So just £29billion market cap 🤦🏼♂️
Only 96 bagger from here then Jersey. Yeah no problem.
One other factor to add into the mix is Greatland aspire to become a multi mine operation. Once they get first mine up and running the board are perfectly suited to rapidly leverage that asset to add further to the producing assets.

Hi Joubert. Looking at a 100 year chart for the purchasing power of fiat ( in multiple currencies) v gold, shows that fiat has already collapsed average 98%. Central banks will do all in their criminal power to continue the farce that is the present system. The death of the USA $ and all other linked currencies is happening as we speak. The rise in the POG over time is not due to the value of the (suppressed) POG rising but the value (purchasing power) of fiat falling. This fall is hidden with the word INFLATION and is accepted by the blind ignorance of many as acceptable.
Time has proven that one of the best ways to safeguard against the erosion of wealth by inflation is to hold physical gold.
I must add it is good to have a sensible debate for a change. ATB Speedy
Important to think about the potential MC in the next few years for miners and not how that looks today. Consider the Dow/Gold ratio - in decades gone by parity would be scorned at but it’s happened before. Newmont currently 45B - what will it be in 3 years time?
With the potential upside in POG the unimaginable actually becomes imaginable. That’s why I broke down the factors into parts to show a potential cumulative leverage impact. None of the factors are out of the question - whether they are fall into line is another factor of course!
ATB
Had a read up on Executive Order 6102, 1933 gold confiscation. Interesting what governments will do. More likely they will go for Crypto this time, as China already has.
With our Board Members one other factor to add in - GGP reverse take over of Newmont, so £29bn capitalisation will look pretty small by then!
MH01 - I agree it’s a big number. Look at the individual factors I have suggested and put in your own and perhaps share?
ATB
You ever wonder why this place has festered the trolls the last 3 years since the ATH… posts like £5 a share are a good reason. Ramping like that during 2020 followed by a 3 year fall is exactly why this place manifests into a kids playground. Sensible valuations based on real numbers is better. Don Durrett has $3.4bill if his parameters are met. Far short of $50bill. I’d love to win the lottery myself and would love to see GGP up 10 fold. But I’m a realist. Perhaps a few here need to settle down.
Hi EMC2. Now thats what i call positive thinking. A streamlined Newmont along with a POG re rate and my calculator is too small. ATB Speedy
I’ve shared calculations in the past a few months back. Based on free cash flow estimates. A range of 20p to 80p depending upon margins, output and PE ratios.
Would you mind sharing the basis of your calculations again please MH01? Interested to understand the factors you have used and how far in the future you have pontificated- this is just for fun remember so you are not being challenged.
Thanks
Hi MH. You have your opinions and some have other. You keep on trying to dismiss the possibilities of an SP of £5. I have laid out the route to this fig more than once to you. It is not, i repeat, not ramping just an exercise in the possibilities of the effect on miners SP due to a POG at $10k/oz.
As i said you have you opinions but please read and understand the context of my post rather than trying to belittle my opinions. ATB Speedy
Speedy - whilst I saw the outcome of your thoughts I didn’t see the breakdown- that’s why I did my own quick thoughts and I was actually very surprised at the outcome- can you share your breakdown please so I can compare to my own?
Thanks
Not belittling anyone. But you can’t complain about the “derampers” when posts like £5 a share are put here and we’re 6pence.
If I used $10k gold into my FCF calculator what AISC do I use…. Won’t be $1000. The key number is “margin” per ounce plus how many ounces we extract a year, times a PE ratio. That’s rational. 20p is £1bill market cap at the current issued shares. Important that GGP starts earning income as soon as possible.
Gents, it’s all best guess at the moment and enjoy seeing people’s thoughts which are generally supported by good logic.
As A number of people are saying “it’s their opinion only” so treat it as such. Time will tell who was the more accurate.

MH - just to undeline I am not ramping - just guessing what is possible if several factors were alligned.
ATB
Absolutely correct Novice - all I am doing is taking each factor in isolation - I might not have included all the factors but I think I have the main ones. Then I have thought how likely is something to happen - then I have tried think if something is going to happen, what is the magnitude of the event. Sp tale POG - my factor range is 2 to 5 because I believe it will go to between £5K and £10K our oz in the next 2 to 3 years but could take longer. There are some like Pierre Lassonde who has said he would not be surprised it it went to $19K by 2027/8. So that is one example of my range and factor. I have applied the same typer of logic to the others. The key is not to try and second guess the end number - if its too large in your current view then the tendency is to think you must down play the numbers that got there. Simply take each factor in isolation and do the maths. It's about probability and magnitude. And it's all about a bit of fun on a Sunday morning.
Interesting debates !
My mere £1 within 3-5 years is looking more possible imho if gold reaches 3k p/oz and dependent on capex and if we secure Telfer/Hav 100% with a listing on ASX.
If we get another strike on a wholly owned asset on top then more!
I haven't considered a 10k p/oz gold value as yet as I am pacing myself...lol.
But 20p is not what I am sat here patiently (impatiently at times !) for.
Bearing in mind our MD's prowess at negotiation and strategic vision plus the hefty BOD plus all of the recent hires plus our opportunity currently and bearing in mind our world renowned and safe jurisdiction and prospecting fields plus an ASX listing bringing onboard more and more institutions and pension wealth going forwards...I do believe in my £1 at 3k pog if all this comes to pass.
The rest if this happens and all uplifts to unheard of levels...then yes....more if entirely feasible but not for some years.
There is an awful lot riding on whether Shaun first acquires the lot at this stage , is my thinking. If he does...then anything more is possible!
GLA!
I add here, that having spoken directly to SD on several occasions, he has consistently repeated that his team and far smaller leaner outfit would be able to greatly reduce the costs of running Telfer if we acquired it thus maximising profits of anything extracted.
Also as a financial man with a history of being CFO , he knows how to operate in a lean manner and will extract high grade ore first to secure FCF going forwards.
Not saying this will be easy or straightforward. Mining is not a straightforward or easy gig..just look at our lower aquifer issues and the current Telfer stoppage.
But high risk high reward.
Doesn't mean I sleep easily at night during this journey....but noone can say it hasn't been exciting and educational!
I believe £5 would happen but only after consolidation.
But with 5 billion shares, not going to happen.
We can't even stay above 10p.
Hi Speedy, I purchased £502.66 worth GGP shares May 2018 at 0.582p;
6 years later at 6.10p up 1,008% = £5,067.46
more years later say at 500p up 82,916% = £416,782.50 thanks very much!
And by the way I have it on good authority that lightning can strike twice:

Jersey - tis a serious poster tis our MH. If anyone knows them please send them some chill pills. Happy ramping greatlanders.
But on a more serious note not sure what all the fuss is about; it is highly likely that we mere PI's will be shown the door (with a party pack) way before this share reaches £1 or as MH would calculate 2 aussie peanatas 😜
You gotta have a laugh.
I fully concur Ace, MH01 does seem to get his/her knickers in a twist over anything that they deem is ramping. All the figures quoted, whether it be 50p or £5 are all hypothetical at this stage until the board announce in which direction we are headed.
One thing we definitely don’t need is someone telling us we’re all dreamer’s, because of, if this & that happens we could get to a price of X ! Anyone with half a brain cell knows these figures are unrealistic in the short to mid term, but if the POG is to be re-rated to some sort of backing existing fiat currencies, then it has been suggested by some far more knowledgeable than anyone on this forum, then it could rise to around $40,000 per oz. That doesn’t mean the world will turn to 5hit as a lot of you have predicted, it just means it has been re-rated to protect existing currencies rather than experiencing a real 5hit show if they fail.
BTC has gone from cents to $64,000’s, and the world hasn’t imploded, so why should it implode just because gold returns to what it has done for the last 4000 years. Obviously the doom monger’s and folk without a modicum of sense will try and convince you otherwise, but who in 1972 when a pint of beer cost 10p, would of thought (depending where you live) cost anywhere between £3-6 a pint.
MH01 just because we are only currently valued at 6p doesn’t mean in a few years we couldn’t be valued at a more significant value. I bet Jeff Bezos never thought selling books from his garage would be worth what it is today. In fact I bet if he would of taken his business plan to any bank, they would of laughed him out of the place, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s never to say never, because you just never know how things can pan out. And what’s wrong with a little positivity or as some of you like to call ramping ? Because if us investors don’t portray it, then the naysayers certainly won’t !
On the never say never theme. It wasn’t that long ago that if anyone talked of the possibility that GGP might one day own all of Havieron and Telfer they were considered by many to have lost their marbles.
