UK gas carbon intensity 21kg CO2/boe vs LNG import average carbon intensity 79kg CO2/boe
Domestic production better path to net zero emissions
UK imported 63% of natural gas supply in 2022......
.....Hedvig Ljungerud, NSTA Director of Strategy, said:
“This analysis highlights the benefits of continuing to produce our own gas, as cleanly as possible, for as long as we consume it, to support domestic energy security and the drive to net zero.
“The NSTA will continue to work with industry to drive reductions in emissions while also supporting the energy transition.”

So what is WH going to talk about at the September 7th promo event? Too early for much flesh on the bones of Cloughton and I don't think the Wressle CPR will be released.
My guess is either a positive development on Serenity or a fresh UK North Sea or Dutch North Sea deal. They are not going to be spending the £5.1m capex budget on Wressle this calander year so an acquisition is likely on the cards.
Of course best case would be the Inishkea licence farm out.
US85 Brent.
Assuming water cut is stable Wressle remains creaming in fcf.
The SP is a complete anomaly with fair value for the asset and can't last.
@VL. Do we know for certain tha EOG are presenting on 7th Sept, as they are not listed to speak on the Proactive website on that date.

Unless they've pulled it?
If they have withdrawn, why would that be?
Eog should clarify this.
Takeover anyone?
Could Ireland be about to land. I wonder
It will be a flurry of activity if Ireland lands. The heat is on with the Irish government.
23/11/23 new date for Proactive according to Tommy241 on one of the other boards.
That’s a long delay - hard to know whether positive or negative. Perhaps timing dictated by having to wait longer than expected for some news to be finalised/announced?
Maybe they want to get Sernity and the Wrestle CPR good news sorted first before moving up to the Inishkea farm-in. Bit like waiting for a bus when all 3 turn up at once.
Well if he pulls that off he should get a standing ovation in November! Although come to think of it, it’s basically what he said he would do by the end of the year.
Wonder if the timing might be driven more by Wressle announcements. If Itsawrap is right about a likely 2-3 month delay to monitor water cut, then November should allow him to talk about next stages in more concrete terms.
They may just have pulled a deal off for Inishkea.
Exciting times if so.
Something has led them to postpone the event.
Highly interesting imv at the current sp/ mcap.
Why pull the September event and then commit to a November one...no, there is a significant transaction of some sort underway imv
