Lets see how many shares Simon buys😂😂
I am surprised, you couldn’t make it up. I think Wills plan is to sell the film rights having had a google and seen the stills.
I think a lot of people would agree that there is no point in looking for value in new prospects in UK or Ireland with Gov positions.
They have moved into W Africa because they see no value in Ireland or Onshore UK. WH effectively said as much. If it was a good asset why didnt Chevron farm in?. It will be very expensive and we will need to find a farmin partner. Years away from a drill and lets see if they can do a better job than their last exploration efforts.
You are in good company- have lost a great deal on this company constantly averaging down and am now trapped
Only hope was a sale but that is now ruined. More big plans, more confetti shares, more failure but not for those on salaries
The market has responded well???
I’m glad I didn’t try and average down this week, I’ve been a fool and a fool and his money is easily parted, so it seems.
@Bobbybee. Thanks for info. I know nothing about EG, so will need to read up to understand if it’s a good prospect or not. Can’t see a 30% spread on SP encouraging any buying even if people knew anything about the area!
Bottom draw for a year or two that’s if it’s not diluted till they are of no value they I’ll give them charity
Inishkia would have been better to push to drilling
Well surely been better off spending the money in the UK??
It’s dollars not pounds to start with. It’s also in instalments.
So we down on cash by 3mill now because they giving it to Rudolph
Antler's block adjoins the Etinde Block discoveries in Cameroon, and the Aseng and Alen producing fields in Equatorial Guinea operated by Chevron. Antler has defined drill targets across its license which are analogues and contiguous to those of the proven [prolific] discoveries in the adjoining blocks.
Drilling preparation is underway, and discovery by Antler could be developed quickly with offtake to Chevron's nearby Aseng platform where hydrocarbons will be processed, transhipped and exported via tariff arrangements through the Chevron infrastructure to an FPSO (liquids) with gas going via the Chevron pipeline to the Alba Plant gas facility on Bioko island for further liquid extraction and gas sales, including LNG.
It will be interesting to see the market reaction!
Disregard for all that has just taken place- europa is WH’s and the board’s play thing _ great salary, exciting and expensive trips, fabulous lunches - whilst wressle runs dry and fossil fuels consigned to history
Transformational indeed I have grown to hate that word. If Ireland or serenity were possibilities would they be doing this.? Too big a holding to sell - awful news. They are a disgrace
Argh I see Tony I read that wrong apologies
"more shares issued" - I dont think so, not in EOG anyway - it states a "cash subscription" for shares in Antler.
More shares issued
Unbelievable this share has been decimated
Lol searching for oompa loompas in guinea now.
Will shareholders ever realise any benefit from holding EOG shares? Another board appointment. What value will be seen by shareholders from the appointment?
Probably the only reason most people are hanging in by the skin of their teeth, it’s my only hope of getting a bit back.
Inishkia will change the share price in a j/v imho
And i wont ever buy back in . 10 years a holder - its always interesting still reading articles on this. There have been many on this board who agree that Oddie destroyed the company with a share dilution that was reckless considering the small cap we were .
Theold18,
It’s also a waste of energy posting negatively when you’ve already sold.
I’m here for Ireland, however remote, it’s still on the table, everything else keeps it ticking over.
