I'm confused, this talk of dementia Biden etc.
I genuinely want to understand Indrid or anyone.
What can America ACTUALLY do to Iraq or Turkey?
I don't see anything other than ineffective words since March, I see confusion, lack of plan B.
Genuinely want to hear views on what America can do, invade again? Nope.
Max
who said America wanted to "do something" to Iraq or Turkey (the latter being a NATO member)? Are you OK?
And "invade again"? Literally ZERO American desire to invade Iraq.....so again what planet are you on?
And you realise Russia wouldn't stand a chance in Iraq, right? You aren't THAT deluded, surely?
They cant even keep hold of territory taken within a neighbouring country, let alone one hundreds of miles away.
And Turkey obviously is a no go for Russia, even without NATO joining in (which of course they would be obliged to under article 5). Well the proof is there when Turkey shot down a Russian jet in 2015 and Russia didnt do anything.......shock, lol!
so again, we have to ask, what are you bleating on about?
Indrid I asked how you think Iraq and Turkey are going to be pressured? People quote Blinky and dementia Biden asking Sudani to visit.
So what? They said April 4th the pipeline would open.
Tell me what USA or UK can 'do' to expedite opening?
Sanction Turkey. They already hit a few companies for "russian-sanctions busting". They could just arbitrarily crush some Erdogan-linked companies, for sh*t and giggles.
Do you not think Russia have shown the feeble nature of sanctions now that the rest of the world are uniting?
Ps in the world of reality, without the cracks indrid smokes
Turkey has already shot itself in the foot with the F35 and NATO. The State department must now get heavy with Erdogan-his policy towards Armenia could be the tipping point,
@armas - methinks you sold in the low 80s. Bite the bullet and buy back in mate and wait for gold - black gold that is.
Turkey is not Russia, it cannot afford to live in autarchy and has not been very successful at dedollarizing its economy. Sanctions would likely bite fiercely and Erdogan is probably not interested to verify if threatened with it.
"Do you not think Russia have shown the feeble nature of sanctions now that the rest of the world are uniting?"
"feeble" sanctions? that is why Russia is running its biggest trade deficit on record, the ruble is the worst performing major currency of 2023, Russia recently hiked rates by the largest margin on record and Putin himself asked that sanctions need to be removed if he was to renter the grain deal.....
funny he would include "feeble" sanctions as part of negotiating tactics, eh?
and the "rest of the world"........why are you lying again?
here are the countries that vote with Russia at the UN......Syria, Iran, Belarus, North Korea, Eritrea, Mali and Nicaragua......FFS........LOL..........you're a clown Max and that is an insult to clowns.
why cant you even lie convincingly?
"Indrid I asked how you think Iraq and Turkey are going to be pressured"
no you did not.
you specifically mentioned "invading" Iraq, you moron.
the US has more political influence over Turkey and Iraq than Russia does, so it will apply any political pressure it can. It might work, it might not, but Russia has less to negotiate with than the US, no matter how many lies and deluded narratives you'll no doubt try to spin.
Feeble was used rather loosely by Putin .. the man is getting desperate despite the bravado. The Chinese are laughing their little yellow socks off. They’ve got Russia over the same barrel as Iraq has the KRG.

Iraq: New law allows foreign companies to own oil output
With this new law, Iraq seeks to leverage its oil wealth to attract foreign investment. If this got passed (effectively legitimizing PSC-s)... would be very great.
If that's passed surely it would finally make GKP the massive takeover target it has often promised to be. And for a much inflated price compared to today :)
Yes I agree easily 200p
Personally I think news has already leaked of the actual date and people / inside trading is already happing hence the price is stable above 100p
Just need the RNS now and fireworks everywhere
Jimmee/Delta - greetings !
Still here lurking in the background hoping and praying for 'that' day !
Haven't conversed with Blade for quite a while now, but been 'speaking' to Batfarrell recently, who is still very upbeat about GKP. Not heard from Toatie for years, nor any of the others ( the long-timers ). The Callander meet was such a long time ago - but still fresh in the memory lol !
One Day Rodders !! ( he says with crossed fingers ).
Anfil
I will take with a pinch of salt.
These idiots won't agree on them terms all bo!!ocks as per usual from these thieves.
Will take them 10 years to agree on the biscuits for any resolutions
Hi Victor… Callander what a hoot , I can still see Wsimmo ( RIP ) sitting on that horse that looked more like shetland pony. His feet were almost touching the floor lol . We can maybe catch up in the spring somewhere. See who’s all still kicking about 👍
Stay safe
