Absolutely agree. Although the price that ii bought the shares at could be imo a bit higher it's a positive sign anyway which made me topping up at 2.12p. Time will tell.
When an institutional investor approaches you in order to invest in your company, that is bullish, that is precisely what you want to see happening when you are a small company with big plans for the medium to long-term future.
Oce, I agree. ATB
...something or nothing IMO...will all be forgotten about soon enough! No mass exodus either....everyone holding for the bigger picture...soon enough!
GLA
Think the institutional investor will be looking for a big percentage gain in order to justify the cost of investment management's time in making a £100k investment.

I agree if they have approached us and we know the and they certainly know the fundamentals then if anything it should have been minimum market value imo.
GLA
Yep and whenever it goes up on news to 2.2p - goodbye, the institutional investor!
Think the key point is surely that an institutional investor has approached the company and come on board for £100k - welcome, the institutional investor!
Bellers you are completely right. If this goes up above 2.2p there will be £110k of stock wanting to sell. If you get a rally in the future, sell out and find something else. Or alternatively sell out and buy back in after the next placing.
The problem starts when they go back towards 2.50 and they start unloading and then go back with more “ investment” at 1.90. Rinse and repeat. I had bigger hopes for this long term, but if this is how it’s going to get played I’m not so sure I’ve made the correct decision.🤔

Buyers have been nibbling away for some time here, the market is starved of stock, all the ingredients for a decent move, only 181m shares in issue remember and most tightly held, circa £3m m/cap is farcical for a potential world class Graphite project.

"people regard us as Greenroc to be a very serious player in the graphite space", so SB does not believe potential agreements with off-takers depend upon the achievement of specific milestones such as the submission of a formal application for an exploitation permit.
Steady progress being made. Key milestones / requirements identified. From my perspective, communication is good.
Looking forward to the PFS after the current drilling campaign is completed.
The potential extra resource from the enlarged licence area and the upper graphite level is promising.
The production referred to in the interview (8:00 min) relates to the active anode material, not just the graphite.
Given the Amistoq mine NPV8 of $179m and the active anode plant NPV8 of$545m.
With 187m shares currently in issue and various financing options being explored, I am prepared to wait.
Accelerates production from 2027 to 2028, surely that’s a mistake, do they mean 2026. Check out the RNS info from early 2023.

Stefan Bernstein previously worked for GEUS in Greenland, he has z fantastic knowledge of Minerals in Greenland along with Lars Brünner
Stefan Bernstein has increased the Licence a few times since joining over a Year ago.
Previously it was the Amitsoq Mine and the Kalaaq region.
Since got Nanortalik,
GreenRoc also has the Black Sands Ilmenite project next to Bluejay Dundas licence in Greenland..

Not sure why we have such a large uplift on the day. Looking at the traded values most are small . No one seems to be postualting a leak . I suspect this will burn and fizzle out. It would be good if it didn't but this is AIM
Could by Alba which hasn’t moved but owns 36% of GROC so benefit that way. Perhaps big news coming?
About time if got back up
come on GROC
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
My first purchase of GROC and it’s taken me over an hour to buy @2.30. I only got 49,823 shares and had to wait for even that order to be filled with HL.
Ocelot
Thanks for the clarification. I should have read the RNS.

Just look at the number of lines it takes at the beginning of the RNS to list GROC's highlights during the year and post year-end.
This is most impressive.
Reading GF and SB's comments, it's almost as if GROC is already established as a significant player in the space.
OUTLOOK
GreenRoc has set its intention to become one of the first, if not the first, vertically integrated producer of European, domestically sourced AAM for the fast-growing battery industry ...
In a geopolitical landscape where Western nations are scrambling to secure their supply chains of critical raw materials, Greenland is seeing an increasing interest in its large-scale projects from the European Union, as well as from individual countries such as the USA, the UK, Japan and South Korea. We are already seeing the tangible results of this with a pipeline of governmental support programmes having either been already implemented or announced by a wide range of nations and intergovernmental bodies. This support is expected to result in political and financial support to projects which can deliver high-quality critical raw materials with high ESG standards to support the energy transition in the Western world. One of the most obvious candidates for this is GreenRoc and our Amitsoq Graphite Project. (SB)
"As we continue into 2024, therefore, I believe we are in a very strong position to capitalise on the increasing awareness of the critical role which Amitsoq is set to play in the Western battery materials supply chain". (GF)
Think that name change to Greenroc Strategic Materials is a good idea.
GreenRoc's Chairman, George Frangeskides, commented:
"During the past financial year, we have cemented Amitsoq's position as one of the world's foremost graphite deposits. Our team's work has been focused not just on bringing the Amitsoq Mine into production, but also on developing the economic case for a vertically integrated graphite business at GreenRoc, encompassing not only an upstream graphite mine and primary concentrate production but also a downstream anode plant which will turn that graphite concentrate into high-value cSPG for EV batteries. I am pleased to be able to say that we remain firmly on track for that twin objective, with independent economic assessments completed in the past year now providing a combined pre-tax NPV for both sides of the business of more than US$1 billion.
"At the same time, it makes sense that our Company's name and branding should reflect the evolution of our business strategy and it is for that reason that we propose to change the Company's name from GreenRoc Mining to GreenRoc Strategic Materials, reflecting our amibition to become one of the first Western producers of high-value active anode material for electric vehicle batteries."

Are you saying the placing has gone into firm hands?
No exactly set the trading volumes alight today with 3 trades so far by 13:30 of a total value of £558.50
I wouldn't call a 10% dilution on a £3m stock that has the potential to multibag 10-20 fold heading for oblivion. But if you want to sell, I'll happily have your shares as will George at Alba.
Diluting to oblivion little by little
At least it was the bid price , minimum discount , could have been a lot worse , SP price holding up

The 2nd one concerns this morning's placing RNS.
The 1st one concerns the EU's critical raw materials act and concludes:
"... Greenroc's Amitsoq graphite plant and the active anode material plant is ideally positioned to become one of these (the EU's) strategic projects".
Last post: Luckybob23, 28 May 2024 07:38
It says in the RNS what the money is for.
When has a placing not been discounted? 5% seems a strange thing to complain about
So why whacks Private Investors 5% out of pocket for a mere £238,311 🤔
Playing same game as they did at Alba
Dilution, dilution, dilution

Agreed.
SB attended annual raw materials summit in Brussels last week.
A total of 5bn euros of funding for critical materials has now been announced by the governments of Germany (1bn), France and Italy (2bn each), the French and Italian announcements being made at the summit.
BMW and Stellantis (Peugeot, Fiat, Chrysler, Vauxhall, etc) are both considering buying critical raw materials directly from producers.
By EU standards, this is all moving forwards unusually quickly.
Looks very very positive indeed.

Bankrupty, how right you are. Here we are with a market cap of a measly £3.45m. I am amazed that no bigger company has not started to build a stake.
There is no sense with AIM shares. Worthless rubbish can command extortionate sp's for seemingly no apparent reason, making a fortune for a select few, or excellent prospects get suppressed to breaking point.
AIM has been broken for a long time and it's unlikely to change, ever.
Unfortunately.
Very concise
Surely we are in a better place today than when we were 5p + .....and yet we are 2.2p
Projected revenues of £5bn + (LOM) and a market cap below £4m.......Crazy or what?
Many companies embarking today LOOKING for a potential 10th of that in a project say £500m would command a higher M/C than us!!
The re-rate has to occur here...or else AIM is TOTALLY broken beyond repair!
GLA
Excellent NPV of $545m, let the re-rate begin !

Does anyone have any idea how long the DD and receipt of the loan, if approved, could take?
A reminder of 9th October 2023 RNS -
"GreenRoc Awarded Grant from UK Automotive Transformation Fund
GreenRoc Mining plc (AIM: GROC), a company focused on the development of critical mineral projects in Greenland, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a grant of approximately £250,000 by the Automotive Transformation Fund ("ATF") in the UK under its recently closed Feasibility Study Competition. The grant will part-finance a feasibility study into the establishment of a graphite spheronisation processing plant in the UK to produce active anode material from graphite concentrate delivered from GreenRoc's Amitsoq Graphite Project in southern Greenland ("Amitsoq" or the "Project")"
Support from many sides to get this graphite into vehicles ASAP.
"- This LoI will also assist GreenRoc secure further development finance" (from the RNS video).
Enterprising of US EXIM Bank.
Repayable over a maximum 5-year term, so provides a significant boost to the financial credibility of Amitsoq from a prestigious source.
Has this initiative "launched" the longer-term financing of Amitsoq?

Yes the additional testing was mentioned in January 2023 and was supposed to last 6-8 weeks. Then the August RNS said results by autumn 2023, but nothing mentioned since then. I guess it's more important to keep Amitsoq moving along, so I'm happy to leave other projects on the back burner for now.
Jeremiah99,
No, not yet.
Work was expanded to take a 2nd look at the results of the earlier samples.
did we ever get the results back from the additional testing of the 2022 tbs drill results?
from the august 2023 interim results -
"test work to determine the ilmenite content of the co****r grain fraction within drill core samples from thule black sands ("tbs"), greenroc's ilmenite mineral sands project in north greenland, is near completion and is expected to be reported this autumn."
At the bottom of its RNS of this morning, JAY presents its Dundas asset as follows:
Bluejay's most advanced project is the Dundas Ilmenite Project in Greenland, which is fully permitted and in the process of reinstating its 2019 MRE which, reported in accordance with the JORC Code, represents 117Mt at 6.1% ilmenite and a maiden offshore Exploration Target of between 300Mt and 530Mt of ilmenite at an average expected grade range of 0.4 - 4.8% ilmenite in-situ. The Company has agreed a Master Distribution Agreement with a major Asian conglomerate for up-to 340ktpa of its anticipated 440ktpa annual output. The Company has signed on a major European bank to head the financing syndicate for Dundas.

Fully agree. Onwards and upwards.
It seems to be a trait of market makers to cut prices at a flash to deter interest yet when buyers come they cut online buying in the same fashion, the point is you have to buy stocks like this when it is quiet, it looks very likely that GROC will receive the $3.5m (more than the current m/cap) from the US bank but what it also does suggest is the company could so easily be acquired.
The Letter of Interest also means equity dilution is unlikely now, good news indeed.
At current levels the shares are dirt cheap therefore, the issue is getting a reasonable slice of stock.
You know they are taking the mick when it drops 8-9% on just 220k traded. I'm watching patiently to buy more and know when I hit them they will run for cover. It will probably take less than 300k to have them NT to buy again
Hardly any stock available at offer price currently, the shares were trading around 5p in November last year, yesterdays news was very positive and unexpected, a possible $3.5m from a US Bank, that will prick the ears of other financiers and has put GROC on the US map.
All this for a £3m m/cap company.
Share price should continue to recover therefore, for chartists there is a gap to 3.2p that needs filling.
Jeremiah99.
Yep your 1.75p buy and others cleared the seller. The fact there was only 150k max when I bought made me buy, had it been 500k I would have probably left it. Been here before with Groc and their overhangs can drag so it's good there does not seem to be one and also good the news should mean no placings or we hope that.
