At this stage I'd panic, not being able to trade a share and turn it into cash isn't ideal... even if they are free shares it's still money that could be in your bank. It seems anyone can put anything they want on here and follow it up with DYOR & GLA and they can say what they like with no thought that their words may influence someone in a negative way. IMO :-/
I'm dead if we go bust. Got done on Entu earlier this year. Will find it hard to absorb another one.
Redleader I’m with you. Always a bit of a punt but the company are working to recover from a very low base against historic prices. A good deal and a return to anything like historic levels will be a very good investment. If it doesn’t come off I’ve only risked 200,000 shares and I got half those for free by trading so content to see how it goes. GL to all those brave enough to take a chance. As always DYOR.
To those wo are concerned with drop in sp.no worries at all sp will climb closer we get to forth comming delayed news.Due mid Jan 2018. I'm happy as I get a breather.happy Xmas all.
Well and truly.
is going on here? Just checked in. Are we f*****?
Oh yeah, and grph. Check out the early days before this little bubble burst. It's just like a helicopter, a fuel to noise converter.
Exactly, anything with an involvement in graphene technology is a worthwhile investment in the future. There's a lot of people that bought at the high 50+ region on the hope that graphene costs would reduce but the technology is just catching up and costs are reducing. These guys have been in the game for a while. VRS and IQP (I think that's the code) have been seeing great jumps following the increasing interest. Maybe worthwhile but as I've said before it's not a guarantee - I am also in for a punt with free shares.
news due by 08 Jan so it wont be too long befire we kniw which way this is going. I am optimistic on the basis that the comoany are working hard to restructure, survive and move into new ventures. Why bither doing that unless you are trying your hardest to succeed. Still happy to hold as a punt, which is all this ever was IMO. Potential upside could be very good, the loss while a risk, is minimal by comparison IMO.
they get it right they can make a mint Graphene has been around for years now but with the lithium story and possible uses in batteries building materials clothing lightbulbs the uses are endless and the profits there IF they get it right.
Im in the same boat. I've got a grand of 'free shares' was hoping for a good turn around. It looks like the restructuring might have worked if they are off acquiring new assets.
A bit like Kin group....I saw one guy write they have turned his 10K into 30. I am guessing this will lose 95% of value to current shareholders. I ended up with 800 in "free" shares after trading this from 1p.....IF they come back (which I doubt) then I doubt my holding will be able to cover selling costs. Always going broke.....the bod should be able to hold on for a while to pay their fees though.
give it a go what more have you to lose? An interesting new year for investing not just here. GL
I don't think we need to worry about the 2013 notice. The 2017 one is more concerning, but looks like it's not unusual, a bit like the strike off notices in the uk which rarely result in an actual strike off.
This one dated 14 November 2017.... This one? https://insolvencynotices.asic.gov.au/browsesearch-notices/notice-details/COULTER-GROUP-PTY-LTD-152202250/0bd388fa-d04a-4099-ae70-d46e3e4d12ed Is dated 2013..... Has anybody an explanation? Mark
I've emailed Coulter and asked them to clarify their situation. Could be their accountant is slow or something. With the time diff then I won't expect a reply until tomorrow.
Yes I saw that too. Thinking about it a bit more though...if Coulter does indeed go into liquidation, perhaps the point of CG Tekbuild pte will be to for us to buy those assets worth anything from the liquidators at a significant discount. Maybe their thinking (for a change) does make sense. I'm off on a long deserved trip overseas in 2 hours and I'm not going to worry about it! Catch up with you all in the new year. Cheers Baz
I think that's it. CG tekbuild PTE was set up in Singapore last week. https://www.singaporedatabases.com/company/201733555D/cg-tekbuild-pte-ltd I think this is one for prayers!
Would this be the same Coulter Group Pty in Australia that has been threatened with insolvency and is proposed to be deregulated? https://insolvencynotices.asic.gov.au/browsesearch-notices/notice-details/COULTER-GROUP-PTY-LTD-152202250/a756b64b-363f-4199-9f59-33ccd0f7736d I hope my 2% of GRPH isn't going straight down the toilet.
I guess an other lotto ticket share in the bin
No idea how this will turn out, suspect an initial dilution but longer term could be very good if successful ? If not successful presumably Graphene will be bought or no change ? If they are bought no idea what happens. If no change more of the same ? Always said this was a punt happy to wait and see what transpires.
Atleast it’s news I suppose
The directors of Graphene NanoChem believe that combining the Graphene NanoChem and CG TekBuild will advance its application of its graphene application into polymers, specifically in building materials and the deployment of the same into ready-made commercial projects.
so we now going into the modular buildings business or other words "Tents" ! Lol got my vote......NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Proposed Acquisition and Suspension of Trading Graphene NanoChem (AIM:GRPH), the international provider of nanotechnology performance enhancing solutions for global industries, announces that it is in negotiations for the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of CG TekBuild Pte Ltd (the "Proposed Acquisition"), a special purpose vehicle set up by Coulter Group Pty Ltd ("Coulter Group"), to consolidate a portfolio of projects and opportunities undertaken by the Coulter Group in the development, construction, installation and operations of enhanced modular buildings using its innovative modular construction technology for various market segments to provide housing accommodation solutions for residential and commercial villages and townships.
