As a rule I do not invest at IPO (with the recent exception of aj bell), to little substance and too much PR guff. I would not have invested in enet had I known about it.
Most on the board have bought at many levels - myself from 13p to 60p and are not looking at this from the ipo price.
Succinctly put fair view!
Are the 33.15p buys? Tempting!
Cambridge123 is like a comedian the way he tries to talk this down. FPGA based smart NICs are ideal for networking functions and reduce the need for CPUs. This is going to be increasingly important with greater data demands on current networks and the realization of 5G networks.
I think what ENET have ‘delivered’ is to position the company extremely well for strong growth for years to come.
They have built up an enviable position and now should reap the benefits of all the hard work over the last few years.
To be sitting at the current market cap is laughable, but there again it was a lot lower last summer, perhaps £5m or £6m at the lows.
The trend is up, interest is increasing as seen from the sp advance over the last 6 months and trading volumes have increased.
I think this company is on the edge of something rather special and have positioned by portfolio accordingly.
I’m prepared to add more, as and when I see fit.

The last trading update was stuffed with facts as figures, not many co’s say they’ve got visibility on 60% of next years forecast sales in December!
ENET, imo and in the relatively short period I’ve been invested don’t do ‘airy fairy’
I expect any TU to contain plenty of numbers and detail, as per Decembers offering.Highlights below:
-- Revenue momentum with H2 2020 expected to be in line with market expectations (FY20: c. $2.0 million), representing growth of 400% over H1 2020 and similarly H2 2019.
-- Increasing visibility over 2021 forecast revenue with approximately 60% forecast revenue currently anticipated from existing ENET licensing contracts, subject to customer confirmations of order volumes.
-- Testing of ACE-NIC100 fully integrated within 5G deployment - selected over two major SmartNIC competitors' offerings. Larger scale commercial field trial now expected in 2021.
Will need to be a trading update with substance rather than airy fairy talk.... the only positive is that most holders are so under water from the IPO (given the dire operational performance to date) that they may wish to hold rather than dump... cant believe the chirpiness of this board given managements failure to deliver anything (except destruction of shareholder wealth and dilution)!
Trading update next week? It's been a while since the last official update (2nd Dec).
Not quite at the dallo level of commitment here but now at a very unhealthy % of my portfolio in my sipp / isa, best time to build is when there is no news.
Good man skid!
Let’s hope we are all well rewarded!
Couple of further buy a my side this morning, mms seem very slow in reporting buys
Not many Tier-1 server providers. We have seen HPE flag a complete 5G stack with a new server. DU solutions are immediate requirements and server providers will want their product out as soon as possible. With 3 involved I believe that it will be a race to deliver to market and they will secure access through Ethernity in the near term by contracting for the DU solution. I believe that they will all want the router on the NIC as to take the current version will be crazy. I believe that the field trials will be testing performance against a external router and proof of concept for up to 9 RU connected to 1 DU remote from the RU connected over fiber
This was, imo, fantastic news and just over two weeks away.
Not sure why they made it a RNS NON, feel they sort of **** themselves in the foot there, as if they don’t view it as RNS, then why should investors?
Missed opp in terms of investors, but doesn’t take anything away from the actual news
Ethernity Networks (AIM: ENET.L), a leading supplier of data processing offload solutions on programmable FPGA (field programmable gate array) hardware for accelerating telco/cloud networks, announces today that, following requests received from three Tier-1 server vendors, it has delivered its 5G Distribution Unit (DU) FPGA implementation on top of its ACE-NIC100 FPGA SmartNIC for telco OpenRAN trials.
A MM took the 10k and went straight across. Volumes are tiny. A couple of buys will wipe them out. They swap sides on pocket change which signals a changing direction. However it will take news to create any momentum. Until then they will continue to soak up weak holders.
L2 now 2:2 so don’t look like that bottom is being squeezed to hard! Looks weak right now, but that’s just the way these things go. It doesn’t change the overall picture here which is very strong. Undoubtedly we need confirmation news flow, it will come when it comes. Meanwhile the shares are in bargain basement territory, imo.
Cambridge maybe you are holding the chart upside down.
Looks like the downtrend is firmly established. Will it get to the teens? Possibly
TL was referring to Enet, what are you referring to? Or is it just me and my inappropriate thoughts?
Not that it is good Friday. Yes TL I believe that to be true also, it feels like it’s been a bit of a tenuous week for the BB but I’m still looking forward to the next bit of good news .Atb
Love a good Friday bottom squeeze
33.4 to buy now. Squeezing at the bottom with just one MM.
Every day that goes past the feeling increases that something big is about to land. We are in the zone now after being sat a couple of years with future markets. Now is the time that products turn into sales and plans turn into deployment.
Ethernity are in several field trials after being selected over other similar products. Commitment and deployment follow. 5G is racing ahead and the need is now.
Just saying 16m is bugger all considering the opportunity.
Amazing looking at the SPACs in the US trading at multiple premiums of the cash they have raised, in the UK as well a lot of shells with really ****ty little holdings in ****ty local IT / software companies.
Have every faith here.
The share price has stalled and hence here we sit at this ridiculously low market cap. In order to resume momentum we need news on one or more of the many fronts that the company is working on. That or a trading update.
Come on David, throw us a bone!
