Defies logic doesn't it Kipperkid?
We'll have our day soon.
What's going on here? Well just have a look and see if you can find an example of a listed company announcing it was up for sale and that there was a bidder, but providing no information on who is bidding, what they are bidding for or any guidance on price. For 28 months. With three placings. If you step back it is extremely obvious what has happened.
It's quite clear its due to the situation in the Ukraine. Our mines are in Russia a country on the verge of massive sanctions if they invade. That's my view anyway.
The shenanigans started before the tensions with Ukraine.
TMS.......
TAP, TAP, TAP...........
I can’t find an example of what you’re asking for, TMS (haven’t looked very hard), but I can find several examples that prove no one should be taking advice from you:
Here’s some stocks TMS spoke about previously:
THAL - in at 2.14 not long after share price crashed to 0.65. TMS comment just before the crash:
? " I really don't see any potential bad news?on the horizon."
SO - 7.13p - Company no longer exists.
MadStork comment: ?"Agree this is undervalued"
SNRP - delisted?
"If this takes off it doesn't look like there's much stopping it til 6.5" it tanked and eventually de-listed.
FAST - gone?
"momentum alone will carry this higher next week."??EMED - de-listed
RAME - de-listed "Will look to add more if it stays at this level though. I'm expecting more interest as the wind farm gets closer to completion."
If that’s not a reason to ignore this idiot, I don’t know what is.
Deary me, still TMS doesnt understand confidentiality and NDA's on potential complex and high value transactions. Any mid-top tier miner looking at the assets would have a standard NDA signed up prior to any review of EUA's assets.
And these sorts of transactions, which I believe has a number of moving parts take many, many months to complete
It is taking many many months. If it was cheap and simple would be done by now, JORC delay is the delay I feel.
The buyers must want to get this done as much as the seller, in demand assets are no good in the ground.
I think everyone here knows what TMS is here for . , it's not that you would be wanting to follow his recommendations. He hasn't a clue.
Absolutely. I would be very surprised if there wasn't a stipulation in the letter of intent (executed before the due diligence started) that the offer is subject to confirmation of JORC on the asset at minimum the same grades as Russian State cadastre inferred level - something like that.
Don't find this in the least bit surprising. EUA are in Russia and you may have read about a slight geo-political risk occurring at the moment! When that dissipates the SP will receover.
I'd suggest you take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
You're pinning everything on the sale.
It's clear from the BoD that the sale is progressing nicely.
Maybe not as fast as we'd like, but progressing nonetheless.
Unless you think the BoD are lying, which I don't think you're saying.
But try leaving the sale aside for a second.
Look at the resources. Look at the valuations put on similar resources around the world, and by WA. Look at the demand for our metals and the response in prices. Look at the hydrogen deal which is very obviously moving ahead. Look at the JVs and contacts we have, with so many highly experienced professionals connected. Look at the size of our advisers. Look at the job our CEO left behind in order to join us. I could go on.
Now put those on one side of the scale.
And put the argument "this isn't how I think a sale should go" on the other side of the scale.
If you conclude that the scale comes down in favour of shorting this stock, then I really don't know what to say.
IMO that's a completely crazy conclusion to come to.
Ginger - Thats an excellent post. Kudos
