now.
Topped up at bottom yesterday.
sold some to poss balance his books!
SP now climbing!
Haven’t brought in yet paying more attention now price come back.
Mr 22k seller with 22 sells (weirdo!) is he going to be back today?
I do get what you are saying Justin but I still believe I can top up in single figures. Human nature is human nature. Who knows? I certainly don’t, just my feeling.
Topped up at this price. Doubled my holding as the negative news from the lockdown. They have virtual games so gaming goes through the roof. Look at the previous lock down . See this as a bargain and not to be missed. U.k. is still behind the rest of Europe in games rooms. Having started visiting them 5 years ago.
Fill your boots......I’ll wait for single digits :)
When we had last lockdown, so many share lost 60% to 80%. Then most recovered and if one was brave, made good money and also for divis in some companies going forward.
Short term 16p here which is a near to 20% return and when things gets better and it will 100% return only at 26/27p.
Although I bought yesterday, I have added today..
Always DYOR.
Just took a position for £20k i like this space and they seem to have a great model and should be a good recovery play I like that they are taking advantage of the deals with Landlords and getting into spaces that were previously out of reach. The Franchise model looks good too and the online B2B offering is very interesting and provides a massive growth opportunity.
Did well getting in here in single figures but made a mistake in going over 3%. I suspect a bit of vanity got in the way there. I guess he just has to sit tight now and watch this go back down.
He also made a huge miscalculation in forecasting a mega Santa rally on the back of the vaccine news. It never happened.
It’s going to take longer to get life back to relative ‘normality’ than BJ is telling us. All their promises, their predictions have consistently been too optimistic. Apparently we are told 16 million people will be vaccinated in the next six weeks. Oh yeah? Barely a million have been done in the last four weeks! I’m sure (no, I HOPE) there will be a gradual ramp up but it will be months with no physical revenue here. The SP is heading down toward single figures again and that will be the time to start thinking about buying again but it’s dead money imo if you put it in now.
Furlough covers a lot of the staffing costs.. it is a pain in the arse though!
Tbh revenues must be down and costs must be up right now. Get some normality back and this will be a hot stock again. But short term it’s going o be a bit painful Imo
Yeah sleep better tonight knowing that.
This time last year, Boris Johnson had just won the General Election by a huge majority and it seemed as if a new dawn for the UK was about to begin. How wrong we all were…
A few cases of some strange virus nobody had ever heard of had been reported in China, but few people noticed, many didn’t or just brushed it off as “just another bug”. As far as most economists and stock markets were concerned, the virus was “some Asian problem” and will never come over to Europe and the rest of the World…
That all changed as February drew to a close and Covid-19 began to hit Europe. Lockdowns became the new normal and shares plunged. Calling 2020 a rollercoaster year for the markets doesn’t do justice to a rollercoaster or even being in a theme park! Markets continued to collapse in the spring to levels not seen for over a decade as coronavirus hit global markets and the uncertainty and implications of what all this actually meant were really being hammered home.
Although much of the wider losses have been recovered, when it comes to individual equities as always there have been some notable laggards and a few surprise leaders. Here, we have selected a dozen “alternative” companies that have a varied company business model from a focus on Asia, Bitcoin, and Palm oil to Helium, the Housing Market and Graphene! It will be very interesting how this carefully selected “Basket” will perform in 2021 and all should be worth following over the next 12 months…

10p at lockdown
Brook - not sure why you feel the need to start getting offensive ie.calling me ‘classless’ and talking ‘rubbish’. Just because I’m stating a current opinion and I have been very clear it’s a SHORT term view and it doesn’t happen to fit with YOUR agenda, because yes, you have an agenda too!
Look it’s fine for you to criticise if you wish but I am permitted an opinion and I’m being very open and fair about it. No need to get personal.
Wishing you all the best for your investments and l am sure ESC will be just fine - long term.
Dibs...
No I don’t think one person can effect the SP however you know as well as I do that in a low volume stock if enough fear is spread it will cause the weak inexperienced to panic sell which will drive the price down which I why you turn up in numbers and why people start false rumours of placing a etc
Ultimately I’m in a win win situation if the price drops to 10p I will be happy to top up big and if it doesn’t I’ve got big enough holding to make a lot of money when it rerate after loading up at 8p few months ago.... I see the story has just got even better so would fancy getting some more!
However I can’t stand classless people who try deramp for their own gain.
I personally do think lockdowns are priced in but it’s an opinion neither of us are right, however hysteria of further lockdowns (January looks nailed on but will be the last IMHO) could cause panic selling but just as equally news on the AstraZeneca vaccine could cause a massive rally as this is the game changer in vaccines, currently GPs can only have a small amount of Pfizer vaccines because they have to be given with 3 days of receiving them they are have to be stored at certain temperatures so frontline ambulance staff can’t be mass vaccinated as they have to be booked in at hospital to have it the AstraZeneca vaccine changes all of this!
Anyway my point to you is if your confident it will drop just wait and buy when it does don’t post rubbish to try convince yourself your right because in a few weeks when your in and ramping it’s gonna look 10 times worse!
GL
Brook - just saying it how I see it. I’m not hiding any ‘agenda’ it’s honest opinion and you don’t like it. That’s fine but seriously you think I can affect the SP? Well that’s flattering but also, sadly, nonsensical. I wish I could but....:D
When there’s something more positive to ‘bring to the table’ you can be sure I’ll bring it but I don’t agree that a full lockdown is priced in.
Bob spot on mate, trenz and dibs your bringing nothing new to the table we know that lockdowns are causing us to close locations, we also know that the operating cost during lockdown is reduced massively by furlough scheme etc!
You agenda is clear you want in and you want in at a lower price and you think that by trying to deramp on here by exaggerating the obvious!
All these lockdowns are doing is delaying the re rate here, because they are already priced in hence the Mcap, I’m not saying we might not see a drop because if we have sellers it will drop but the sellers will have a limit and they wasn’t as active today hence the blue finish!
I would imagine many on here are open to counter views, everyone knows the impact of lock downs will have, unless you just dropped in from outa space. I think what some object to is, people who post nothing that adds any value, and have an obvious agenda , and just post i want to buy this cheaper. so fire away, what have you got to say , apart from the obvious ?
I'm always wary of updates like that - very fluffy - knocked up on Saturday to stem the bloodbath? I think so.
Listen, I do want in here and I do want a lower price (obviously!). Looking at previous SP price action and the operating environment for the next few months, it is my view that the market has further to fall..
Is this board not receptive to counter views? If so, that is pathetic - it's a discussion board.
