Far more buying than selling, yet the SP falls. Strange.
Looks like MM's short of stock and bluffing it out. As usual.
IMHO. DYOR. GLA.
Just checked in and seen my name next to sells.... at this level not a chance!! I never sold any at .15 so why would I be selling now?!
Such a large spread on the trades today.
Thanks Quindell. All very interesting.
A relative of mine was at the 11th annual conference in Hong Kong - he kept in contact with Cliff after. I can’t verify anything but Ascendant have a step in Portugal so wouldn’t be surprised - Toral is way bigger and way more advanced.
They are a miner looking at stable locations, Toral is the obvious one for any miner out there looking for a resource.
LR said publicly companies were looking at projects.
Ascendant and Abu Dhabi fund(mubadala) 2 I have heard. Not holding my breath but could be great imo if true.
Any sources?
Apparently cliff sanders was active in the region over the past few months in person.
Don’t know what to make of it honestly it’s just a rumour - but does make sense!
Also explains why this SS is so important and why they are fine tuning to make it perfect for buyers that’s what it comes down to imo - they could have released it in September but why not do it once and properly.
I have no doubt it will be sold - lots of media interest and Zinc is going places with short-medium term supply deficit. I’m very excited!
Strange, but you beat me to it Quindell , as I was recently just having a look at Ascendant, although I did not know they had any connection with EUZ, so that is good news to me.
They are about the right size (CAD$56m) for a JV and have other Zn/Pb mines in production and , as oiltap says, an interest in Lagoa Salgada in Portugal, not far from Toral, in global terms. The latter project is also the main project that MAFL moved onto , after they sold Toral/Lago to EUZ, 2 years ago, although it is very difficult to work out MAFL's true interest in Lagoa Salgada, as there are a lot of variables in the ownership agreements which can move things up or down. Ascendant will therefore be Very aware of TORAL for the above reasons & MAY (I don't know this for certain) have had an insight into what the Toral SS says ? Who knows.
Still think Boliden or Lundin will also be interested too, as many of their mines are reaching the final years of their Mine Lives and EUZ would be the right size to "Swallow" for them.
Interesting times ahead.

Ascendant resources sniffing around from what I have heard....
:-)
I was speculating - he went all quiet and had a big holding.
For me this has legs for sure - change of land use, scoping study, extension drilling and infill drilling.
News flow is there so I’m happy with what’s coming up and we have cash at hand too.
Brooko selling up? Don't think so some how. The fun here as not even began yet!! When I sell I will post on here to let people know but it won't be for a while yet and when I do I expect to receive circa £200K. Pretty sure others will announce when they are moving on to pastures new..
GLA
Very true although trades at 0.116 were sells. Almost certain there is a large delayed buy becaus MM’s were happy to take plenty
They are big today. Wrong as the the trade of just over 6mill at 09.11 is a buy as the sell's earlier was at 0.115. Buys at 08.29 and09.09 was 0.117. That first 6mill trade was at 0.1175. A buy, as at that time the sp went back up to even from a drop of 2%
Probably pi’s like Brooko selling I would have thought
They are big today
I wouldn't hold your breath. If it's a suped up version id be happy with afterwards. The AGM is an imposed statutory requirement it does not hold much importance to the day to day business. You can't announce anything new there.
Would be sensible, I agree. Don't rule out later though.
The SS should be out before AGM IMO....:-)
Just to repeat
CAM worth $402M similar grades to us (quote MC)
EUZ worth $8.4M our grades could well have surpassed theirs by now
Lots to look forward to, I hope they've a JV line up or better still buyer

Yep, its the potential upgrade to Indicated, or even Measured status that really counts. Look wot happened @ Arizona mining after that happened..........! Current mkt cap is a joke in my view, but its currently the same all over Aim, thanks to Donald Toupe & the lies told by the BBC & the Guardian about Brexit. IMHO. DYOR.
Just re-listened to LR on the Vox podcast (28th Sep) and after being cautioned by Justin Waite about boxing himself into a corner with timescales, the words he actually used were, “Honestly, I think it’ll be done by October but I'm very aware I've just promised one thing and we haven't managed to get it out”.
Since then they'd have had extension drilling results coming in and given they've delayed to fundamentally 'optimise' the project, it takes little imagination to believe that they'd incorporate those results into the SS so it could be mi-November before it's published (maybe).
Whilst technically they're delivering a scoping study, it's a bit more turbo charged than that and probably more akin to a pre-feasibility study so should get some fairly solid numbers and act as a great advert for investors and buyers alike.
If a quality, turbo-charged SS comes with a resource upgrade, what sort or mkt cap would that justify compared to our current £6.5m.
Throw in a buoyant market in zinc of late and we're set for an interesting four weeks IMO.
Yes, it’s very important as time goes on and investors get bored, to reflect on some of the fairly obvious benefits of patience. Rome wasn’t built in a day and all that. But, seriously, the upside of this is so astronomic.
I think that Laurence underestimated the task of correlating the samples for the SS. In his interview on Sept.20 he clearly states the SS will be out by the end of Sept. but on Oct. 3 a post hints at a rather different timescale and the laborious task at hand. I’m happy to be patient on this, but expecting it any day now.
For those interested in such things the acquisition of the Hermosa Zn/Pb mine owned by Arizona Mining and recently bought for $2bn cash by BHP Billiton offers a very good case study of how a Zn deposit is developed, proved up and then ultimately financed. Clear pathways for EUZ to follow. Good reading for LR/CB as well ?
Of course it also helps if you have a 100m tonne Indicated and Measured Zn/Pb deposit, as Arizona did........! But, scaled down to Toral's level, it could still prove interesting to the likes of Mid-Tier mining companies such as Boliden , Lundin or Teck.
We shall see.
IMHO DYOR. GLA.
