ELD - purchasing Deltic's interests i.e. Selene, that Shell and I think Dana also support is not impacted by sentiment from Government. The suitor is buying into future sales of gas and has the finances to succeed in that aim whereas Deltic does not. All in a few years time.

Who found 2 massive fields but failed to obtain funding to maintain their interest. Today announced selloff of all shares to a suitor, my view, for peanuts. This after going to shareholders for raises....

Beware when a major shareholder ducks out early.

Funding and sufficient for needs are worth keeping in mind.

Ongold, you must remember Alba are NOT a gold mining company or any other mineral. They, to put it simply, are an exploration company who wish to identify potential assets, enhance their value and hopefully sell to the benefit of shareholders and of course the company's future.

Look at some of the oil exploration companies. They dont generally do the extraction of oil and gas but pay for exploration costs to prove the asset value. Then reach agreement with a gas and oil producer with income coming from sales of the product. Simplistic view.

That is what Resources companies do.

Alba will not be a gold, graphite, ilmenite mining company. They will have to keep having new projects on the conveyor belt of investigation and proving value.

I am sure you know this as well as anyone that until Alba get a good payday from a project they will need funding to keep doing what they do. Call it lifestyle if you want but we all hope for a good project payday

I see South African investors have put money into Cononish Gold mine, previously run by Scotgold. MARCH 2025.

So, lets not get too negative about Clogau.

I seem to remember that there was vague rumours that their processing plant might be available to Clogau. I think that rumour is now scotched. Perhaps the previous mine manager may have returned to Scotland.

Oce - similarly, in the next few days is non specific. Updates are few and far between.

NOK - everyone knows the vague phase " in the process" It is deliberately used such that you can escape through saying the process took longer than expected.

Very realistic and slightly worrying but I am sure we all jumped in knowing what AIM companies have to do or sink. Yeah salaries/lifestyle are funded but we hope for something in the distant future. Clogau in my view was never going to be a massive gold mine but it will produce something that is economical. It was in the past and can be again. Gold does not work into rocks from the top down but from deeper upwards. The origin has to be somewhere so there must be gold to be found.

Yes, new projects will involve cash raises but I expect proof of concept and partner buy in e.g. groc interest.

I am here for the long run in. Foolish maybe but my interest is only small, less than 10000.
