Newbie thanks brother:)
Less choppy seas would be nice , hoping the good captain will navigate us all to smoother waters :)

@rowka
I was just using that as a figure that is all and you had mentioned something similar that was achievable.
Just one more thing. I would book a seat on the first virgin galactic flight as I have always wanted to look at the planet from the outside.150k sod the kids!!!!
180k so nowhere near a millionaire. 57p means mortgage free though!
Skip, good luck to you, by the sounds of it you’ve been put through a torrid time. I hope you make plenty out of this.
ATB, Pete
Almost 1 million. Anything 50p and above is instant retirement. If we hit rowkas £3 + then there are going to be a lot of happy people about that deserve a little help
GLA
about 750,000 for me, was retired last year at 63 due to collapse of Thomas cook! most will go to kids as I don't really need much, only promise made to myself is if over £1 I will get mercedes sl500, not new maybe 18 months old(somebody else can take the 30% loss when it left showroom)
60k shares here , so my 10k investment won't see me retire. But when your other half for 20+ years decided to follow two friends in a Thelma and Louise posse ..and for the sake of some normality lifestyle wise the kids, I walked away with the shirt on my back. For the last year and a half I've scrapped every spare coin and started a portfolio.
So getting to the finishing line with EUA will definitely bring comfort in the knowledge that i dont have to panic that I'm maxed out in my overdraft lol ..
No matter what bought you here, how much you've invested, the outcome brings a priceless commodity ... opinions!
A genuine good luck to all

Always nice to hear from you Ohmni. You're an inspiration. Keep up the hard work that is life. T
78k here. Would pay for nursery fees & knock a good chunk off the mortgage! Good luck to all invested!
Hi Seadogsteve, came off my faithful stead almost two months ago and while I recovered fine, beyond some new new scars, Black Betty (a 2016 Hardtail Boardman) is anything but fine. She get's me from A to B but her days of riding the banks of the river Tees and such are gone without 2/3 of her initial value being put back into her. Which presently I cannot afford as I need to pay off some foolish debt I accurred last Xmas and neglected into the Furlough period.
I have been offered 250 notes for her but I just cannot part with the bike that this dysparxic fool became a bona fide cyclist on. So I'm keeping her in anticipation of a most herculean deal and I can make a project of her:)
Still holding all 14254 shares and will only top slice for the lulz at should the SP hit £1. I'd almost double my initial investment and still hold a nice round 14000 shares :) And should this go for £1.75 my manager at work will owe me ten quid as I bet him my 140 quid investment would beat his yearly salary. Lol!
Tillywhiz. Truly that was quite beautiful. Brought a tear to my eye for real and this thread, to use the vernacular of the memetic youth, is comfy AF. Rums all round!
Invested on the day of suspension. Was just down for all that time and then ... BOOM!
No millionaire status but very happy.
Monkey70, I’ve heard that famous northern war cry - hooowwww muuuccchh ;-))
What a lovely board this is when the price rises and the bot-flies disappear. Thanks again to everyone who contributes & educates to those less experienced investors here. I've added each and every time I could since November last year. Average now at 17.74 so went blue for me today. It helps looking forward to what could be.

EUA’s been an interesting learning experience for me. Investing around £3k at 0.5p, I then sold-up shortly after the MT licence dropped and the sp started plummeting from about 1.2p. I then managed to get back-in at 0.45p but now with 1M shares. All good so far...
The last 12 months I’ve learnt a fair bit more though. Whilst I de-risked and have taken out over my 5x my initial investment already, this was done at various stages between 1-13p. As nice of a margin as that is, it’s also meant I’ve reduced my holding by half. I can’t complain because I’ve made a decent profit compared to my original investment and still have a decent size holding. However, if only I’d held for longer, that 50% would have been worth a hell of a lot more right now.
My key takeaway; whilst de-risking is wise, when you’re truly confident that the company is moving in the right direction, don’t offload too high of a stake too early. I don’t regret unloading half a million shares for between £15-20k, but I didn’t specifically need the money so in hindsight should have just left it to build-up further. You live and learn...
134k shares here. Whatever happens I'm going to give my partner's daughter some cash to help her get a foot on the property ladder and buy her son his first car.
It is a myth that Yorkshire people are tight with their money. Only applies when they are broke! Haha.
Unexpect3d, I referred to her as a gold digger earlier, I’d better change that to palladium digger hadn’t I
ATB Pete
Sorry to hear that Pete.
At least with the divorce, she’ll only get half.
Lovely messages all round and good wishes to all.
I’ve got 912k shares and it would have been brilliant to share whatever we sell for. Unfortunately I’ll now have to share it as part of a divorce settlement. Whatever I end up with I’ll get another house or buy her out of this one, the rest I’ll help my son who’s had a very rough 10 years. To see him smile will mean the world to me.
ATB, Pete
I have a kitchen sink.
But also a mortgage and bills to pay.
I started with £1000. I now have £1500. Give or take.
What do you do when all the shares you have invested in are making the same noises? Sit on your hands.
ALBA has the most room. EUA, GGP are poised. EML worries me but I think is just not as popular. HZM is a Nickel play that might come good. That might be somewhere I cut to come in further here.
Except AML, that is just wierd.
You just know Q2 results are going to hit at the same time and I can’t put the kitchen sink in all of them.
So, basically. Until payday, this is an exercise in sitting on my hands.
Rutends, I've got some string in my garage & I've no idea how long it is....
same here topsliced my initial 5k at 3.5, had 630000 now have about 36000. £1.38 is my magic number =500k split 5 ways 3 kids me and taxman. half protected half not. was going to move all in in new tax year but suspension thwarted that
When do you guys expect the proposed sale to go through?
It's a pleasure to serve with such fine shipmates. I'm the same, doing it to help my kids and others if it's a good enough outcome. I often think of Nathbomb who had to sell most of his holding to help pay for his nephew's funeral. And the gent (can't remember his name who had £140 in and was really hoping to upgrade his push bike to an electric one.
I really believe that even modest amounts have the potential to be life changing.
Good luck all.
Stay humble
Steve
