Go Outdoors have bought it
Depends who bought it....there might be a small chance of at least recouping something here
In accordance with AIM Rule 1, if the Company fails to appoint a replacement Nominated Adviser within one month of the date of Northland’s resignation, admission of the Company’s shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled.
I would guess that it was for a nominal amount - like when Woolworths was sold for £1 years ago. I would be very surprised if there is anything for shareholders - the fact it has been sold so quickly likely means that the new owners also took on the debts. Good luck to them but I think they will struggle
Seems business has been bought off of administrators, any clue what that means to us shareholders ?
Anybody thinking of taking on a failed tackle business wants their head testing , and with the state of the retail sector in general including on line sales taking a hit at this supposably busy time , I personally think they would lose their shirt .
Gone into administration, Game Over
I have seen this before with another share, ...just maybe some big fish might gobble this up and a minnow will be reborn giving shareholders at least a nibble of a chance to recoup some money
You were right but do you think FISH is just put in the keep net for now or been clonked on the head never to be seen trading again ?
I did try to warn people in my previous posts but got people ramping it up . Stack it high and sell it cheap does not work unless you are a market trader with no overheads . Keep an on ANG . lets see how long £20m lasts when selling practically at cost . Share price pretty static but a lot more selling than buying ??????
Will be interesting to see if the staff get paid this month and what is in the RNS . Loads of rumours flying about at the moment but with the general state of the Fishing retail trade I doubt their future will be bright.
Website still trading and any rescue package should send the SP skywards.
So is that it then or is there a slim chance it will start trading again, all the fishing tackle outlets are still up and running, business as usual on the shop floor.
I may be wrong but they are still a trading business ? Shares suspended whilst they find other backers or decide to put in to administration ?
I hope they are wrong i am sorry for investors if not.
I was in wolfe last week maybe AIM is just not worth investing in ?
Why are ANG's stores valued 10x the stores of FISH? I'm ignoring both companies' online business - I'm just dividing number of stores into Mkt. Cap. and the difference is very striking.
Not gonna get lured into this .£22k sell ..
There have been issues here But they are trying to rectify. Mcap is ridiculous atm.
Time will tell , but with over 50 years of experience involved directly with the fishing trade i don’t think I’m wrong and certainly under no illusions.
Winter Predator fishing is big business make no mistake, not to mention fishing tackle Christmas presents but it is what it is still looks a steal at this price.
With the fishing season coming to an end and most of the club anglers putting their tackle away I think they will face a drought of customers throughout the winter months, if these are the results in the busy quarter then what will the results be come March ?
Comes to mind..
Not many fish about in the drought.u
Should do better tomorrow. A lot of us Catholics have FISH on Fridays.
I’m quietly confident this will bounce back, should have been a lucrative summer for all fishing tackle outlets, time will tell but looks a bargain to me.
