Hi Dibs, Dividend are obviously a matter of opinion and has pro's and cons. I hold Ideagen a software company. The BoD of this company has stated that growth will come both organically and from acquisitions Year end 2014 they broke into profit of I Mill on 9 Mill revenue and paid a maiden divi of (drum roll) 0.4% yield. In the last 3 years they have built the revenue to 27 Mill and the profit from those four years total some 3.5 Mill and the divi yield last year was less than 0.2%. They have made some 8 acquisitions in this time the latest being this month in the states. However the share price has trebled in the last 3 years and the MK is over 220 Mill which is some 8 times revenue. It may be that paying a token dividend does not hinder growth or impinge on cash flow but raises the company profile. It puts the company on the radar of those investors who only focus on dividend paying companies. I'm not saying that this is the way to go but I believe it's a way of raising awareness of a company. However I believe TPG will succeed anyway. Cheers.
Respectfully disagree. Its a growth stock. The company is engaged in an aggressive growth strategy at this stage of its development. Emphasis (however small) on a dividend policy would not fit with that strategy. And a token (or more) dividend would certainly not double the valuation. Reinvest profits into enhancing products and innovation, also perhaps further acquisitions. Thats the route to enhancing shareholder value here, not a piddly dividend. With a fast growing company the market will often look more than one year ahead if revenue projections are known and it could look cheap on two year metrics.
Welcome aboard ZuluDorn - like your optimism and I hope you're right. But in fact the share has virtually doubled in the last 12 months or so. If we doubled again we would have an MK of over 300 Mill which would be some 10 times the projected revenue of 30 Mill and over 40 times the projected profit of 7 Mill. All this for a non-dividend paying company to boot. Their was no reference to dividend in the accounts (unless I missed it) so my guess would be for a more modest rise, say 50%. Mind you a positive half year report with some clarification of divi intentions and another takeover or two and I could be wrong but I think we will need a dividend to double again even if it's only a token. o
Great results, should double in next 12 months

Sooner or later its coming ...
So the price action this afternoon was all about filling that hefty 100k order. Seems little question we have someone accumulating here. What a good investment this is proving to be.
A succession of sell trades goes through at 90p and still the bid holds. Must be filling a mahoosive buy order.
Given projected growth this year and next.... 2018 PE of 14 falling to 9 in 2019 makes this cheap at current price imho Initial target price would be 1
City Forex acquired for 6m from cash resources - no shareholder dilution. Immediately earnings and profit enhancing. 4.1m in assets. Looks a good fit. FFX goes from strength to strength.
Hi investz, I'm not to sure about the SP's losing its strength last 3 Months, it's often unrepresentative to look at a narrow time frame. The SP is now where it was some 6 months ago in the high 60s. but go back 12 months and it was in the mid 40s and go back 24 months and it was in the mid 20s so we have roughly trebled in two years! I bought in in may 2016 and I've doubled my money. The Revenue for the year end is forecast to grow by 50% and to break into profit. As the interim report shows a revenue increase of 33% then if we "only" do that I'll be inspired - and so will my holdings! However having said all that you may have a point because an MK of 108 Mill is high so future SP rises may be more muted but we can't be that far of from a maiden Divi - may be half year 2019? ' sths .
Thanks for your view. Not sure why you think 2017 outcome looks "uninspiring"? IST has been very bullish about trading and future prospects. 1st profit achieved in H1 last year. Further revenue and profit growth indicated in H2. Stronger sterling will have helped company. OPerational gearing means revenue flows to bottom line. Successful integration of CardOne. All looks pretty good to me but all entitled to our views and yours appreciated.
FFX lost a lot of its strength since November. Sp would appear superficially attractive if only by reason of the fall from grace. The year 2017 final outcome looks likely to be uninspiring and could unsettle further. Year-end 2019 improvement a long way off. Just the way I see it, atm.
A pretty strong bounce in this stock very shortly. On technicals its oversold and bobbled under the bottom BB.
MM's have been taking 68p on the bid all day. Hoping they're filling a nice big Institutional buy order They'll probably mark it down now lol
Beginning to develop some impressive brands. http://www.faireverywhere.com/
Been watching closely. Nice re-entry price of 68.7 Operational gearing means growing sales flows increasingly to bottom line. CardOne acquisition has been a resounding success Continuing synergies and cost savings from CardOne acquisition Double digit growth going forward New competitive e-products coming out this year
Really good progress across the board - The only question In my book is when's the maiden Divi?
Big buys
Is an Investors dream chart DYOR
Like there is consistent Institutional buying taking place here. This is an emerging cash cow and I can see the SP going in one direction. That said, there is always risk and main risk here IMO is poor execution of the CardOne acquisition. So far all looks to be going OK though and I will be keeping a close watch here because if the SP keeps edging up that will mean the execution continues to be good.
Looks a good appointment - company moving forward apace
How many times have I done that! Hopefully not with this though.
Thanks dibs - not my first time in here but as is often the case I jumped out too early. Bram
