there still appears to be more buys than sells. It has been like this for weeks, has the GTE story still got a final twist ?
Few web recommend this share as buy? http://www.britishbulls.com/StockPage.asp?CompanyTicker=GTE&MarketTicker=Industrials&TYP=S http://www.barchart.com/opinions/stocks/GTE.LS barchart shows signal buy after the 17-18 April..
I'm sure some have learnt to invest more on fact than rumour here! On course, sometimes the facts aren't clear either. But I have seen many a share like this rally before dying completely. If it rally's again in the next 10 days, then best bail!
Does anyone have a clue if this share will bounce back up again? Does it mean that the last day we have to sell our shares is on 17th April and after that day no trading will be allowed? Any views are welcome.
encreasing of buyres will help to rise the share n some expecting news will come up soon....will see some rise after us market open...good luck
I also hope its been an education to Investors Chronicle....
...the recent bubble on the edge of the very visible abyss was an exercise in total brinkmanship. Watching it was very good education. I believed in this company and the googly that bowled over the regular shareholder was also an education. No such thing as a total 'no-brainer' stock. My sympathies to those who held with genuine shareholder ethics.
You do not really want to be in one. Next to impossible to sell the shares (on some unknown exchange). Even then this has all been wrapped up. Even when the company is bought up, there will be very little for existing share-holders. It is all down to those with preferences I`m afraid... It looks like it is the end of the road....
.45 to buy. Where is everyone? Sold up I guess, most at a severe loss. Still watching with interest as I've never seen what, where and how a de list works out re a bu++ f ¥|<ed pi!
They de list on the 18th of this month
on other shares i have watched usually the last day before de-listing the shares tank, does anyone know what date these will de-list?
depending on when you bought your shares will depend how you get the info. i bought AFTER the crash and thought id make a quick buck (silly me say goodbye to a few grand :( ) if you bought recently this maybe why youve had no notice as the company sent out statements previously. log into your account, click ony My Statement then click on Corporate Action History. you shud have some info in there. i also RANG them which if your unsure then do this. they will explain any questions you have. BUT!!!!! as far as i know, if you hold shares with HALIFAX you will not retain them as they can not broker private company shares. this is what they told me, so be warned!
I was considering Barclays so thanks for the tip will do
I use barclays stockbrokers and have found them to be good, on quote and deal they often give me a better buy/sell price then the current bid/ask so might be worth having a look at them.
Hope I spelt that right anyone notice the mediated sales on Halifax plus they always seem to sell low and buy high. Any suggestions on a better account to use?
hi nozza. I also have a halifax account but can't find where it says that I have to sell my GTE shares, Can you help?
Cheers for that. Think we can see any further rises before then??
you wont be able to trade like you can now. you will need certificates or other statement saying you have shares, it wont be as easy to sell them as when the company goes private it will have an unknown value for a bit. thats what i was told. some banks like mine (**** - halifax) wont even allow you to retain your shares when it goes private therefore you need to sell before. each bank varies.
What will happen to our shares after 18th?? Will we be able to trad them somewhere or .......?? Thanks in advance Baste
Showing 2.01!? Oh those were the days not too long ago....
my investment here is all profit from the last spike. if I do not achieve my target price I will stay past the 18th
The thing is with this company, they are looking good for the year ahead and I want to stick around, but if they make the firm private i guess we cant see how we perceive the company to be running based on obligated stock market rules (i could be wrong) so i, as much as would be happier to sell by the 18th this is a just my way of knowing where and how much cashflow is running day by day.
I'm in two minds here, I first wanted to sell before the delist but if this company takes off which it has a good chance too would it be wise to hang on to my shares and hope to reap the profits at a later date?
I am with you on this, I am around £100 down atm which I can live with seeing I made on SAR. I have a feeling because 1.4million shares bought today against a million, i mean they are going somewhere. thesnakeman - I will want to sell up prior to the delisting, even at a loss to be fair. The missus will need all the money I have to pay for our wedding. keep the faith! I am sure this will head back to .90 by 4.30
Tricky one here I think? just out of interest how many of you will hold on to your shares once the company delists? and how many of you see a better future for us doing it that way?
