Agreed, get it off the board, I don't think many people care about your share transfer arrangements.
brook I am waiting for an email from Anders_uk today.
You were going to take this off the board and on to email ....
Anders, I've just phoned the HL helpdesk again. They have confirmed that a suspended share cannot be transferred online. Possibly I did not mention the share suspension when I phoned HL yesterday.
There is another issue. I have been informed that they are not moving shares from online to certificates because of lack of resources during the lockdown.
Anders_uk, thanks for the messages. I look forward to receiving an email from you.
LL, I think it's best we both email HL and ask what the exact process is, we seem to have been told different things over the phone. From my perspective, I need to know the shares can be moved off your account and a new share certificate issued in my name or I might have a worthless sheet of paper.
Anders, will I need to get the shares moved to a certificate from the online HL account? I will check on how long that will take. The timescale may depend on the EUA registrar.
LL, the lady I spoke with said as the shares are suspended they can't be moved between accounts and she said they can't take any money as they're not regulated to do so on a transaction like this. I haven't got a broker, I think the only avenue left is to try and find one who will process the transaction for a fee and re-issue the shares in to my name.
I live close to Reading. I'll drop you an email today
"Anders_uk, I've just seen your post because I have been away from the BB for a while. The lady I spoke with at HL said that my EUA shares could be simply transferred from my HL share dealing account to your HL share dealing account, and do not need to be held with a paper cert. I think it will take three or more days to transfer the shares from my ISA into my share dealing account. I need to be completely sure you want to go ahead with the deal before arranging that. Do you hold shares in a HL share dealing account?
I think we could complete by meeting somewhere after the shares have been moved out of my ISA. I live in Lancashire near Blackpool and may be able to travel to you. Do you live a long way from Blackpool?"
Anders, sorry I have missed you but please do read the earlier posts on this thread from me.
I do not know Ethio or anyone else on LSE in RL.
Anders, if you have a stockbroker who is able to do this deal, that could also be acceptable.
I think getting the shares in a certificate could take weeks. That will cause a long delay.
Anders_uk, I feel it would be better to continue our communications in private, and I have now set up this email address that does not give away my name on the bb - st822912@gmail.com Please send me an email in response to my previous post.

Anders / LL, I would suggest that you both agree to cancel the deal as it appears to be very complicated. As you said Anders you would donate profits to charity, so you would not personally gain from it.
I think LL would maybe prefer to keep his shares now that we have a nomad, afterall he does stand to gain handsomely. Aimo of course.
Anders_uk
LL was looking for you all day.
Are you sure you want to go ahead with this?
Its a simple process if you're willing. Just call a broker.
LL, sorry for the delay coming back, I'm still working and it took a couple of attempts to get through to HL.
The lady I spoke to said they're not brokers and aren't regulated to sell shares directly between two parties (the broker does this). She talked about your share certificate being gifted to me, but this is going to involve a broker / 3rd party as it needs to be legally binding and my payment would need to go through that 3rd party to protect my interests.
Anyone got any ideas, I can try calling our broker and see what they say?
Ethio, thank-you, and best of luck to you.
Lancashire_Lad - i see. the reason they still need to clarify and therefore remain suspended may be to wait for flanks license or a deal sorted. Good luck!
Ethio, thanks for your advice. There is still some uncertainty about whether there will be an asset sale or takeover, but the outlook now looks a bit better. If trading resumes without good news the sp is likely to drop.
It seems that Anders isn't too keen on buying anyway because he has not posted about phoning HL up to now.. I think he may not be too serious about buying.
Are we talking about TDT or Suzy Boozy? Very confusing who he is half the time.
It's happened countless times with TDT over the years Romek.
GLA
TDT you were all over the boards spewing your vile negativity and now you have been basically shut down so for me your true colours came out and going forward what you now say is total BS end of !
Lancashire_Lad - Are you seriously considering this? Now that they have a nomad in place, the SP may be x times what it is now. Are you desperate for the money? I very much doubt the suspension will take too long from here.
Anders have you spoken with HL?
I am still happy to honour the deal we've made, subject to doing that quickly in the next week or so. We need a practical way to complete the deal.
Spikey I am not saying that Anders_uk is not to be trusted, and expect he will say the same about me. I hope to talk with him soon about the deal completion.
