W have delivered all 12 repowered buses buses with all vehicles now in full operation in the city. This is impressive stuff and the more I hear, the better it gets
Has the first repowered bus entered service in Q 1 as planned?
We have a foot in the door here with a contract To repower 12 buses. 1000 batteries ordered would seem to indicate a firm intent by First Bus to convert a major part of their fleet. The potential for EQIP is huge. Not to mention our existing £13m order book.
Progress in the The Big Bus contract to repower10 of it buses has resulted in Big Bus doubling the order to 20 buses. What a recommendation for Equipmakes's technology!
In equity markets, transport company FirstGroup rallied after it signed a deal with Hitachi that will see it buy up to 1,000 electric bus batteries as it works towards is decarbonisation targets.
Equipmake has been awarded a contract to repower 10 open-top tour buses for use on London sightseeing services. It's great to see that the First repowered Big Bus Tours vehicle will enter service in Q1 2024. So a lot to look forward to in the near future..Within this order, Ankai buses will be converted from diesel to fully electric with Equipmake’s state-of-the-art Zero Emission Drivetrain technology.
Episode 4 of The All Points West Podcast gives you the low down on Ian’s journey from his childhood in Liverpool, to the dizzy heights of Formula One and the iconic Routemaster bus.

HIPERCAR
Edit
In August 2017, Ariel announced the HIPERCAR (High Performance Carbon Reduction), an electric sports car.[8] The HIPERCAR uses Equipmake APM200 electric motors, supplied by a Norfolk-based electric bus manufacturing start-up.[9]
Up today from an average of 0.0001 trades per day!! Just from one article or is there something more?
Any ideas how much revenue from these 150 cars?

8 bus conversions - revenue = £1.475M. So each bus is worth £185,000. First bus is likely to place an order for 100+ (possibly several hundreds). 100 x £185k is £18.5M. Would this kind of revenue push the price up much? Granted I have no idea of profit/margin etc and 100+ would surely get quite a discount.
Comments from a major customer who would be even greener with electric buses.
