Debbie Downer here. Deja vu atm, few duds, few 1m sprinkles and the token 1m anomalous high grade hit. Hopefully the bulk samples will be good. Just being realistic, those results weren’t indicative of anything more than we’ve previously seen, but perhaps they’ll form some geological understanding from them.
Roll on next results and tweets about companies over the road.
I reckon bag with those nuggets in could easily be 10-20 g/ton…
Posting from phone…… LSE just ate a nice long post….bustards
So what is the mass of a whole bag sample and how much do a few nuggets weigh?
Wasn’t The News ……Relating To The Blackout ……
@ecrminerals today announced a promising beginning to its exploration activities at the davey road site within the creswick tenement in victoria #ecr out of seven drill holes, the most notable result was an assay of 23.39 grams per tonne (g/t) across a one-meter (m) span, with tailings still containing 4.7g/t.
ecr further noted that the results, as anticipated, revealed co**** gold. the variations in the findings suggest that a 'dipping vein' is the probable source. the remnants from the drilling, which consistently displayed visible gold, have been concentrated and dispatched to a laboratory for testing, according to the statement.

……well, where are all the Debbie Downers?
…….well I am “standing by my bed” Doc 😉……..let’s be havin them
……remember the numbers from 2019 ? ………..…..” The results so far have demonstrated significant variability from the original assays, demonstrating that the small sample size can overstate and understate results. Notably the original 44.63 g/t assay from the 2 kg sample from CSR006 (15-16 m) is increased to 63.03 g/t.”
Only just seen this as working... basically this was to get an RNS out and to confirm that they did find gold at Davey Road.
This to stop all the 'Where are they?' 'Why the silence?' etc etc
At Creswick, as all 'old-timers' will know they have to do 'bulk' or 'Whole of bag' tests to get accurate figures for gold.
In the video posted on X we saw AJ sieving out the drill sections by hand to isolate the rough stuff. This in the section he liked the look of I suspect. I guess the labs take a bit longer with the bulk samples.... but expect too that some medium to high-grade narrow veins will be confirmed as before.
The key questions are is it enough gold over multiple shoots to be viable to extract and will the results thus far (shallow drills) tempt another to JV and 'swiss-cheese' it.. going deeper too?
That's a good initial result .....4 out of 7 holes showing grades at very shallow depths (I did previously post that I would count a gold find in the majority of holes as successful at this stage of the programme).
As always with Creswick the whole of bag grades are key, but very encouraging so far..
..........drill is already turning at Kuboid Hill......second drill site......."Alongside this, the second phase of the Company's drilling programme in Creswick (at Kuboid Hill) is ongoing and further announcements will be made in due course."
……..more to come!…… https://x.com/dds_docholiday/status/1754445993464963262?s=46
GOLD
…..spot on cash……question is what, does it involve the tax benefit, JV ?…..it will be interesting to what develops and what effect each scenario has on the SP
Working On A Deal ….I Suspect ….Hence Blackout …..
.......#guys
……jez, are you guy not putting a lot of pressure on Ant and Dec to deliver on the next RNS…..😉😂😂
……😉
Mental,
I don't think anyone is saying any one thing is a sure thing or signed off, however it is unusual for the BOD to go this quiet on all fronts for a week or so and this does correspond with Nick's return from the trip.
They could be figuring out how to deal with poor drilling results or there could be positive results and Nick's trip has a more pointed purpose than just going to see the troops in the field.
I guess we will find out either way in the coming days/weeks.
For those who remember, this was the exact conversation we all had awaiting the fabled Creswick results a few years ago.. Silence just HAD to mean they were bonanza grades and a JV was a sure thing.. Tread with caution and be pleasantly surprised IMO.
They may just have nothing material to say while they wait.
Yeah the silence is deafening! With the full on, front foot approach since the new team took over it's highly unlikely that they have just run out of things to convey to the market.
They must be discussing/negotiating/working on something worth their full attention to just go silent, and would expect the next price sensitive RNS to be significant.
Nick Tulloch wouldn't have just gone to Aus on a jolly up in the warm weather without having good reason to.
Exciting times for ECR.
Good assessment TS. Given their 'communication skills' the silence is surely deliberate... and by that I mean it is not down to a lazy attitude or 'couldn't care less' stance so at least we 'know' that.
So , we can expect Creswick Davey Hill drilling results shortly after the holidays (It's now Feb).
Has the phase 2 drilling started at Cuboid Hill? Is it completed?
And those REE results from Lolworth that we were waiting for in December....What happened to them?
The great communication seems to have come to a halt all of a sudden.
*Perhaps they are re-evaluating following Nick's visit (one of those meetings may have changed plans)
* Perhaps Davey Road results were a bust and they are figuring out howw to deliver the news.
* Perhaps Davey Road results were strong and they are trying to line up a runway of Davey, REE, Deal (and tax credits?) news to come out in quick succession to really boost the SP.
* Perhaps they have done a deal on the Tax Credits and are re-evaluating a ramped up programme of works at both Lolworth and Victoria.
Time to stop talking about the neighbours (unless we are doing a deal with one of them) and give some updates on the REE, Davey Hill and Cuboid Hill fronts, even if it's just expected timelines.
