Nothing around to suggest it was anything other than the Euro crisis and shame you missed the dip if you wanted a few more. Not sure we won't be seeing more fluctuations depending on the euro news over the coming weeks and hope it doesn't have too much of an impact on market sentiment towards the results we are expecting. Keep the faith.

Disappointing on one hand but we know why .Held up again today despite the turmoil. Another day nearer and the traps are set, just in case we get an opportunity.

Hi Geckoman, Carlton, Fellwanderer. Decided to take my profit in WSG as I think it will pause for breath now. So have set the XPS trap at 1.80 just in case, too good an opportunity to miss, GLA not long now :)

It may be a win/win for you today then, xps has slipped a little further and most of the the rest is blue. Just have to decide what to ditch to create some cash in case we see 1.80, keep the faith

Even in today's market carnage our little XPS has held up well, if I was going to get my 1.80 it would have been today, so I'll take that as encouraging that I didn't , GLA :)

Finals anytime between 6>26 July based on last 2 years, but we had a Trading Statement as well last year on 6 June.

I was going to speculate whether market expectations are more of the same or just perhaps what the Chairman hinted at in the final line of his interim statement in September, reproduced in the last post

Chairman Mladen Ninkov commented, "The half yearly results provide clear evidence of the progress which has been made at Caijiaying and the resulting benefits to Griffin and its shareholders. The potential of Caijiaying has only just begun to be tapped with the recently upgraded processing, increased throughput and stabilized metal prices. The Company expects to produce even better results in the second half of the year.

mine too, and I share each of your confidence in this share. We have had a good steer on what the results are likely to be, and with major markets in Asia and USA, where the overhang to the recession has been less marked have no reason to think that trading will have eased. Indeed the latest announcement gives even more confidence in the commitment the BOD have to the long term. For me I'd initially settle for 3.6 and take free shares into the ong term, GLA

good news. I like this share even more as the weeks go by, and we haven't many more weeks to wait now. GL all holders :)

Just tried a dummy, max deal 556000, wouldn't quote at 500000, at 250000 ask 2.02, spread widening. 75% of shares in ii or Director control. That doesn't leave a lot for mm to play around with :)

Can't believe the short term view pi's are taking with results relatively close now. When this moves its going to move quick, what am I going to sell if it gets down to 1.80 to fill my boots ???

Interesting comment on your feeling for manipulation of the SP. I'm not surprised and take this as further evidence for what should lie ahead, keep looking for the right SP, GL
