Surely there has to be news within the next couple of weeks, to relist on AIM, etc. If they do throw in the towel hopefully will be before 5/4/18 so loss set off (CGT) can be taken in this tax year as meagre compensation. Fingers crossed that a deal is done though.
You’re all quite right, and I am at risk of losing about 120k - Pounds not shares. The only positive spin I can put on this, is that 1. my loss will it least wipe out my capital gains tax for this year and 2. The directors here have so many shares themselves that by saving the company they’ll be saving themselves some value to. Here’s hoping! Baz
Absolutely. I've already pretty much written my money off here.
Less than reassuring- Gets the Understatement of the Year Award.
This company's future is less than reassuring.
Within 1 month of the resignation of the previous broker. 1 week gone and counting. Is there any reason why a new broker could not have been organised once the previous incumbent had made their intentions known, even if the appointment might not be announced before said resignation took effect ? That way a replacement would have been seamless. This way is less reassuring.
If at some point we manage to get some of our funds back out of GRPH or even if we don't, here is a far better bet if you still believe in graphene technology@ a good entry price. http://www.graphene3dlab.com/s/home.asp Here is the most recent news on the company... http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/192007/graphene-3d-lab-patents-technology-which-harvests-thermal-energy-produced-in-bitcoin-mining-192007.html
As anyone any idea when we will get some news?

I made a massive error of judgement on this one too and I'm afraid everyone you should expect the worst. The crooked directors of this company have been dangling the promise of future success for years now and never ever delivered. The only thing they have managed to do correctly is announce their updates on the date they had promised to. Big debt overhang that's not going to disappear. Sorry.
At best I'm thinking it's 30%-70% against when it comes to this share staying alive but the fact we have had an RNS gives me a crumb of comfort. They didn't have to fire one off, and I think I'm correct in saying they cost a bit to log (?). If not then this will go down as one of my big errors of judgement: watched it fall for a long time and thought I'd catch the bottom for a small bounce and jump out again. Put a bit more in than usual too. Ah well.
in my opinion. They are talking about appointing a new broker and updates on the acquisition and share suspension. Doesnt sound like they've thrown in the towel to me, quite the opposite in fact. Surely if they were not trying to put together a deal there would be silence and the deadlines outlined previously, now, Mar 18th and May 30th would slip by with no comment. Still positive, still think it is worth a punt and still hoping for a decent return, in time.
Lost 15000 here with there bull S
With an ounce of intellect knew something was very wrong here in September, but the FCA need to look into the price manipulation and profiting that took place by certain entities
Just confirming what we already know...
I think we a F@@ked expect the worse, if any else happens its a bonus,, I'ts good night from him and good night from me,,
No reply to my email of 31/01 yet, so I have emailed the PR company (Yellow Jersey) as well. I will also resend the original email to the CEO and cc it to other directors if I can get contact details for them.
How come? ... What is the channel? I can’t trade and I haven’t heard anyone that can do it yet...
Well I have to say that I can't trade it yet through Share centre
I can trade GRPH..... No RNS though.... My other broker has opened the 'channels' to trade...GRPH shows a rise of 3.65%
is another broker (nomad) being appointed. We need this to be done by March 18th or we will be delisted. Until then all we can do is wait for news. Once a broker is appointed the shares can trade again,if the reverse acquisition deal is successful. The share can remain suspended for 6 months before it is delisted. The six months are up in May if memory serves, so hopefully a broker will be appointed before 18th March and a deal will be done before May. No idea what the sp would be but bought in at 1.38p and always looked at this as a punt. If luck holds MAYBE the sp will bounce back to previous levels, ( probably not in the short term ).15p to 35p has been seen before and would be a 7 to 15x return for me. If luck doesnt hold we probably lose our money. In my case 200,000 shares worth. Makes life interesting. For now its just a question of waiting, possibly only 5 weeks or less if all goes well, certainly no longer than 3 more months.
So ones delisted, all our money gone ? Can share be listed again ? I know not much is left anyway but if it is traded we might have some recovery in 10-20 years.
