is building up and has a position of 7.6171%.
Don't know but some huge delayed sells @26p worrying?!!
are the same at 33p, what is going on?
Believe this will come good. Great BOD just takes time I guess and money. Gla
The fee paid to Marwyn was considered 'reasonable' by the nomad. As we know James and mark have pockets in both camps. Im sure all transactions are 101% transparent. So no problems.
Not invested here but some friends are so I offered to do some analysis for them Cash end September 2017. 21.3m Cash end March 2018. 13.0m (mid point of the range) Reduction in 6 months. 8.3m Non acquisition cash burn 1.8m (as per previous six months) Other expenditure. 6.5m Additional Marwyn fees. 0.2m Undisclosed. 6.3m So more than 1m per month. Someone, somewhere has profited massively from this failed transaction. To a much greater extent than could ever be considered reasonable. If I was a shareholder the first thing I would be doing is requiring a breakdown of the 6.3m (it's actually in the 5-7m range) from the Directors because there is zero possibility that this is as a result of a normal, arm's length commercial transaction
Looks like lse have a few issues. All shares have reverted to todays pre open prices
From 33p To 96p Must be a mistake
£50,000 a month to Marwyn for'finanicial assistance'.....spend is astonishing. 27m to 14m and no deal. Name change required 'cash burn r us'.
Seems I'm not alone
Well, like I said, it's a punt. The vagueness of the rns, I find quite interesting. They have not stated that the acquisition is off, nor have they stated that it's going ahead. But, how I now interpret it, it looks as if the change in strategy is to buy it outright. I may well be wrong, and I'm prepared to be if that's the case. But other than the vagueness of rns, the fact that there has not been a mass sell off and actually some of what look like sells, are actually buys. Some things are just not adding up and hopefully, things may not be as bad as some make out.
these people who have thrown all this money into a toilet will ever do anything???
if you think these white collar criminals will do anything you are going in for rude awakening in my opinion.
Just took another 200 worth at 33p. Makes judging buys and sells a bit more difficult
The way I read the rns this morning, was that they had burned through 10million since September and had nothing to show for it. Having read through it again, I'm quietly confident that the acquisition will be made, resulting in them being left with upwards of 12million. So, not that bad at all. I could be wrong, but it's worth a go. Plus, I believe up to 90% of the shares are held by major holders. So, not much in the way of free float. Meaning that this could move very quickly........in either direction.
They were mostly buys actually.
worth a small punt, could make a 20% profit in a week or even less. Will ponder and possibly buy 5k shares by end of play today.
agree, never got in this morning, typically would have got in, waited for a 10% rise and got out, but everyone seems to be selling and the RNS doesn't seem terrible (company valued at 25% more than current SP)
4566 shares, swlc. Gotta be in it to win it :D
Was that 650 shares your purchase, Wideyed?
Well, I just took the gamble. Let's see what happens
I suppose it's the wording used you have to take into account. They stare that after transaction expenses they are expecting to be left with between 12 - 14 million. Which suggests to me that it has not been finalised yet. Like I said, it seems worth a small punt.....in my eyes
"Actually an outright buyout using cash reserves? I can't see what else would reduce the pot down to 12million. " Yes..but...if the cash is now off the books.....surely they would have needed to provide an RNS for the acquisition... The SP and MCAP is now below today's stated cash balance.......so...the market clearly thinks something is not being explained properly Marwyn Value Investors LP invested approximately 10 million in the initial placing. ..who are themselves listed ...currently trading on a year low SP http://www.lse.co.uk/SharePrice.asp?shareprice=MVI&share=MARWYN_VAL.
I suppose the clue may be in the title......update on acquisition strategy. Doesn't say that they are not going through with it, just a change I strategy
Is that the case, do you reckon? Actually an outright buyout using cash reserves? I can't see what else would reduce the pot down to 12million. From my perspective, it may be worth a small punt.
