thanks for your answer, makes sence,it will have to fall more if people keep selling
Guess the initial dramatic fall was slightly over done by MM's and this is a correction but any bad or negative news IMO opinion will send it falling again, the management have quite a task getting this one back on an even keel, re-negotiating the term of long term debt and reducing the gearing. A long term upward trend is unlikely to be sustained until the delayed contracts come to fruition.
with all these sells
Not surprised by the sell volumes of the last few days and after a fall from a years high of 75.95 pence would hardly call a rise of an odd penny or so a recovery. With contract delays falling revenue and cash flow and in breach of covenants and having to try and re-negotiate terms on long term debt of $360 to $370 million this company at least in the short term is in choppy waters. Hopefully long term it will recover but I feel we need to get the rest of this year out of the way and await the statement on successful funding negotiations.
they must no something,to risky I'm out, maybe get back in another day when they stabilize
why would the share be moveing back up if there was any worries
Are you kidding this one could easily go to the wall, bankers in control now.
this is still a great company, should be 3 times higher on price what it is
Time to bail out this could easily fall a further 20% or 30% with limited short term prospect for the company to turn this around, bankers and markets will take a dim view.
Its gonna be a while by the sounds of it
Some recovery.
Agreed, the covenants are now an issue unfortunately. Personally I'm going to wait until the tide turns and the ME starts green-lighting some of these projects again... even if that means I need to pay a bit more for the shares.
Oh dear. Market will murder that update
Anyone like the look of the chart?
Very encouraging announcement this morning regarding the two new long term contracts in the European wind energy market and the new short term contract in O&G in Middle East. Nice bounce in the price to 74p. Looks like the market for GMS is recovering nicely.
It has taken a month's breather and is now at 73p Ask. Should continue to the upside.
Looks like today's 8% rise signals the next leg up. #bullish
GMS has been ranging since early January. Needs some news to push it higher. We might have to wait until 28th March when their preliminary results are out.
Farstad, Solstad, & Deep Sea Supply. Three of Norway’s biggest offshore oil industry service vessel (OSV) operators announced plans to merge to create one of the biggest fleets in the sector.

AL75. Thank you. It's being discussed by the membership, so we will soon make a decision.
I'm a technical trader so can't help you much with detailed fundamentals. However, I don't look at director buys and sells because a company should be good on it's own without the directors, the insiders, influencing it with share purchases. Sure it can be a guide, but it's only a minor factor in my book, and it's usually flagged by other analysts when I do my research. Good luck with the club though. PS: From a technical perspective, GMS has come out of it's downtrend after forming a rough cup and (long) handle reversal pattern between July and Dec 2016. The leg in the last few days is the first of the breakout, so in my book there will be more to come and it's not too late to buy.
My share club are looking to buy in to GMS after the contract announcement on 3 January. All very positive at that stage. Hike in price for a few days and a slight fall back at present. One issue that is causing us concern is the lack of Director purchases. In fact the last action was a sell by CEO in Sept 2016. I've read all previous RNS releases but am struggling to find anything positive over the longer term. Please could current shareholders on this board drop a few lines to educate me as to the plus points of buying in to GMS. Thank you in advance.
No need. Pullback is to be expected and the next leg up will come in a few weeks, if the breakout continues.
