Yes it's been taken off blatant promotion
Hi Yesterday there was a post here regarding SERINUS ENERGY ( SENX)
Where did it go was it a scam or something. ?
did anybody else see it ?
Thank's for the advice everyone
Agree totally would like to get that dividend if only so I could say " told you so" No rush and no need to panic either way in my opinion would be nice to see 109
Looking back ( to the left) it has made a good recovery last eighteen months what was it 32 ?
Fgp have stated dividends will be reinstated within 12 month's. Do not think we will get anything in second half of this FY unless we get a special dividend, most likely via greyhound asset sell off but not holding my breath. The earnout special dividend may be later but you never know. What happens to the SP in the interim is anyones guess but II's in general seem to be supportive of FGP which in turn will suppport the SP in the coming years.
For me it’s all about the new CEO. First group have had a string of bad ones, with MG being the worst. I think poor leadership and overcomplicated operations and structure led to it being close to impossible for this company to implement the required changes. With the company now just UK facing I have more optimism but equally both the bus and train markets are subject to many long term uncertainties.
Hello. So far as I can see, the brokers have given a buy rating and they are setting a price target around 107-115p, so I would hang on for a bit of extra value. Covid is depressing the price, not by a huge amount but a few pence at least. I think it was unfortunate timing that Omicron broke out the same week that the tender was completed, so we never saw the full bounce. I'm setting to sell at 109p.
Should I stay or should I go now ???
Very hard to call this one I would love to hear opinions on where this S.P. is going . Had a big tidy up regarding this share tendered about 60 % mainly through being lazy.
I am in at about 100 so a healthy profit of 5% ish and try not to think of what could have been.
Good to read back at predictions,
Who was it said the S.P. should reach the tender price,
I am not sure what if any money is left from the sale,
A biannual divi has been promised , when is the first one being paid.
Nope there shouldn't be a special dividend if the tender offer reached 100%
Is there scheduled to be a dividend payment? due to the Tender offer being taken up 100%?
Yes - ii accepted 99%+ of my shares for the tender
Via iWeb I offered all of my shares so was pleasantly surprised when 99.7% were accepted, although the tiny amount left does look a bit silly on my portfolio as might just cover a tank of diesel.
Pyueck you may well be right, FGP had/has a significant chunk held by II's.
Halifax told me wb 20th Dec but couldn't say what percentage
disappointing I didn't get a notification from HL to confirm either way - but I tendered all of mine and all were accepted. Overall I'm down by 27% as my average was 143.4 but I'm glad to be out.
Davde, yes very odd almost all of my shares were tendered, around 99% of them. Not complaining as got 105p a share. Mine were held with interactive investor. Wonder if it is because the tender was worked out across all shares held by ii investors? With these things private investors always take up less than institutional ones so would make sense.
Pyueck I tendered 62.5% of my holding, all of which was taken with no scale back on excess you said you were doing the lot did you get it all?
The Bank of America RNS re holdings does anybody understand the swaps? I have asked this question before on another board EZJ but no response! Also the final RNS Aberdeen have they lent share out for shorting purposes as never seen that before either!
jamesgardeneriti: - "i was not suggesting First were dynamic".......nor was i!
As for a possible aid, not sure it would help with drivers, as the goahead/first area crossover isn't significant
I was not suggesting First were dynamic but if Go-Ahead are in trouble the chances are staff may look at alternative employment which would possibly help with driver shortage at First and other similar operations.
Also new contract may be required if Go-Ahead were forced to downsize due to their present problems.
hamesgardeniti: yes you could have a point there. Not on the basis that FGP are 'dynamic', just that relative to their sector, they look boringly 'competent'. So if you want a play in the sector, they look attractive as the best of the worst...
Nothing off Halifax yet will keep an eye next week
No cash yet from iWeb but they did say they were working on the calculation (surely not that difficult) and they say they have ten days to sort.
Hargreaves Lansdown credited my account this morning for my tender sale of 40% of shares. ( think now I should have held on to all my FGP shares... never mind)
pyeuk; good question!
per my previous posts, i think, the mgmt contracts on rail (no capital risk only KPI achievement related upside payments, removed ringfenced franchise bonds), mean this has become an 'infrastructure' play, where it's low but predictable/consistent margin are attractive to pension funds/ii's.
The govt trajectory (environmental) supports this - and i note in the recent update they state they are performing well on these KPI's.
Perhaps this could have something to do with the Go-Ahead problems.
They appear to be in serious trouble and could be ready to bail out.
