Strange where the sp is today, a coupel of weeks ago was 1.26
TU must be good, was on target Interim update September.........
Think a few were expecting the RNS by now. Mark down certainly overdone according to trades.
This is really all over the place. The ticker ought to be FFS not FFX.
A year ago we were at 0.80p. A 50% rise in 12 months is, in my book, not struggling - I just wish more of my shares were struggling like this!
Wait for reports of our US venture - if it's successful the only struggle you will have is sheltering the dividends from the Tax Man!
Well High of the week was .26 lost some ground end of the week
Trading update should be sometime this month. hopefully back to those high levels of 1.40+
Why would this particular RNS support a struggling sp - if in fact we had one?
RNS this morning but seems sp is struggling today....
Anyone know why?
due around 18th of this month.
Ticking up slowlly......
Could well be massive. Consider that the SP has trebled in the last couple of years - partly on possible future prospects and partly on existing company competency. This announcement may be seen as confirmation of both.
The timing of this means that the next half-year report will give an indication of how well this is progressing and the full year reports (2019) figures will have the potential to comment on future growth.
Both figures will be factual and, if good enough, could be the start that makes us a truly international company.
I've been in this share for 12 months and I've noticed that trades don't make any difference to the sp. Often there is half a million buy or sell and the sp doesn't move. Would have expected a better rise after that rns but I'm a long term holder.
Less of a bounce than I would have liked but can it see it continuing it's climb back over the coming weeks. Still seems a bit off radar for many.
I'm happy to be of those ThumbsUp. How will it open today?
Lucky sods that managed to buy the dip today. Huge news. Nice defense for Brexit as well.
What an RNS!!- 10%-15% up tomorrow??.
This has tumbled, whats causing this anyone?????
Something must be driving this. Don't see anything....
Totally unnecessary drop today.
Yep. Tempted to sell some of my other holdings and move them over here.
It will be interesting to see how the company have managed GBP volatility.
Latest interim update was on track so hopefully they will meet targets and Boom......
In this market companies with high multiples (i.e. high expectations) are getting punished for any sign of weakness. If FFX doesn't not deliver, even if it is a fractionally off, I think it will fall. Maybe hard.
If you have a short term horizon then you're bound to be disappointed looking for a new high. But if you sit tight, when things do recover and liquidity improves I think this will be one of those companies which will move fast and quickly retest their 2018 highs.
Overall only 20% off the top isn't too bad in this market. Fingers crossed we've found a bottom but who knows...
Truro trading update next month, sp still at low levels below 1.20
With a strong update do you believe this can be back in the 1.50 range this once was?
Re my post of a fortnight or so ago. To double from this level in say 2 years is assuming, in my book, not only increased profits but also dividends - perhaps only token - but with this company who knows?
Take over target or targeting takeovers? Interesting times ahead.
Yes you raised some gd points, judging by the latest update they are on track to meet targets.
The current s/p is low and this has the potential to reach double by 2020 IMO
The P/E for 2018 is 23. For 2019 is 12 and 9 for 2020. By my calcs it needs 30% growth in transaction value per year for the next two years to get there.
The questions in my mind are:
- How will the current market situation play out, will the volatility impact transaction volume growth?
- How correlated is transaction volume with a weak pound?
- What are the big shareholders thinking? There has been a pretty steady stream of large trades for the last couple of weeks but the price is holding up ok.
- How deep is the product pipeline and how long will this be prioritised over shareholder returns.
The track record is there, it has the scalable platform and it's a huge market. Management seemed pretty confident from the last update in September, despite the headwinds. Even 15% growth and a tiny market share puts it on a pretty reasonable value multiple.
