Mentioned few months back that if Frr really do have even 10% of the oil & gas they claimed to have had then why not get YA out of the way & pay them.off.
I'm not sure what FRR have to gain by prolonging payment to YA. As someone has said the money is due somewhere. FRR lost the court case and last we heard were looking to reverse it with court appeal, etc. Even if they win the money is still due to YA at some point, somewhere.
That the dispute would still be outstanding I would assume would be reason for the GG not to extend the licence as they apparently wanted all outstanding disputes resolved and finance ready to grant FRR an extended licence. I can't blame them for that and I don't see it as a political thing, it's merely decent business sense/common sense. Other companies do business with the GG well enough so I see it more as FRR not having played it straight enough with them under ZM and failed to get on as a result.
If either or both SN & SH dug into their pocket to loan money to FRR to pay off YA then we would be in a better position to get that license extension, get further funding and everyone get their money back and make a profit out of this thing.
Instead so much time and effort seems to be being wasted in endless court cases with FRR going nowhere as a result. Life is not infinite for any of us and it makes no sense to carry on this way. It would be better if those in FRR focused on how to get the field developed and get money out of this for all concerned. That's basically all that we all want. I just get a feeling that this field could have been developed by now already and worth a fortune if FRR played it straight from the get go.
I'd prefer a Santaman 2023 š¤š
Perhaps a Sanderman 1963?
Touche, hes a lucky man
Dulwich - given the spelling in that last missive, it seems you drank the port beforehand!
Whilst I share people frustraion at no news there really is no good reson to keep harping on about it. We just have to acept that we will not get an official update until the Company deem fit to do so. We can all guess and have our own views as to why this is - indeed I have my own theory but it is only a guess.
I do think we aslo need to recognise of just what difficult position the Comany found it self in - Its main active director and the on the ground man was up to no good and defrauded us all. Putting that all back together is not easy and many would have given up and walked away. We should be gratefull the SN has decided to fight and as a general comment he and the legal team seem to be doing a good job - certainly not easy seeing the number of juristrictions that are referenced.
Please do not missunderstand me but I am afraid and I quote shakespere "The wheels of the Law turn rather slowly" and then add in the Judges at times are not helpful when trying to get Court time. This only adds to mine and I expect everbody elses frustrations except of course those who work in the Law who will understand the time factors.
All I can say with some justification is the SN is trowing the Kitchen sink in trying to get The Company bacl on an even keel - He may not suceed but he is certainly trying which we should all be gratful for.
Winge over- time for bottle or two of fine port
Jv123, as hard as it is for us all, keep the faith, check out Jimslades update and me sort of reposting his wording on Nov 3, the world is in a financial war right now, coming out of what seems like drama after drama, Brexit, covid now even wars.
For a good couple of the early yrs of delist we got very little in way of info other than the super slueths. I get everyoneās frustration but we are where we are, canāt do I thing about it. So positive beats negative for me and keeps my hopes alive, boring to others this board maybe, but not to myself.

Nicandros et all are taking the p!$$. Itās hard to accept, but thatās the reality. The guy canāt even send out a paragraph giving SHs an update on whatās going on. How can we trust in a chairman who does not communicate?
While this non communicado state continues the talk on here regarding court cases and the continual shifting of dates is actually meaningless because we have no idea of strategy, objectives and timelines.
āA return to operationsā is just a statement, not a plan.
As time passes I am becoming more and more pessimistic.
Someone needs to rattle Nicandros cage !! Iāve tried and failed.
Thanks Looed, yes thatās my old brain not keeping up.
MontiBurns - I believe the request for a new trial (YA v FRC) is to allow the company time to prepare an appeal. The filing for the new trial states it its to "extend the appellate timetable" which I think indicates an appeal to this or a higher court.
I think the key case is FIC vs SN, which probably means continued radio silence until this is concluded post Oct-2024 (I certainly wish this is not the case!). Separately, the āglobal legal settlement agreementā signed between Hope & OMF was probably ānetting offā the Fiduciary cases against each other with zero effect to each party; obviously presumption on my part as nothing officially announced by FRC.
What currently intrigues is the YA case which was awarded against FRC by the Texan Court (having already lost in the UK court) and if the payment was made to comply with this judgment (payment was c.$3.5m). I do realize that FRC applied for a new trial (not appealing it), but did this mean that this judgment was put on hold until the new trial?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Lifeishard ā FIC v SN has a trial date of October 2024. There seems to be no new developments in the other cases which are waiting for closure / direction from the court.
Perhaps you are thinking of Mourant v SN? The final settlement in this case states that SN must make another part-payment before 1st December 2023 with the balance due February 2024.
Weāre all mad! And the bs on here is another level to keep the thieves safe
Hi Looed, I hope you are well, can I ask is it my old mind playing tricks on me , isnāt there a court date for November this year , so possible update or was it February next.? T.I.A

Worthless liquidation? HL seems not to be aware. As long as
I am there I have to keep an eye in case our precious share turns up
somewhere. Which Stock Exchange is trustworthy and popular?
Good luck with that!
Could we please leave the crazy conspiracy theory stuff outside this thread please?
Volatility is good for traders while investors get frustrated .
Today is Remembrance Sunday. Veterans of WW II marching in Whitehall
risked their life and survived. How many of them took a risk in the stock market
and lost their modest savings ending up as Chelsy Pensioners ? If they invested
in FRR the money will go to a good cause eventually.
There is life after death. Keep smiling.

We are misled from birth to death.

Carbon dioxide makes up 0.04% of the atmosphere, so any massive be rise in it is negligible. But big corp is using it to push scam EV's and telling you not to eat red meat. Biggest con since covid and the jabs
