I wonder if you are still laughing now........ You Muppet

100% agree, a lot of dribble/conspiracy theories. It would seem some on this board want and/or are happy to see TBN fail. which seems counter productive to the success of our shares in Falcon. From what I can see TBN achieved a lot in the last 2/3 years (The exception being average amungee 2H results). Offtake agreements with Shell/BP, grabbed Origin's share of the beetaloo, LOI's with east gas customers, Pipeline agreements, bringing HP/liberty on board and having sheffield onborad as a cornerstone investor from day dot. That you can take the bank and use in funding negotiations.
Worst case scenario and TBN did fail and went quietly in the night? then what? wait a year or two for someone to take over, then another 2 years for them to develop a plan to get the beetaloo productin gas (TBN already have this plan)
I do pity POQ, he cops some of these negative/conspiracy related question in the FOG meetings. There was a recent post here by some poster. Short of it being the Q was asked bout sheffield wanting to do a takeover (2023 meeting) to which he subsequently laughed and said nah. The poster implied the response to the question was it was a "wink/wink" that might happen from sheffield. When I watch video all I could see was POQ rolling his eyes thinking another average (stupid) question.
Watch the 2022 meeting and I see POQ rolling his eyes at some morew average questions..
One of my other recent laughs was someone talking about TBN listing on the NASDAQ?? Last I knew FOG was an O&G (oil and gas) company, not a technology company like Microsoft.
The apointment of 2 directors into TBN from shefflied implies he is taking control?? this is standard practice in australia when you have so much money invested? Does anyone really think Sheffield was not closely involved before then? I would be worried if sheffield through 10's of millions at TBN (and EEG) was not knwoledgable on future plans.
Seems a very prudent activity to domicile in the US with all the woke crap going on in Australia. Have the negative nancies on this board seen the crap Santos (Barossa/Narribri) and Woodside (Scarborough) have had to deal with recently? Something TBN have been very open about for over a year about looking at various funding options.
Sounds like a company who is desperate and has their back up againsta wall. Hope it doesn't drive them to make more ops errors. These guys at tbn have no scruples. Price went to 0.24$ during the retail raise during the holidays only to fall back after the close
The answer to what happens next Mr Wetwater is 'It Depends' The TBN management team might realise they have made a mistake and correct it themselves on Monday morning. I think that's very unlikely. Hmm...What do you think? Second an angry person might pick up the phone to the ASX and draws their attention to the crass indiscreet article. That's probably not such long odds as you might think Mr Wetwater - and if it were to occur it would not help the Daly Waters planned US makeover in due course,. Third TBN's partners and their advisers have a conference call{s} this weekend which concludes that they need to draw up their own NR {without the hyperbole}, have it agreed by the TBN board of directors and issue it under TBN's name first thing on Monday morning,
Whatever happens next I hope at least the Falcon board {assuming they are satisfied with the veracity of what Riddell sounded off on in The Australian down under last week} consider issuing their own NR and clarify what's going on.
Rarely feel the need to comment here but after reading a number of posts by Wetwater over the years I couldn’t resist. This guy has made so many outlandish claims about talking to this person and that person connected to Falcon and the Beetaloo it’s absolutely laughable. He is either delusional or gets his jollies trying to mislead some dim whittled retail investor. But I gotta say it’s somewhat entertaining to watch.
BtoB: I think everyone needs to pay attention to the last paragraph of your post. I have a contact that was involved in the early discussions with people taking Tamboran public in the US. He told me then that potential investment bankers were uncomfortable with Riddle and his abilities to lead this company forward in a manner necessary for the US market. As I mentioned earlier, this same guy told me that the 'promotional push' regarding Tamboran made it very clear that the Daly Waters group was involved in management and would be helping guide the company. These same people indicated that Riddle was on a short leash - take that however one wants. The AUX plays by much more lenient/looser rules than the US stock market which may be the reason Riddle wasn't particularly receptive to the move. It will be interesting to see how things play out in this transition to the US capital market.
Thanks Origin
Nice that it seems we're finally underway but agree with BtB re TBN, particularly Riddle.
The guy is an uber bull on everything so I would take any comments he makes with a pinch of salt.
Having said that, maybe this time it is going to be good - who knows?
Yet another month and maybe.......
It's quite exhausting
Mr Northern Magic one can further speculate that as and when the ASX picks up over the weekend or early next week the article that was published today in the Australian they may well request TBN management to confirm early next week that the 30 day test has now commenced and results will be published on or before February 29 2024.
As a Falcon shareholder I'm very happy of course that the 30 day test will very shortly be up and running under the control of the new regime. That puts a floor under the current share price and will help it to move up in the next month.
On the other hand one still has to sadly conclude that there doesn't seem to be any limits to the crass indiscreet comments that come out of the TBN management team,... and that means Daly Waters advisers will have to assess over the next couple of months or so what further changes are required in the new Tamboran {after its US makeover}, and that's of course in addition to the improvements in the checks and balances within the company that are required to help it better husband its cash.
That's great news at least we have a timeline now for the results - late February.
Just a short month to wait.
Sounds very encouraging!

Good spot Schlemiel, appears to be going well this time DU!
Tamboran Resources, which is plotting to become a major supplier of gas to Australia’s east coast and of LNG to regional neighbours, is excited about soon-to-be-released drilling results, the company’s chief executive said, hinting the Northern Territory resource project that has emerged as a lightning rod for opponents is edging closer to realisation.
Strong drilling results from Tamboran’s latest exploration campaign will bolster confidence that the Beetaloo region could emerge as a major source of gas in Australia, relieving tight domestic supplies. But it will exacerbate environmental opposition to unlocking the region for fossil fuel exploitation.
Tamboran last year began its initial drilling campaign, with chief executive Joel Riddle hinting that the market would be pleased by the round of results.
“We have well tests that we are going to be announcing in late February. We are encouraged and excited about the pending results of that well. This has clearly shown that the geology of the area that we have selected and targeting first development has the best resource potential in all of the Beetaloo. It has the biggest and highest pressure gaps in all of the Basin,” Mr Riddle said.
Strong results will bolster confidence within Tamboran and supporters of extracting gas from the NT.

Any idea when that was posted please. I don't have access to the article, so it's not obvious to me what the results they refer to relate to.
