We’re delighted to announce that we've teamed up with Apple TV+ to put big TV series and film on the big screen.
On the 1st of April, we hosted an exclusive screening of the first episode from Apple TV+ espionage drama Slow Horses. The special event was introduced by a Q&A with Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, George Chung and Mick Heron, live at Everyman Broadgate and broadcasted in real time across all other venues.
Adapted from Mick Herron's books of the same name, the series stars Gary Oldman as the grumpy leader of a team of MI5 ‘screwups’, including Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One) and Jack Lowden (Dunkirk), who have ended up serving in a bottom tier department due to some career-ending mistakes. When the perfect opportunity arises for them to prove their worth, they don’t hold back, even if the stakes are higher than ever.
To find out if the British intelligence misfits ever make it out of the administrative purgatory, you can now redeem a free month of Apple TV+ on the below button and enjoy the rest of the series from the comfort of your home.
Looks like Everyman has teamed up with Apple TV

HE BATMAN Has Huge $66 Million Second Weekend; Will Hit $500 Million Worldwide In A Matter Of Days
It was another great weekend for The Batman at the box office, and the DC Comics movie should reach $500 million at the worldwide box office
interesting stuff - yes the main profit here and this is why this is such a clever play is actually from the food and drink, its also doesnt have the lethargy of Cineworld and its woes playing on it
Pleased to see the Cinema was full on Monday evening for the Batman showing. There also appeared to be more seating outside for sitting down and eating and drinking. Hopefully they've received some boost from the temporary VAT cut.
Should find out in the next month...
In what comes as no surprise given the running $301 million global-grossing success of The Batman, HBO Max has given a straight-to-series order to the pic’s spinoff series The Penguin, which will see Colin Farrell reprising his villainous role from the pic as one of Gotham’s legendary kingpins.
As The Batman director Matt Reeves told us on Deadline’s Hero Nation podcast, Penguin picks up where the movie left off in regards to Penguin. He said the original Batman spinoff series he conceived centering around a corrupt cop in events preceding the movie is no longer moving forward at HBO Max.
Hello Edinburgh ??

Plans have been lodged to turn part of a former Debenhams store into a cinema.
The Everyman Cinema group has submitted a proposal to convert part of the basement of the former department store in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
The developer said a cinema would "promote the vitality" of the town, which already has two cinemas.
Debenhams had been the "anchor" store of the Arc shopping centre before it closed in May 2021, along with 123 others across the country.
Bury WM Unit Trust's planning application said there would be four cinema screens, with a fifth for private hire, as well as a small bar and restaurant area.
