What do you mean by a 3-month window?

Picking up a few to snooker rack in. Gl all.
How can Berenberg lower the target price when there are no figures for the FY, but just a statement.
Alessandro, yes, I have often wondered what the point of 'house stock' is, so seeing your message I thought it was time to 'google'. One description I have found is : 'A house stock is a stock that the management of a brokerage firm or boiler room has instructed all its brokers to promote. The brokerage firm or its owners might be receiving an undisclosed profit from the sale of the house stock'. If anyone has anything else to add it would be of interest.
Shore Capital recommendation "house stock". what sort of recommendation is that? what does it mean?
So management can change the public's demand for seafood products? You sound worse than the owners of Chelsea FC.
I would not sack the board, some at least are good with numbers. Just look at the share disposals in April. They know what they are doing. lol
Revenue is up with strong volume, Revenue has not increased because of price increase "despite volume decline".
It is a strong positive to have retained or even increased volumes. Leverage is manageable, despite interest rates hikes. when the inflationary pressure will ease HFG will see better times. I would not suggest sacking the management.
not a good read, long term future very solid, but right here right now they are facing a bit of pressure, maybe they need to get new management in?
Market manipulators still playing their games i see!
definetly a good price here, it has not been this low for a very long time, and this is not a mickey mouse company, the sp will recover
The price here looks like a good long term entry point. Hoping to feast on the dividends and capital appreciation over the the months and years ahead.
For this to keep falling as it is, I am expecting a major holdings RNS.
Someone is reducing.
Not so fast. You don't rush into selling your business just because the stock price has dived.
It will bounce back, give it time.
6/7 years worth of Mcap wiped off in the blink of an eye.
Takeover target now.
I always seen as HFG as a stable and conservative player. I am surprised by the drop. I would have thought 30% in one day was already too harsh. I don't see what is the major concerns of investors. HFG should be able to service its liabilities and inflation or raws is already being said it is easing
Perhaps the clients of the teenage scribblers want to sell out, so are trying to sell to the mugs.
Number of analysts buy ratings have increased on MarketWatch.
seem to be falling. HFG may be a great recovery stock in just one year.
Mcap £575 mil
Cheap as chips......
The market cap is now about £600-700millions.
Even a company worth billions of pounds can be taken over.
the company is too big to be taken over by anyone in my view, and the business model is robust enough to withstand these testing times, most food companies are doing multiple inflationary cost meetings with the retailers, so whilst they absorb it to begin with, they are working on adjustments to get it back and also working on cost out options to mitigate inflation too, if anything I wouldn't be surprised to see HFG take advantage of climate and do more acquisitions of other companies. That's all my view.
What are your thought about cultured meat, I have the feeling that there isn't much market for it. Not among vegans, nor meat eaters either.
On the back of the recent trading update:, could inflation and higher interest rates constitute an existential risk for Hilton Food? I wouldn't like to see the company being taken over under-priced at some point in future.
added few today in my portfolio :)
I think this is short term headwind.
Inflation will eventually ease
