The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I find Myles Caggins voice grating. The way he slowly speaks and pronounced each word makes me want punch his face.
That is until I realised why he is doing that. All his interviews are with people speaking Arabic or Sorani so he speaks slowly to give the interpreter time to understand and translate.
Look up on LinkedIn to see why he is the guy for the job:
“ I maintain extensive media, government, and diplomatic contacts and strategic relationships throughout Washington, D.C., and the Middle East—particularly in Iraq, Kurdistan region, and northeastern Syria.”
“ Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.”
Looks like the best person for the job.
ATB to all shareholders
@roberto - the price at close of play on 25th March was 3.46 so therefore it’s higher not lower.
Happy to help. Facts matter.
All of us are factually correct but you my friend are comparing apples with oranges.
According to your warped logic if a share price is at £2 , then rises to £4 after a trading update but then falls back to £2.50 . In your bizarre world this apparently means that the price has fallen 😂
Has it though? I’ve only got 120k shares and yet I’m offered 3.56p to sell. Start of last week I wasn’t even getting a price on HL. There have been quite a few sells last week but someone is mopping them up otherwise we should have seen the price drop to 3p.
Id say it’s a bit more than optimistic, around the 3 minutes mark he says ‘we will have a huge announcement when those agreements are done’ when talking about new contracts being signed with Iraq.
All imo but can’t see how he would be saying this unless some negotiations are already taking place behind the scenes.
Nice orchestrated firework display from Iran, US and Israel last night. News outlets already reporting US have said they won’t join Israel in any offensive move against Iran. A face saving PR exercise.
Also check out the tweets from UK prime minister and the US offices mentioning only Iraq and Jordan when talking about regional allies. I think the west are losing a lot of the countries in Middle East and so it’s important strategically for US to keep it aligned with the West.

Cobalt blue: “ Nobody in their right mind is buying shares in this dog. ”
I agree until we get some steer from our illustrious leaders the prudent approach would be to wait and see. However, there must be a background buyer. Even with all the sells the bid is slowly creeping up. Maybe Porky is buying on the sly 😂
One day rodders CLX will not only save lives but we’ll make us all rich.

Maybe it is @porky9 buying whilst getting others to sell. If it is 👏
Either way it looks like the market much like us is waiting for some divine words from Dilly. Hopefully she will be ready to realise an rns or two when she’s back from Easter holiday. Never forget her first priority is family.
Looks like the yanks won’t be leaving Iraq anytime soon.
Eid Mubarak to all Iraqis and Kurdistan people. Celebrate your Eid and let’s get this oil flowing and let’s all make money instead of war. 🙏

Sudani taking representatives of KRG with him to meet sleepy Joe. Bodes well methinks.

Rudaw - Washington
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani and a high-level delegation, including representatives of the Kurdistan Region, will be in Washington next week to discuss various issues with US officials.
One of the most important meetings will be at the State Department, which will be the meeting of the Iraqi High Coordination Committee. A State Department spokesman told Rudaw that the meetings will begin next Monday.
"The US-Iraq High Coordination Committee will meet next week on Monday to focus on the priorities and broader relationship between the two countries, including energy independence, economic reform services for the Iraqi people and strengthening democracy," Miller said and there will be the rule of law as well as educational and cultural ties."
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) delegation will participate in the meetings and the United States intends to resolve the issues between Erbil and Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region, "a resilient and strong region.
"Representatives of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government will participate in these talks. The United States supports a resilient and strong Kurdistan Region within a strong, federal and stable Iraq, and we encourage the Iraqi and Kurdistan Regional Governments to make their efforts," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told Rudaw "They should do so to solve their problems and provide economic prosperity for all Iraqis.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and US President Joe Biden are scheduled to meet at the White House this afternoon. This meeting will show how successful this visit was.
The meeting also discussed security and energy relations; They will also discuss the remaining US troops in Iraq, the strengthening of armed groups in Iraq and the problems between Erbil and Baghdad.
د. "The meeting will also discuss relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi federal government, which have had many obstacles and the United States has encouraged them to resolve them. I think the prime minister did a good job to reach a bilateral agreement," he said At least time to resolve issues, until all issues are fully resolved and we hope these relations will continue to be strong.”
The Iraqi prime minister is scheduled to meet with the media and research centers to discuss Iraq-US relations and the situation in the region.
@broadfordbay - surely that can’t be true can it? After all an Iraqi minister told us a couple of weeks ago that they were still waiting for the documents. 😂
You seem to be disappointed in the share price trajectory - strange.
What do you guys make of this? Is the bottleneck the transportation fee the Russians want? It looks Sudani talked to these russian companies first.

Representatives of two major Russian oil companies, Lukoil and Gazprom, arrived in Erbil today to discuss KRG oil exports and the development of Kurdistan's oil fields.
Details: A delegation from the two companies separately met with the Minister of Natural Resources and the Head of the Diwan of Prime Ministry Omed Sabah in Erbil.
According to Sabah, the meetings discussed the agreement between the KRG and the Iraqi government to resume oil exports, as well as the investment activities of Russian companies in the region.
Later, Vadim Botakov, Director General of Russian Gazprom in Iraq and the Middle East, visited the Prime Minister's Office.
Sabah stated that the meeting emphasized continuous coordination between the KRG and oil companies, as well as the KRG's ongoing efforts for strategic partnerships with oil companies and resolving oil and gas issues between the Iraqi Federal Government and the KRG within the constitutional rights of the Kurdistan Region.
The development of oil fields was another topic discussed between the Head of the Bureau and the Russian company's representative. Sabah reaffirmed the KRG's support for the energy sector and oil companies operating in the Kurdistan Region.
In 2017, the Russians established a presence in the KRG's oil sector, with Rosneft owning 60% of the Kurdistan oil pipeline worth $1.7 billion, according to an agreement signed in the presence of the KRG Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Natural Resources.
Oil exports from the KRG have been suspended since March 25, 2023, prompting foreign oil companies to write a letter to the United States demanding pressure on Baghdad to resume exports.
Despite the suspension of exports to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, companies are currently producing 200,000 to 220,000 barrels of oil per day in the Kurdistan Region.
After resolving the salary issue, the Iraqi authorities are expected to work on resuming oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, as the budget law requires the KRG to export 400,000 barrels of oil per day, with the revenues going directly to the Federal Ministry of Finance. The only disputed issue between Erbil, Baghdad, and foreign companies remains the cost of oil production in the Kurdistan Region.
Just when you think this is turning a corner you get sucker punched by the BOD.
Why not wait and use the money from sale of MJF? As it stands we are going to get a minimum 5% dilution on failure. If successful 10% dilution and then the firm $5m of income we have to pay out as well.
This member of the concert party is having his cake and eating it.
On failure he still gets rich on casp share appreciation on the back of sale of MJF or success on block 8 or deeps.
This is a pure derisking play with us casp shareholders as the patsies.
I’ll definately be voting no. I know it will go through no matter what but a John percentage no vote will be a warning sign for this bod. The independent members of the bod are not really independent if they think this is okay
Still think this will come good but not too happy with the dilution
I agree with you Porky that the company has made a right pigs ear of it all. I invested because of CLX and I’m still confident that will be the company maker even with all the crap going on.
In the interim share price may fall but 1p really? Surely even you don’t believe this Porky.
Kudos for calling it right so far but I find it hard to believe that someone spends years on a chat forum but is not invested and thinks the company is now a broken record 😂
It’s not just walleye and itsaponzi that are short here. There were a few others just below the reporting 0.5% so hopefully they’re all scrambling for shares 😂
Usually Apikur have called out the IRG for their BS but not this time. Could be they are waiting for a meeting with KRG before posting.

More confirmation of some sort of deal by President of Iraq
“ The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, confirmed today, Sunday (April 7, 2024), that an “appropriate solution” had been reached to export Kurdistan’s oil and employees’ salaries.” (Courtesy of google translate)
No idea what this deal mean for the oil companies. The fact Barzani has gone back happy means he’s got what he wanted but doesn’t mean it’s what the oil companies wanted. One way or another looks like April is going to be the month of make or break.

Translated using google translate:
“The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, confirmed on Saturday that an initial agreement had been reached on the oil file, which is one of the most prominent outstanding problems between Baghdad and the region.”
Hopefully the IOCs have had input rather than something that will be foisted on them.
