Not what I expected but still a dividend? This is a long term investment for me, will buy more on the dip, 12 months will show a different story, GLA
Oh Dear. Not the results I wanted to hear. Lets see how big the fall is Today....
S.P. back to where it was 10 Years ago. Cant work this one out T.B.H. and stuck in with losses I didn`t think would happen so quickly. News awaiting....
Let’s see what the RNS reads tomorrow, I’m expecting good news :)
It does look like it needs a jolt, either that, or this is the most unknown trading share in the Country. I am well invested for the results tomorrow, but I would be concerned if it remained flat up to the bell.
Increasing preference for minimally and non-invasive procedures to enhance clinical outcomes will offer unprecedented growth opportunities to medical laser market. Growing prevalence of obesity, focus on physical appearance and rising awareness among people regarding aesthetic procedures are some of the notable industry driving factors. Adoption of medical lasers due to less pain, minimal incisions and faster recovery will propel the product demand. Additionally, continuous developments in laser-assisted devices to offer advanced treatments in healthcare facilities with reduced risk of post procedural complications will supporting the industry growth.
Following publication of the National Space Strategy in September last year, the Defence Space Strategy (DSS) outlines how Defence will protect the UK’s national interests in space in an era of ever-growing threats, stimulating growth across the sector and supporting highly skilled jobs across the UK.
As part of the new £1.4 billion investment, over the next ten years £968 million will be committed to deliver a multi-satellite system to support greater global surveillance and intelligence for military operations – known as the ISTARI Programme. A further £61 million will explore cutting-edge laser communications technology to deliver data from space to Earth at a speed equivalent to superfast broadband.
This substantial investment in space defence is on top of the existing £5 billion already upgrading the UK’s Skynet satellite communications capability – providing strategic communication services to the UK Armed Forces and allies.
North America should see an influx in semiconductor fabrication plants built on its soil. The $52 billion in subsidies is sure to encourage more manufacturers to have a presence in the United States, thus potentially taking even more of Taiwan's business. This is sure to aid ghh's industrial laser arm.
Lots of jiggery pokery going on here atm lol.
Lots of ii's getting crypto burn, Invesco like others are reshuffling key staff in mitigation exercise.
Invesco transferred shares to Fidelity
Invesco transferred shares to Fidelity
And then a retrace back to £10+ I'd add.
I thought the fuse had been lit this morning, but it looks like the fuse was wet. Another 7 trading days before the results, one thing is for sure, I can’t see this dropping lower and if the figures are half decent we should see a 20% increase on this crazy price. GLA.
Looking forward to the 6th December, I’m confident the results and future business prospects will be sound, GLA
And there it is Fidelity taken a 5.22% stance in Gooch and Housego approximately 1.3m shares.
This could easily be a double bagger come Xmas it's been hammered down for 3 months and their order book is bulging.
Volume beginning to increase here as predicted and a great entry point just now.
To say that Aberdeen and Invesco are getting out is misleading as they have only traded a miniscule amount of their holdings it's what institutions do regularly to manipulate the sp. As for the CEO being replaced the story is he retired. It's all about timing this share it gets hammered down obviously but when it turns you gotta be in or you miss out as it's a rocket ship.
Looking good value but I’ve got 2 concerns that are making me wary:
1. Why are the iis- Abrdn and Invesco -getting out? Over £1m sells yesterday and only £160k buys reported.
2. What’s the back story behind the change of CEO? It seems to have happened very quickly and without warning.
Took another nibble here this morning
Ssssssssh keep it secret until after I get my Dec bonus invested.
On the 6th December, results are believed to be a huge improvement but as expected I believe:)
MM’s up to their old tricks, I made a decent buy this morning and not showing up on the tape.
That said, it is a funny old business share trading. The share turn represents less than 0.1% of total called up share capital.
