First of all sympathy to all who have lost out here, the writing has been on the wall for some time, but we were locked in with no escape route. What I find as disturbing is the clear lack of due diligence exerted by the govt in spending taxpayers money placing contracts with such a questionable company. Having experienced commissioning decisions in other public bodies, the scrutiny exercised over "listed / preferred " companies is hard to challenge, despite more favourable options being available. Hopefully now Baldry has been removed, a lack of a "trusted face" will lead to the nest being harder to feather in the future.

The US Senate approved the 2023 budget on USD 1.66 trillion government funding providing more assistance for Ukraine’s defense in the amount of USD 45 billion and not less than USD 132,025,000 for Georgia.

Sixty-eight Senators voted in favour of the bill, while 29 were against it. The budget will be submitted to the House of Representatives for passing. US President Joe Biden will then sign it.

Senator Lindsey Graham from the Republican Party proposed an amendment to the bill which would allow seizing assets from Russian oligarchs and transferring them to Ukraine; it was accepted and added to the document.

Why would Russia sabotage it's cash machine and if European countries wanted to stop gas surely there must be measures within their boundaries. USA however has no such controls and although conspiracy theories wil be rife, there is a credible reason, either to sell its own gas to Europe or maybe to exploit a big untapped bubble somewhere. Probably fantasy but most of FRR is so far

We know that "someone" took FRR private "in order to be able to grow its prospect better". Whilst FRR have never been gushing with their news flow, the private status enabled them to be even more opaque . If that "someone" was perpetrator of that action a relist in the future by the new team would be an ideal way of wiping the slate clean. Not sure of the mechanics, agreements necessary by individuals to undertake the original status change and whether it could have been sole action
Probably all wishful thinking until all the legal and court cases are sored but just thought I'd throw it out there. If we have an asset still worth fighting for, geopolitics places a value on it but like COVID will anyone ever know the full FRR story

I'm not going to enter into opinions on ZM 's conduct but just feel that he knows what's in the box and he wants all of it fir himself otherwise this would have died a couple of years ago

Thanks to all those who attended last night and for the valuable feed back. IMO it was unrealistic to expect a massive re-rate this morning. Until an RNS is issued it was effectively information given in closed meeting which is now being reiterated on a BB. IMO Zaza went as far as he could to keep LTH in the loop, and is another example of the level of engagement this company has extended to shareholders over the last 12>18 months. Of course everyone would like to know more, but in view of what seems to be going on behind closed it is no surprise.As a LTH with a substantial holding ( but dwarfed by many on here) I am more reassured this morning than I have been at any time over the last few years.
