Okay 100% speculation but such a sudden change in tack, could it be we have interested parties that want the SS data to themselves for now. LR has hardly made it a secret that he is courting suitors in the interest of shareholders so it's not such a stretch, though would it have to be publicly disclosed? Interesting though.
I’ve listened to today’s podcast a few times and without doubt take it positively. Essentially, because of all the extra resource and the desire to be as robust as possible with the data they want extra time to include this new information in the SS.
More importantly, and this appears to be fundamental to their decision to delay, I get the impression they want to almost go beyond a scoping study and produce a document that looks particularly palatable to investors & potentially, more importantly, buyers. Optimisation appears to be their key aim, hence better NPV & IRR numbers, which appeals to both those audiences.
Key quote, “Do we just say, it’s a scoping study, it’s just a first pass or do we look at things so we could really determine what’s the best, best way of approaching this for people who might actually want to put money in it or buy it or help us develop it, not just a theoretical exercise in what rocks go where”.
They’re therefore fundamentally changing the nature of the SS from the traditional ‘first pass’ look at the project to something more akin to a pre-feasibility study with the intention of making it more interesting to buyers.
That’s a fundamental change in approach, which I see as positive. It’s likely to be a blinder of a document.
Plus whilst that is re-worked, the drilling continues.
Progress update next week and LR said that SS will be “done by October”, so he’s leaving himself the whole month.
That quote though says it all IMO; it’s not just a SS, it’s an advert or more likely, a ‘For Sale’ sign.
Exactly. And when you look at the trades there isn't anything big there so far. Maybe just the one for £9K. It reflects the small free float. Hopefully we'll get the all clear to publish next week then see what happens.
Cannot understand traders who sell based on an artifact that is delayed on purpose in order to strengthen the business case for a JV or sale of the asset....makes no sense.
On the other hand it appeared as if the SP was being kept low on purpose....almost like being played out at the moment....short term traders on the wane and LT investors taking over....
Prepare for a bull rush :-) My opinion only of course.
And trying to promote another stock is very distasteful....
Smacks of balancing the books on a Friday afternoon to me. Next week is key.
Oh the irony ;-)
Fair enough you sold but saying they need more money is needed is complete nonsense
Good luck no placing need here for a while and when the SP is a lot higher IMHO...
Interesting decision but good luck, personally won't be selling until around .17 when I can 100% de-risk and have a free ride - at that point the mcap still won't be anywhere near what EUZ is worth in the long run. In for the long haul!
Would be surprised if we finaly break .16 is the next 2 weeks
Nice way of pushing the traders out and nice price for me to top up again.
*brainer
Added a few more again - I very rarely average up but with scoping study and drilling news due next month it’s a no brained
Replace quick traders with longer term to prop the price up 2 weeks how can you not wait two weeks people baffle me sometimes. Apart from saying its late i see nothing wrong with anything lawrence said! Infact he said there looking at other means jv ect!
This little drop IMO will make the rerate coming even stronger... traders who were waiting to sell on news are now gone and are being replaced by investors and maybe the traders/investors who sold or derisked last week and now looking and thinking we’ll nothing fundamentally has changed if anything it’s looking even better and will get back in for an even bigger gain so when news starts dropping from next week the sellers will be gone IMO
Couldn’t agree more - placing flippers still about which is frustrating but the quicker they go, the quicker we can move PROPERLY
to the short term, quick buck traders with no interest in the company. Nothing has changed except the timescale so will be interesting to see where the market sees as the true current value. Think it well steady at 13.5 - 14.5 for now. GLA to longer term holders.
Nab a few more :-)
The transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient
Crazy reaction - it’s just a few weeks! More time to input data from recent upgrade and drill assays....
News next week on overall figures I think, they want it perfect once and don’t want to faff around rushing - do it once and do it proper I say
Yes oiltap that’s what interested me! Some People are impatient so just let them sell.... lesson learnt for LR don’t promise a time frame and not deliver but I have to say I’ve been very impressed with him so far and I do think they have done the right thing here why rush to please some shareholder (traders) when they can get it completely right 1st time with all the new info they are getting! The same impatient people said he wasn’t going to deliver the relogging because it took a while longer but then look when he did deliver! If your in this for more than a trade this is good!
Could mean they will release highlight figures and their overall assessment shortly, then the full comprehensive report in a couple of weeks?
