Your right moneyman, not a long wait on share terms and hopefully we will be up n running luansobe, the key to opening the portfolio 😀
Copper price having no impact on shareprice.
Colin can ramble on about the price of copper until the cows come home but until one of the copper assets is either put into production or sold the shareprice will not move significantly
Just hit $10,400 per tonne
Not really trading like a company getting 2.1m tomorrow. Let's hope there is not another payment plan.
Prickly, COPJ, the junior copper miner etf is up 40% in the last 6 months. GLR/XTR/AFP/BZT up ........... . In fairness to Colin he is putting a lot of effort in. But still a lot of might/could/hope/ potential .........Timelines and hitting them might spur some buying but real results including the payout tomorrow wouldn't go amiss.
We need to see the Luansobe plan. Sandfire’s shares which we hold have increased considerably in value as you say, and with the mining license approved, the last piece of the jigsaw is the plan and confirmatory news on what’s happening with contractors hired to dig, haul, process etc make it real the and the market will wake up.
Listening to the 2 recent GLR podcasts with Colin, there were some very generally positive noises about Luansobe, however no mention was made of the start date for production.
This was stated clearly as September/October in the in depth Zambia podcast in February.
Conveniently neither Charles nor the Roast guys asked him about a production date.
Do we need to assume that this date is drifting? Shareholders should be given a best estimate update please.
It's of course possible that we can hit that date with the license in place, but more specifics most welcome.
Until production is confirmed as starting its hard to be a call option on copper I suppose
Hopefully the £2.1M we receive tomorrow for Glenover will raise the share price. Although I believe it when I see it when it comes to deadlines passing and no news.
Sadly the copper price does not have any effect on GLR SP Analytical. Producers like Sandfire are motoring, up 50% in the last 12 months when cu has risen from 3.90 to $4.50. A proper call option movement. GLR are down 20% more of a put! Is this just a CB effect or general lack of confidence in juniors . It does not really make sense otherwise.
Rick Rule on BHP/Anglo https://youtu.be/HzJunBPo7zI?si=gk8uN4H_P5-mbApK - interesting also given BHP interest in licenses either side of the kalahari PL253 that GLR owns. ‘Obvious’

You are right Flipper!
Ana - copper price is looking good. The pullback was quite weak so maybe it could go on a big step up.

$10k per tonne.

2p.. .... i want more. 😔
CB last bought at 0.73p on june 2000 after we had just bought the Kalahari licenses and 6 months later we initially sold 9 of them 6 months later to SFR when the SP spiked over 2p. CB knows he can't buy too many due to the SP spiking but to me this is a huge vote of confidence and 2p will be with us very soon
