Dear Latte
Alf G, likes a cup of PG in the morning,
hope you’re enjoying yours too.
Tea leaves predicting discovery on
Oct 12th, umm, are they pass their
sell-buy-date, as mine, predict September.
Discovery in either time, would do me fine:)
Take care
ITV - just reading mine, l’ll let you know predictions in time:)
@wyndrum
Well said
I’ve always enjoyed your conversations,
so balanced, with no judgement given:)
Take care
ITV - IMHO, so many other posters here would also agree:)
BRB, just as a conversation,
I assume (and correct me if I am wrong), but you take an interest in the SP and use it as an aid to look at the current market value of the company and then to look forward and make assumptions of what might happen to the company to see if you think the SP will rise?
If enough people using that macro company/fundamental approach come to the same conclusion, then the majority will buy and the SP will rise:
If, on the other hand, the fundamentals change and you decide to sell and again the majority agree with your analysis, the SP will fall.
I (using charts) get to see the same movement and can make an informed guess as to what is likely next, not based on the fundamentals, but simply what the majority keep doing. (Crowds being very predictable with a lot of science backing that up by the way).
Now, you can say that that "informed guess" is just voodoo, but if you remove the rhetoric, then your assumptions of what in this example is HE1, is based on your guess of what will happen in the future.
In other words you are saying your guess is better than my guess. We are both trying to predict the future but using different methods that are in fact very closely interlinked and entwined.
(I get a lot of the jargon in charting is laughable but then the same could be said on FA analysis too if someone is not familiar with it.)
Anyway, I am just shooting the breeze here, and as I said, its just a conversation.
Forget seeing a Jesus face on a slice of toast. Just had my usual breakfast cup of tea, just like Alf G, and there is good news, my tea leaves predict that there will be a discovery on Oct 12th.
Onwards and upwards
Guess what. Charts and so called technical analysis is all voodoo trying to stamp the veneer of science where it does not belong. It's about as useful as seeing a jesus face in a slice of toast.
Lol Dai
Alf G….now that’s what l call venting:)
Still lovely to see the young un’s at play:)
@Latte
Thanks for the post, l’m very happy too:)
Extract from Politico article, kindly provided by @Latorre1690
“If the U.S. were not able to do this, that would have real ripple effects,”
Keohane said. “I am not sure we could have gotten back on track.
By the U.S. staying in the game, it gives real juice to the Paris Agreement
model of setting targets, delivering implementation, and raising ambition going forward.”
Typo alert, could somebody please tell ‘Politico’
the name’s Minchin, not Manchin:) Haha
Take care my friend,
ITV - no magic roundabout, though,
@DD Doodle never in doubt;)
@DD13, good to see your still about, I might have a share to apply your graphs to over a few years unless they are another ADV....
@ Kev, DELT not sure its a tip at the moment especially if the 1st well is a duster..
At the moment the sp is 3.9p(on a run), while their 1st drill(sept)was valued on success at 4p(before production), but later upgraded to 5.9p mainly based on the boe valuation quotient..which has probably been adjusted for gas spot price predictions
Next drill is penciled in for 2023 Q2 onwards,
Including this years drill 3 farm-ins appear to be sorted out of the top 5.
Risked for top 5 is about 16.6p was 10p
