here since under a penny?
I said this a while ago, on here and to some close friends that the price movement here is similar to how it felt at the 2p’s region. Lots of shannanigans with the SP:
Hopefully we are in for more explosive gains much like those days so I ask who here was around and is still around from those days?
‘I’
“ I “
Even remember the day we broke 1p on black hill nuggets found RNS if I remember right !

Newmont walk away from EG was an awful kick in the nuts....
Yup, bought very early and 20p was my dream price.
Then I had another dream... still got it!
Another I!
Remember moving my then inconsiderable investment into an ISA when the stories of Newmont first appeared just incase something came of it..... then thought that was a complete waste of time when they walked!
A little patience and faith has paid off though and hoping the next few years of being a Greatland shareholder are as rewarding as the last couple!
Nah, just checked mine. 3.5p. Aah well. I’ll keep adding. Still good value.
Was in from the EG days then after the big drop then i just left it all in and sat on things , not really knowing if it would come good but due to the irons in the fire that had on the go , i thought reasonable . thank goodness i did!!
All the best folks you see its never all over till the fat lady sings lol.
Yep. Since before EG. I remember when my dream price was 8.5p :-). Then I had my eyes opened a bit wider by some knowledgeable posters on here….
First buy 500k at 0.54p so “I” certainly was and still am here!
and lets not forget all the bichin whingers going on about the drop from 37p to 16p. they all forget we took a huge hit from 2.2p to 0.6p.
BUT.....the tide has turned now.
I remember that hit
At the time it showed me a £10k paper loss
The paper loss this time around is a little bit harder to look at. I assume the drop from £1.50 down to £1 will be much more painful;)
Almost but not quite in the sub 1p club for me.. 1.1p my first buy post E.G. but pre HAD05. Averaged up to 1.55p with 3.5m shares. Got in on a total fluke of an overheard snippet from the person PI's used to love-to-hate SB* (friend, of a friend, of someone who knows him). Right time right place.. still had to do the mental leg work though and commit my money. Held all through various big drops on the way up to 38p. Sold a load in high 20s post Scally, bought a load more at 18 and 16 when the fearful were selling, sold again at 22.4 last week. Still holding 1.4m for the long run into next year and beyond.
*Which has led our anxious watery balloon pumper to believe all sorts of elaborate conspiracy theories in his head about my connections, lol.
First buy of 1m shares on 25 July 2017 at a total cost of £5,862.50 including charges in ISA. A few more buys & sells since then. Holding on - GGP still 24% of portfolio. Been a crazy ride. I will still be a shareholder for the maiden dividend (or full buyout?). Patience pays off.
I watched unfortunately as I was all in on EUA at the time but that share has been kind to me, kind enough to let me sell half and re build my PF including 100k of share here, I did have a little trade here from 3p-7p but not massive. Thought I'd lost my way back in as it hit the 30's quick. Avg 16.4p for me.
Well done all those who achieved what the o/p is asking.
GLA
Bamble. I first bought around that time too. Had around 10m at one point between mine and Mrs SIPPS and ISA's. Couple of years ago needed cash and sold 1.5m for a relative pittance. Sold all but 1m in the last big rise, but now own a villa in Marbella thanks to GGP.
So whos going to carry on buying obviously the more we mop up as pi,s the less for the mms to play there silly games also hope it all plays out for everyone and they hit there own goals.
I will continue to but although I am limited at the moment.
At this price it's still well worth topping up.
GLA
Jaguarflush - never mind hitting their own goals. NCM are doing a Roy of the Rovers and smashing in a Hat-Trick in the Monday Night Game.

Err.. yeah H cuckoo is the word alright lol! I sold the 2m in the high 20s post Scally, not last Friday. Friday was just the couple of hundred thousand shares I bought the week before @ 16.4p. Like I say I've held 1.4m long term since selling post scally. It's called making money and what we're all here to do. You really are a balloon.
26p average for me ha ha but looking forward to this week and the next few months ,and for the first time ever feeling confident
I was caught with FRR and made up the losses with GGP.
ON-LINE Investment and trading is not for everyone.
If housewives, the old and disabled can easily been persuaded
signing High Risk forms on the spot unaware they can lose the lot?
Imagine Boris signing on treating Investment like FUN? He might not last
very long. Got it wrong taking advice from someone not switched on.
