Just doesn't seem to be enough interest in this share. Positive RNS today will very little result in sp.

Seem to have continued today, hopefully we'll get some momentum soon.
could do it easily and see 200p, look how Comptoir did after its recent post covid trading update
Its a very good point Tom, what actually is the catalyst that creates the change in liquidity. Looking back at Everyman's share price history, the company has never really experienced prolonged periods of large volume. Even when it ran up from sub £1 to nearly £3 over a couple of years. I guess that is unlikely to change and any returns obtained will be slowly over a long period. The primary concern for us right now is we need to break £1.60.
EMAN is quite off the radar, a lot of people probably do not realise it is listed. but i actually think with its innovation compared to other bog standard cinemas and sites, this would be a good takeover candidate for Showcase Cinemas , the real profit here is from the food and drink mix, and use of screen downtime to put on other films and corporate presentations
Hi Riley. I have a (genuine) question, how does a share get more liquidity, presumably through positive press releases which peak interest and push up trading volume?
I am also in Cine (as well as Everyman) and whilst I appreciate the scale / position/ share numbers of the two companies is very different the difference in trading volume (as a percentage) is very stark.
I've invested in companies previously where the availability of shares, buy or selling, was very low and often wonder how the price moved if no one had the ability to buy or sell shares. The previous company was a predominatly family owned business and I wondered if that was anything to do with it.
Sorry for the potentially nieve / uniformed question.
Very much feels like no liquidity is holding back EMAN shares. It's really something the board needs to address, but something they ever will address. It's very clear through the consistent insider buying that they know EMAN is undervalued. However, even with great performance, that is unlikely to change for a while unless we start experiencing more volume.
but for ffs dunno if even a strong trading update will lift the share price.

IMO this is a decent investment, especially at these prices. They seem to be continuing to expand and, despite occupying the premium market space, expecting evidence of decent revenue growth.
Another good opening weekend fr another new film.
