Probably because they lost £2m in H1 and the balance sheet is now pretty thin once you strip out customer cash so another placing will be on its way before Christmas unless they've had a storming H2 to date. The uncertainty on this issue will be leading to sellers and a reducing sp

FairFX may be 'delighted' with the partnership, http://www.worldfinance.com/markets/formula-one-must-rethink-marketing-as-its-audience-figures-drop
Not sure I know enough to be speaking from a position of authority but why are these shares dropping and being sold? The interim results were positive and prices should be upward?
Hi Dibs, I am interested in this one. I wouldn't worry too much about low margin as they may get to high volume ( although that is a criticism I have of FLX). The results recently seemed pretty good to me. I like the placing at 58p so definitely on my watchlist.
dibs spot on, get yourself into dis, about to do well I think
Bottom hit..rebound time.
Long term hold here if you want a return but should do ok
I bought into the investment case a while back. Then sold out at a small loss because I had second thoughts. I think the problem here is two fold. Firstly competition which is fierce. Second is very low margins. Not attractive. But I will continue to monitor
Silly me-lost 55% on them and cannot see they will recover
these seems like a good buy oppertunity UM UM any thoughts
Seen price crash down-not sure about them Any thoughts?
FairFX Group plc CEO Ian Strafford-Taylor on partnership with Hertz Europe Ltd. https://www.google.co.uk/finance?q=LON%3AFFX&ei=kE1XVaiNE9GKUtXLgdgH
http://www.shareprophets.com/views/11919/video-of-presentation-by-ian-strafford-taylor-of-fairfx-at-uk-investor-show-2015 Sorry if you have seen this already or are not members of shareprophets, but this presentation was released a couple of days ago. Ian Strafford comes across very well. To be honest hadn't heard of this share before outlooks interesting. I emigrated to Australia last year and checked their transfer rates and they are very competitive for large and small amounts. These aren't in my portfolio yet but will definitely be watching them.
Have they not thought about 'marketing / discounting' the shares to the many clients that FFX have. The Ebola crisis knocked the IPO back - this is now all but sorted - people start to look for foreign currency deals at this time of year - tying up a possible 'interest option' on a purchased amount could drive the SP forward by initiating an interest in the company... Just a thought GLA - (a client and investor....)

Results here in a very competitive market! Drummond having successfully IPOd FFX now concentrating on TEA...big things expected there just as they have here. I expect a nice blue day here IMO ATB SMD
Yes good interview. The markets taken a mildly negative view. I suppose the jury being out on how much business this expenditure will return but IST claims its all within budget….. Theres no doubt this will give the company some very good exposure for the brand and following some big names previously. I'd like to know how much it cost them though.
Interesting interview out http://bit.ly/1I4C5nT about the sky f1 advertising and other advertising going forward.
FFX sponsoring Sky Sports F1. High profile way to grow brand awareness.
MACD lines about to cross to the upside. Could indicate a new rally about to commence. Certainly overdue IMO. Worth a punt from here I would say.
Just bought in. Showing as a sell @ 46.85p. Has hit the bottom of bollinger band in trading range. Looks due a bounce and barely above IPO price so happy to be in at this level in a growth business.
With such good news today 46% up for year on year growth and ahead of expectations I am surprised BUY's are as slow as they are. FFX look like a good long term investment IMHO
