ohmni - Indeed. I have been here more than a year and will probably be here another couple of years. I firmly believe patience is the key here. I too continue to add monthly and am not expecting anything exciting until next year. If people had researched properly then they would have deduced a near term bag was probably not on. Im still very happy with my investment long term.
Westie.
With your reply, it's obviously you who cannot take criticism.
Long gone are the days of All Quiet On The Emmerson Front.
Huzzar!
Seriously though. There may not be a near term bagger opportunity here despite DFS expectations but patience is virtue if the market really is a mechanism for wealth transfer from the impatient to the patient. Plus the fundamentals really have not changed, the issue here is sentiment which I personally find amusing as EML is my one non AIM holding and we all know sentiment is king in the realms of AIM.
And anyone reading this that is new to EML. Please note that to talk about EML as if it is an AIM listing is generally frowned upon as either A, an example of lazy/poor research or worse B. A lazy deramp. So given I have been here nearly a year I do not make the sentiment driven argument lightly.
However if you believe in the fundamentals then all you have going on now, for the short term (measured in months to this investor), is an accumulation opportunity. Medium term a topslice depending on entry point and long term? I personally think divis to come so long as not bought out along the way given existing LOM+CAPEX and even then the possibility of LOM extension exists to really pad out yon investment.
So determine your risk tolerance, objectives, timescales as well as funds and invest accordingly.
GLA.
TP/Jinx - Sorry no time to listen to or read your childish musings. If you can't cope with a bit of criticism then you haven't really grown up. Back to school now boys. Filtered you as you're no benefit to the board at all. Toodle pip.
The ‘what a crock’ was the inference that this is long term only. What gives anyone a right to tell others why or what or how they should view their investments? Who made you guys budget Warren Buffets :D
As an addendum, the Market is still very impressed with the RNS - Not.
A fund raise is inevitable , when would be nice to know, but since the sp movers of P & F are still 6, 7 months away, with ambition, then I will de-risk another 50% of holdings and buy back after the fund raise. If sp movers happen in the meantime and the sp hits 10p, It will probably make a quid, so no great loss.
Westie. I do not think you know much about why people invest. Since we are here, lets start with EML. IPO Feb 2017. offer price 3p. 2.6 yrs later 4.2p. Many have done considerably better, however:
Many cos have gone bust in the first few years of operation, but most attempted to do something, and failed. The co. that EML 'acquired' in Dec 2017, already had drill results at the site, and considerable information on the project. In 2.6 yrs the BOD have done various feasability studies to prove up the finances. Well done. Bonuses all round. Critical to the project are Planning and Finance. In 2.6 yrs , not a lot has been done in these areas. For the past 6 months, air travel would not be recommended, but Video Conference Calls are 10 a penny nowadays. You are very easily impressed with nothing. I suggest you be a little more critical, since, after all, as a SH, you part own the Company.
Before you properly fill in the complaints form you might want to read your first sentence again - long term investment - what a crock. Your other sentence about the long term was more optimistic but there's no way Westie got you wrong.
Some people can be so patronising to the point of annoying.
Westie, how I view this stock long term or as a ten percent and f.o. is irrelevant. Besides, if you’d read my post properly I actually give a view about holding long term. Maybe, don’t be such a lazy reader in future?
No-one knows the future so who knows whether this becomes the attention of speculators and indeed does become a short term hit.
The point as it stands is that the ‘markets’ can’t be arsed about EML. Why is that? I gave one of probably many reasons which is a sound and reasoned position. To be called ‘deluded’ just because you believe your long term hold is the only truth and the only game to play, is a bit rich and probably unnecessary. I’m sure you’d not speak to people in real life like that so why on social media?
Completely agree this is a company on making patience will be worth it for me I buy and hold.
Mr Jinx - you're thinking this is a short term money making stock? If so you're very wrong and very deluded. I'm not bothered about the sp until next year when things might start to happen.
Anyone who wants a quick profit, go somewhere else because you wont get it here.
My take on this is thst the PFS for the additional SOP & Salt resource plus additional mine resource considerations (as mentioned in RNS) can more than double the size of this project In my opinion, so a share price of £1 could be achieved however a PFS should be released prior to any placing as it looks like Finance & Permitts won't be complete Until next year.
I just wish "flexibility around potentially phased development meaning financing can be considered at different levels" didn't sound so foggy.
Certainly I think the grand old claims of circa £3/share are history now. We know there's a placing coming for Xmas, and I'm starting to smell one around end of H1 2021.
If we can get producing and realise £1/share I won't be too upset.
GLALTH
Not exactly sure what you lads are on about...long term investment??? What a crock...! Anyone buying at 4p prior to the last FS should have expected to double their money by now. The market just isn’t interested and it’s right and proper to question ‘why?’. Having repeated raises at <5p is a major reason. Despite all the bluster and pseudo disappointment at the ‘share price disconnect’, they still diluted at 4.5p. Well, if the BOD’s only value the company at 4.5p, why on earth would large investors think any different?
One thing Graham is good at, is spending money and today’s RNS is merely a forewarning to the next raise. It’s basically saying, ‘look, we’re spending lots of money’.
I do see the long term project benefits but that shouldn’t be used to temper justifiable critique of the board’s actions.
Can’t disagree with you GGG. I just feel any placing will at worst cause a temporary blip as finance and permit news should be just around the corner by then. I added yesterday but like you I might wait until the placing before adding more.
Agree Westie it's a good long-term investment. I'm talking more about timing it, especially when there's a need for additional funding. Wrt to a placing being priced in, this is rarely the case. The more people know that a placing is coming the more they sell in order to have funds ready for the drop. Just look at PMO. I'd imagine the next placing to be higher than the last one, but not much higher. AIMHO
GGG - alternatively you could argue the next placing is already priced in as GC muted there would be the need for further funds before the year end. If you invest here you’ll need to take a long term approach but I believe with handsome rewards if you’re patient.
Re today’s RNS. Sometimes you just can’t win when you produce a very informative update. There’s a lot to read there. The permitting hasn’t slipped in my opinion. It’ll be submitted by the end of the year. H1 is the estimate for approval. I guess there’s some who would moan if the company stays silent. At least they’re making an attempt to keep investors fully informed.
This is not an AIM company.
its LSE.

I always pop in to see how this company is progressing with milestones. To be clear I will absolutely be investing heavily at some point in the not too distant future. The project is fantastic. There's just one catch as always - timing. The company needs working capital and imo the rns today was to boost the sp ahead of a capital raise. It happens so often on AIM I'm really don't know why ceo's bother continuing with this sort of thing. The market by the looks of things hasn't taken the bait. Certainly not going to be a popular post this one but felt somewhat compelled to comment (as a de-ramper and all that cr@p). I'll see you all after the raise is done and dusted. Good luck in the meantime.
Testpack, this is a huge mine they are building not a semi-detached bungalow, it takes huge planning re infrastructure , environmental, costing. This is years in the planning and implementation.todays announcement was merely to emphasize that project still on track to just inform and educate some investors(This is a marathon, not a sprint). if instant uplift on shares you are looking for I don't think this is the correct stock for you to be investing in and a more appropriate trading stock would be more advantageous. There is no more an emotive or emotional subject than money and investing in the stock market fits that narrative to a tee.
I'm a holder here, but see the RNS as nothing more than bluster.. There's nothing in it, except probably moving back the planning from Q1 2021 to H1 2021 !!. Planning and finance are hyper critical to this project, without them, the project is dead. The phrase used was 'ambitious' targets for P &F by Q1 2021. GC stated.
'Emmerson CEO, Graham Clarke, commented, "This is now a pivotal time for Emmerson as we continue to make excellent progress with the delivery of the Khemisset Project and move closer to construction. The team continue to add value and the ongoing workstreams shall enhance what is already a world class project."'
Every day gets closer to construction even if construction starts in 2050. Stupid comment.
There's nothing in there except 'jam tomorrow'. Actions speak louder than words Graham. Get your finger out and start working hard.
The market was highly impressed with the RNS - not.
Sensible post Hillview1 - I've locked mine away for the medium term and adding as and when.. Permits and finance over the coming months should bolster our position. Of course there's always the cherry of being taken out but personally I think that's for further down the line.
keep the faith guys , this is an investment for 2021/22 not before. I have 2 million shares that are underwater but patience is a virtue, and if the company progression just ticks along through the end of 2020 without too many bumps in the road that will be just grand. Good luck to all that have invested however big or small that investment may be.
I think thats a very good RNS.
Its very clear and uncluttered.
They are very positive about completion of permits and financing.
The price should tick up nicely today now....
