Should be good this week.
Even if pipe line or payment not reached this week. (But i think it will. As Both sides losing alot of money!)
Still we are making a profit each month with no debt. What a great position to be in!
Share price still cheap and with immediate news due . Pipe line ready to open. Both sides sitting at the table to find a deal...it couldn't be better really.... just alittle patience.
I cant see conflict having much impact on opening the pipeline other than the fear factor and increasing the oil price. Which is good for us!
Agree GKP and GENEL are massively undervalued, i think we will see a huge re-rating once the oil flows along the pipeline again, wont be too far away , talks been going on last few days, im sure they will release the news soon , and we will see a huge Jump in both stocks
It isn't strange, its a commonality here since restructure in 2016.
The share price is running at a large discount ...even to in country peers!
Because its the most desirable by far.

GKP and Genel both 1.61% down, ?? hopefully we will get some news on the payments coming to the IOC, s this week,
TSSZ
No payments to IOCs what makes you think that ??
No payment no oil no pipeline resumption its as black and white as that...
I'm happy Gkp plodding on selling locally for now untill we get what we are owed and the dots and Ts signed.
Gkp are probably over 40kbopd locally now !!
Maybe an update on that would be nice but to much going on for that happen .
I'm not even expecting to much in the share price when it does open .. 150p max then a sell off down to 120s .
I'm definitely selling half my holdings on pipeline RNS but not if we get a decent lump from receivables..
Just look at ENOG big powerful company with NO financial issues or payment issues and it’s down 13%
Market crash coming, buying opportunity soon
Think there will be one or two panic traders, first thing, but it only opens up another buying opportunity ,
If Irn oil is further sanctioned or Israel takes revenge against Iran for supplying drones and weapons etc, then we could see a return to $120 oil price, the route through the Turkish pipeline will be very attractive.
Are you for reel
Says you, spouting nonsense as truth
Due to the issues in the Middle East
There will be no payment to any oil company
And with America sending ships across they have just made the situation worse
Good luck to everyone, but this could cause the whole of the Middle East into another big conflict
Oil price is higher as Iran has praised hamas. Iran recently brought 700 million bopd but if US tighten sanctions then the seat gradually come off line. Yes pipeline needs opening and international pressure being applied will increase.
Oil price rising, KRG/IRAQ/TURKEY need to get this oil pipe flowing this week,
At least someone is getting payed !!So hopefully the IOCs are next in line to receive some cash . Remember its their main source of income for kurdistan!!
No oil no budget money simples as that ..
Where is that RNS with a $100m payment??.
Shafaq News / The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region (KRI) confirmed on Sunday that it has allocated a significant portion of its domestic financial revenues to finance the monthly salaries of public sector employees in the Region.
Hunar Jamal, the spokesperson for the ministry, stated during a joint press conference with the ministry's advisor, Hawri Kamal, that a substantial part of the financial revenues has been earmarked to bridge the gap in monthly salaries. He emphasized that the responsibility of the Regional Government (KRG) extends beyond salary disbursements to include expenses for departments and affiliated institutions.
During the same conference, the ministry's advisor mentioned, "Some media outlets that discuss revenues do not convey the truth. They mention 320 billion but do not clarify that not all of it is in cash. Some is allocated to ministries, some to services, and some to other areas, leaving a relatively small amount."
He continued, "We believe in transparency, and in the coming week, we will announce all revenues, including those of the last six months, and we will deliver this amount to the federal government and disclose the figure."
Kamal threatened legal action against local media outlets that he claimed were disseminating inaccurate news, emphasizing that the Ministry of Finance and Economy unequivocally rejects any unauthorized statements made on its behalf by any individual.
'hysteria' ..........
'This will all die down in a few days' .............
As a US Carrier Strike Group is sent to the area. This will NOT die down in a few days.
" Safeen Dizayee, announced on Sunday that the United States, the United Kingdom, and France have escalated their efforts to address the issue of resuming oil exports from the Kurdistan Region through the pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. This initiative comes after a six-month hiatus in exports.
In his speech, Dizayee emphasized that "despite the Kurdistan Region's oil not being exported for several months, the region maintains its position on the global energy map." He highlighted international endeavors aimed at reintroducing Kurdistan's oil to the global market, indicating, "The United States, France, and the United Kingdom are working to resolve the issue between Baghdad and Ankara to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan Region."
Seems a neat face-saver then: levvy a penalty on us IOCs working under the usual Erbil warlords to pay-off Turkey’s fine for them (plus a sufficient pilferring factor to satisfy them) and it’s a win-win-win (at no cost to Baghdad, Ankra or Erbil).
What an elegant solution.
Cor..... $35 per barrel to the oil companies, would you like that sir???? Little wonder that they would increase exports to 1M bopd.
Still just potential, but very promising.
https://www.rudaw.net/english/opinion/08102023
The Iraqi government has announced an allocation of only $6 per barrel for oil producers in the Region, a figure that has been met with significant resistance from IOCs. In an interview with Rudaw TV, the spokesperson for the Association of the Petroleum Industry of Kurdistan (Apikur), challenged a $6 compensation, revealing that foreign companies in the south receive much more than that amount, around $35. The oil companies in the Kurdistan Region demand a similar compensation from the Iraqi government.
Addressing these obstacles could lead to an increased pipeline capacity, potentially reaching one million barrels per day. This would attract substantial investment, driving further growth in the oil industry in the Kurdistan Region.
It's the hysteria that will die down in a few days. The mostly one sided war has been going on for decades as we all know.
And yes it will be .
Exports legitimised , Kurdistan oilers re-rate, Seven Sisters fight it out to take them over , to develop the massive Oil and Gas reserves.

It should send the signal that the arguing over the oil payments is nothing compared to the wider Middle East issues. They need to restart exports and make some money in case it all kicks off big time
Scaremongering ? - no just my thoughts.
" This will all die down in a few days " - I think you way off the mark there !
Don't think it will make a dent on the oil price, Israel will crush Hamas., and round up a few of these terrorists. end of next week we will see a clearer picture, of Israels retribution. I don't think Iran will escape without some punishment too.
expecting a few air strikes there to happen, Iran has sponsored these events. With arms and money
Scaremongering. None of the major Arab countries will support the Palestinians. This will all die down in a few days. Ukraine has a right to defend itself from occupiers amd retaliate on Russian territory but Palestine doesn't....go figure.
