £1500 worth but only got 277 in total as oversubscribed
Thanks for info Softcell. I have now received some of mine.
Yes I have mine, all showed on account on Friday morning Mick
Has anyone received their allocation yet?
from Prospectus: results 22.03 dealings 24.03 know allocation 24.03
A guess: Is it because the market is discounting future rises in interest rates which mean increased borrowing costs for HICL and others in the same sector?
Maybe after such a long and steady rise this year some profit taking spooked the holders when the share issue came out. I trust that was the bottom because last Wednesday I bought back at 163.6 the tranche that I sold at 180.
I have this and GCP and keep buying both. Why are infrastructure shares being hit? I read all the RNS's and apart from issuing more shares everything appears quite positive
It's still falling hard with all the infrastructure shares.
Well chartist view did not work out there but that was because it was trumped by news. The share issuance in September to raise £76m seemed to go down like a lead balloon and punctured our steady rise this year. That money was for investing in new projects so I don't see why it had so negative an effect. Highlights of yesterday's results show we are on track and have delivered: · Total shareholder return for the period of 10.4% (annualised), based on interim dividends declared plus uplift in NAV per share in the six month period. · Aggregate quarterly dividends declared for the first half were 3.82p per share (2015: 3.72p); on track to achieve the Company's aggregate dividend target of 7.65p per share for the full year1. · Value of the Company's investment portfolio up 7.9% in the six months, based on the 30 September 2016 Directors' valuation of £2,189.9m (31 March 2016: £2,030.3m). I must admit I sold half when it started to drop but am now looking to get back in again and hold for another year or two.
After reaching a 52 week high of 185p on 5th August, it has retraced to 178p, which is its 76.4% FIB level. So my view is it will move up in the next few week to the new high and might even move to 196p in extension.
Stairway to heaven :-)) Routine AGM yesterday and up a further 1% today. Happy days.
Yes, after all the Brexit crashing of the last few days it seems some sensible types have realised this is a solid place to be. Approx 14% up in the calendar year 2016 and good divi to boot.
2% up in half a day. That's volatile for this share; cannot remember seeing that recently. Five times as many buys as sells maybe telling us something?
Mine too. I remember looking at these when they were about a pound! would have doubled my money including divs. Still one of my best investments though along with 3in and IMB. Shame I bought some miners and oil stocks though
We have risen approx 8% in the last 3 months and are now riding high. Enjoying one of my few successes in the last year.
25 Feb saw another dividend under the belt. SP dropped 2.2p, slightly more than the 1.86p divi. I read the update as a little downbeat but this firm does not blow its own trumpet that much. Nothing wrong with the following: "The portfolio continues to perform well from an operational standpoint. Cash generation from the projects remains broadly in line with full year expectations and the Board re-affirms the target dividend per share of 7.45p for the current financial year and 7.60p for the financial year ending 2017."
Agreed. Las t push up broke 155p, so that's bullish to me. More to come.
Rock solid here. Still about the same price as this time last year and good dividend to boot. Not many can say the same.
Ex-div today. 1.86p per share (again) to be paid on 31 December - luvverly jubbly. This solid outfit giving 5%-ish per year seems to attract little attention; just gets on with the job. SP dropped by almost exactly the dividend from 153.9 to 152p, which of course it should do theoretically. Anything above a 152.04 close tonight will do nicely.
Dividend is 1.86 pence; sp seems to have settled at about 151.6 which is 1.2p down. Reasonable result; in effect a rise.

Please could we have some of our posts back? I realise there was only about 1 per month, but I am sure the authors thought they were pearls of wisdom. :D
