That's one hell of a product.
JP, Tarana base node and enet

David Levi, CEO of Ethernity Networks, commented: "The support we have provided to this customer over the past seven years has not only led to this expansion of their business, but also to ongoing development toward a second-generation FWA base station node. There is clearly significant value in our collaboration with our customers, as demonstrated by this order."

Backward Compatibility
Another dilemma operators face is the introduction of new equipment, either as a replacement for existing equipment that is no longer in production or is installed for new functionality. With G1, operators are assured of backward compatibility for the next generation of equipment.
A good example of this is the upcoming 6 GHz base node that will be shipping soon. This base node will maintain compatibility with current 5 GHz remote nodes, avoiding the need for costly upgrades and truck rolls; further prolonging equipment lifetime

โOur collaboration with the Ethernity team has certainly made a significant contribution to our end-to-end system design," noted Rakesh Tiwari, Tarana's VP of Product Management. "Our ability to easily customize packet processing on the ENET platform to meet our application-specific needs has made it a superior choice over off-the-shelf ASIC-based switches."
This is the real value of Ethernity IP. By having it on an FPGA the processes can be updated with new coding. So while the Ethernity SoC manages traffic, L2 and security accelerating the performance of the system overall, whenever there is a technical jump, like G1*2 or the new G1 6Ghz release, the firmware can be updated so that existing base units can use this new capability. When your base units are 100m up towers and in the middle of nowhere you donโt want to replace them. ASIC switches are one use items. They are fixed in one functio
Tricky...
You guys all need to pay more attention to Skid, he has the most insightful research, understand the topic and company and probably has more experience than anyone on this board, me included.
All I can say is its good you guys are not gold miners - you would be mining and selling a lot of Iron Pyrite - fools gold.
Not necessarily so Fredelm , Tarana might be in the running with a contact for Enet it has a greater possibility after the GM this morning to announce, you see bread is thicker than water , I really feel here close to a contract further more Israel is at war and there doing the best they can .
This has massive potential with its tec that's why Tarana net used Enet in the first place it not all black and white ,, one 4 your sipp pension .
Bullish

Appreciate your thoughts, but subsequent to the deliveries last year to Tarana per the announcements there have been no further deliveries or orders announced. Given the size of Tarana now and its penetration and sales in the markets, the question has to be asked - where are the orders????
This does not make sense............
Fred.
Must say I have been wondering the same.
If they have used up the last allocation towards the start of this year and have moved to more regular monthly / JIT orders this MUST be released to the market as it is material to price movements.
The thought that they had bought hardware to cover for ENET financial difficulties with the firm/soft ware field enabled at a later date might not stack up with the gross margins they have told us about, if a material amount was in 2024.
I also dont get the confirmation received from DL/MR a long time ago when they categorically 100% stated there was no follow on post contract support revenue after the unit sale. If you look at Taranas external licence arrangements (on their website) they have a SaaS type business model for software (excellent for valuation purposes), I cant see ENET dont have a small share in this?
Well not long to wait for a business update in their 23 numbers, as I've said they have provided gross margin numbers which dont take into account write offs and impairments.
Well looks like its headed back to .70's for the moment...until contracts start coming in etc . i will be buying when we get there.
Remember this went to under 0.70 then back to around 1.30, this could drop but could move back up on little news
DOWN.
Your going down? You giving us a heads up you going down escape. Don't forget to pay attention to the balls. ๐
