I.Two broker target prices are at 28p including warrant shares, and tacking on a small control premium of 15-20% to that
II.30p also implies just under 7x 2024 EBITDA,similar to the 7.7x that MMA Offshore is being acquired for currently
Playing golf with Ivan on Monday! Will find out
Interested to hear your thoughts on why 30p is the target price...
@ Mcatee – nice ramper curveball.Clever Brunette did sell 0.5m shares compared to reported holdings in the 2023 Annual report and perhaps selling down without having to report since he is below 3%
@AA2020 Monthly volume traded this year is 40m shares.No. of shares on conversion is 137m.We are looking at 8-15months overhang if the warrant holders were to exit completely at any price above their 5.5p cost.Explains London roadshow with investors like thebd11 to drum up buyers for this big supply. Not easy to find investors on LSE these days as it is.Guess its time to put GMS up for sale as there has been significant value creation since 2021 capital raise.Or linger around for another 1yr with this additional overhang.I opt for the former if they can get anything north of 30p today
Thanks for clarifying! So I suppose SF and Mazeoui should also be announcing....

''Dividends are now being considered. In anticipation of further new contract wins, guidance upgrades, and periodic financial results to highlight this to the market, we have a positive outlook for the shares and value them at 28p.''

Looks like the art dealer selling as well!
The banks only had around 13% I believe after all the warrants were exercised. It’s not the largest overhang. I’ve seen much worse (e.g. Harbour). It will pass over the coming months.
Share buy backs on this weeks AGM ....
....by diluting shareholders and then selling the shares indiscriminately and creating an overhang....one of the issues with this stock despite the solid underlying fundamentals. There is no way so much stock is absorbed by investors in a short time frame barring an open bid for part or all of the company
The banks, after milking GMS for years with punitive interest rates, monitoring fees, etc. is shafting shareholders by diluting t

I'd imagine they need to notify when they issue new shares. The entirety of 137m shares can take few months to unload and can create an overhang.Hopefully these banks have the sense to do block trades to place these shares. Also possible they do some buyback post AGM on the 5th.
Suspect the recent sell off is the banks selling off their shares they obtained from the warrants?
Now that's food for thought....
At this rate, 4 corners very shrewd prediction of 6p this year just may be right
Final batch scaled in @ 19p.. considered it a buy at 20.7p it's now 19p with improved outlook, FCF increase, debt reduced, divi and buy backs under consideration(AGM 5.06.24) and near 25% pull back from highs

4corners finally turns positive, and the shares plunge.. :)
Shareholder engagement always follows the fundamentals! Some are a bit late to the party like sir beaumant but they get there in the end! But the early bird catches the worm like the legends wigwammer and investeverything
Well....if it makes you any happy,I still think you are a ramper.I never once questioned the fundamentals or the upside, rather my issue was with shareholder engagement which has improved much.Awaiting the endgame as Chris calls it....
U have changed ur tune! U called me a ramper wen I told everyone to fill ur boots at 3p! Glad u r still in though! I always thought a pessimistic old gitlike u would have sold out at 8p
@ AA2020 – Good to hear from you,and happy for your returns thus far.Patience Watson, more to come I think.Still here on the forum, but check out the commentary/posts on twitter (search using $GMS.L)

Morning Crew,
Another positive RNS on the debt level this morning, and a ten point reduction in the interest rate just continues to improve the situation.
I first bought in here years ago, paid 54.99 p for my first shares back in 2016, have been here ever since, adding along the way. I really like the way this company is being run at the moment and think we could get to the 40/50 p range over the next two years or so, simply on the value created by the debt reduction. But, first we have to get to Mac's 25p target, we got close on the 18th April, maybe todays the day, or tomorrow, I can wait.

Thanks Chris for sharing your extremely comprehensive notes of your meeting with GMS management for us all to read on LinkedIn. I've only been invested here for 6 months but have been gradually increasing my position since then. I like the GMS investment case which IMO still has legs in it and the positives of the (hopefully successful) refinancing of the bullet payment next June and then, if all goes well, the prospect of a dividend in 2025/26. What's not to like as long as it doesn't run out of steam.

Hi all - first time posting on here (marginally more active on ADVFN boards). Met with Mansour and CFO Alex last week, and shared some of my thoughts / comments / investment case here, in case of interest. Some long ramblings but hopefully the odd bit of insight. Remain Overweight - for reasons described within....

Think about 26p see me breaking even.

That's a great RNS, if only other investments were so good!
Yes - pretty much everything you'd want to see in a RNS - hopefully yesterday's wobble will reverse and up we go
Great numbers from the RNS, onwards and upwards folks.

Big tickets in the auction, hopefully we start to see some institutional buying now. With the limited free float (factoring in Saefox’s holding) shouldn’t take too much for us to finally get to somewhere near fair value. At the current deleveraging rate and increases date rates, the prospect of divi looks very realistic and would bring more interest into the recovery story. I was sceptical about the new management when they were brought in by SF, but they have done a v good job over the last two years.
59% since my buy on 18th December 2023. Better than NVIDIA !!!

Another great contract RNS, and again at a higher rate. ?The two phases of this contract shall elevate our backlog to USD 463 million, representing 3.1 times our 2023 revenue and instilling greater confidence in our attainment of our targets.?
Of the boat companies are making substantial gains again. Seacor Marine Holdings SMHI:NQY jumped 20% on yesterdays results; I sold a few.

Keeps getting sold into. Very disappoining that the momentum cannot be maintained.
We are not at 25p yet - Mac - but we are well on our way and the continued de-leveraging of debt is a sound business plan which will have a positive impact on the SP.
And, once the debt is substantially reduced, maybe by the end of 2025 - then what are they to do with all that spare cash? Did I hear someone say dividend??
I told everyone
