With the two sales 8/5/17 & 7/6/17 reducing the loss a little , looks like I lost £5,325 here.
Unfortunately made four top ups after the two sales last buy on 25/10/17 for 55p others 158p to 90p.
Then after not taking rights up April 2018 .
Topped up again on 23/10/18 for 7.5p
An example of throwing good money after bad .
No noteS on Barc .
This the last RNS.
6 January 2020
Defenx PLC
("Defenx", the "Company" or the "Group")

Further to the Company's announcement of 4 December 2019, and subsequent approval by Shareholders of the Cancellation at the General Meeting on 20 December 2019, the Company confirms that admission to trading on AIM of the Company's Ordinary Shares will be cancelled at 7.00 a.m. tomorrow, 7 January 2020.
Result of Exit Opportunity
The Company has also been informed by BV Tech that, further to BV Tech's announcement of 4 December 2019 regarding the Exit Opportunity, which closed at 1.00 p.m. today, BV Tech has purchased, in aggregate, 8,070,059 Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Exit Opportunity and is now interested in a total of 34,034,909 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 87.9 per cent. of the existing issued Ordinary Shares and voting rights in the Company.
Further details of the Cancellation are set out in the Circular posted to shareholders and available on the Company's website at https://investors.defenx.com.
First transaction 24/8/16 115p
Last transaction Sell GBX 0... 7/8/23 .
A repeat of 9/9/20..... Buy and Sell GBX 0. ( Some sort of gone bust , but was a low offer / take over maybe )
Maybe taken private .
Ten real ones with monies exchanged , 8 buys , 2 sells.
Odd this share came up as first one when I looked at trade history over past year from 1/4/23 to 31/3/24
517 of them.
But on further look does have 9/9/20 as transaction date, it remains at bottom of last page even when you move start of search back to 1/11/22 then joined by others with previous dates . all GBX 0.00
One HMSO still trading , have this note on that one , "SHARE NUMBERS FROM 20/9/2020 ADD UP . Some sort of CA dept 2020.
DFX History shows.
07/08/2023 Sell GBX 0.00
09/09/2020 Sell GBX 0.00
09/09/2020 Buy GBX 0.00
fair punt at 3p. No loss and might be a higher offer as I am sure those who bought at dozens of times higher will be asking.
An early punter today at 0.88 had a result!

How do we opt into the exit option ? I’ve read it a few time’s but it’s not clear ... do we just sell as normal or contact our broker ?

30k and 15k .....I am dubious Btech would buy at this stage. I reckon it’s someone building a stake for some reason.

Same here im also in at 17p
I'm guessing BVTEch are buying those shares today . this exit offer is valid unitl 4th Jan. So if Delist is approved on 20th Dec at GM we can still then sell at 3p right unitl 4th Jan right? or a better price if Delisting NOT approved?
I'm in at 17p here - **** shafted.

Will consider returning on positive news but the continued drift down I fear is likely to continue for the next few weeks.

To be fair the spread was over 25% here .
No?
MPAYs spread is 25%. That’s ridiculous. Buy and sell you need 50% to break even
If you look back 25/26/27/ we was telling every one.
PYC could certainly be the next one.
What on Earth? How is this even possible. Anymore know where the next one is coming? Want to make a bob or two!! Cheers
Massive short squeeze if rejected.
so what happens if the vote gets rejected? could that take the share price higher?

What if we pile in now? Can we buy today and sell at 3p?
i sold my holding 145101 shares at 0.70 yesterday and lost £8k.

I will take it. I agree that long termers have been stitched up. I will lose on my previous holding but get treble on the 1p buy so not so bad.
3p a share is not 'well played' unless you mean shareholders got well played and in that context you are correct
itisagame is correct - it is 75% of the votes counted.
So, as soon as the date for the General Meeting is announced you should contact your broker or agent or whoever you use to buy/sell shares. They can either arrange for your General Meeting invite OR have them vote by proxy on your behalf.
Doing nothing is going to favour the delisting.
It’s 75% of VOTES CAST at the GM. So If only BV vote they will have 100% of votes cast.
Basically You need ~9.6m shares between you to ensure that you stop it.
So How many shares do you all own combined?
Been down this road a few times on various shares.
"The odds of the board not finding another 8% is virtually nil IMO."
BVT own 67.1% of Defenx and Stecconi (the founder) owns 2.58%, so together: 69.68%. They are the only shareholders with >3% share holding so they are over 5% short of what they want to do even if they act together. The only way they will secure 75% is if PIs vote for it. There is no apparent incentive for any PI to vote for it, either individually or collectively. This share was 8p a year ago and 130p two years ago. Apart from the recent penny share-buying types most long-term investors are going to get slaughtered if they agree to sell at current rates. BVT will need to make a buyback offer at a rate that would enable them to get to the 75%, otherwise they cannot delist.
"It would require at least 25.1% of remaining shareholders to make the effort to vote, and given the bulk of those are gamblers I can't see it myself."
Nobody needs to make the effort to vote. They need 75% positive votes to delist. Those who vote against, or not at all, stop the 75% being achieved.
"It is interesting that the % is still the same, so they are not buying on the open market? Which is kind of odd and you can kind of assume they know they have 75% or they would be buying on the open market at this low price?"
A company can only buy shares on the open market with explicit authority from its shareholders, usually at its AGM. That's why AIM and other stock markets are regulated, else companies could undermine PIs by covertly acquiring majority shareholding on the cheap at PIs' expense. You don't sound very knowledgeable on the basics of stock markets. I'd be very careful if I were you.

Lots of buys going through now.
Yep nomad would have issued one for sure especially as they gave notice to delist
And who will want to be out over the weekend just in case Rns drops Monday am. Surprising thing is theres been no speeding ticket yet.
Somethings going on for sure imagine volume
yep all adding up now they only have 72% between so not enough to delist
Last post: iaintgotaclu, 21 Nov 2019 18:45
Why is that
Do you lot own 9.6m shares between you yet?

I wonder if at the tiny prices whether BV Tech now owns 67.1% of Defenx they would just take em out it would only cost £100k and they would own it lock stock and Barrell maybe that's why there is a delay and radio silence
that's what we are waiting for the circulars to be posted nothing has been formalised yet except the intention to delist that's why it a great price down here
How much notice should we get for the general meeting? And how should we be able to register our vote?
Weird silence for 2 days
Yep they dont want buys do they
The PUNT was IMO around the 1.20 or below mark.
Incredible to see buys way above 2 after a 100% rise - against possible speeding ticket AND RNS indicating delisting.
Lets see
GLA
LB, people are hedging on a chance that the delisting doesn't go ahead and that some terms have been arranged. On that presumption, yes I can understand a small bet, It's not like it's not happened before with a last minute "Save",.. the risk just outweighs the reward... for me anyway. I hope it works out for those who bought today!
RNS required for this to go any further, it's strange that a speeding ticket hasn't been raised yet!
Agree with uNkwnTrader here... too risky. Spread is silly, no reason for rise!
Not doing it, good luck all, laters.
Was going to buy this the other day after the massive drop, did some research and you will know why I didn't buy but what has changed then?

dont think i have a chance of getting my average back :(
My thinking only its a ploy to buying time i do not feel at all these will go off the stock market.
The advisor was due to leave on the 14th in which case had they left the shates would have been suspended any way
BVT own 67.1% of Defenx and Stecconi owns 2.58%, so together: 69.68%. They are the only shareholders with >3% share holding so they are over 5% short of what they need to do that even if they act together.
lets blacklist the company and directors loudly. This is robbery and illegal.
Enzo was the nomad suppose to quit yesterday? As per RNS have DFX brought time inorder to sort out issues Hence purposal to delist with Nomad still on board?
@5h4k35p34r3 67.1% to 75% isn't much. Andrea stecconi owns 4.72% and he probably would vote to delist too. If he does then that's 71.82% already. No idea how other directors/insiders would vote but wouldn't take many more to push this to 75% and then us PIs are shafted. Even worse they didn't even state a reason to delist, shows how much they care, as long as they can line they own pockets while fleecing us minnows! Hope for long term holders sake it isn't delisted as this isn't looking good.
@allahu that doesn't make sense, are you suggesting dfx is considering delist due to nomad resignation?? don't see the point in that.
I’ve been in and out of this for the last 2 years, made some money and lost some too. But either way I’ve followed the story, and to be honest they have steadied the ship but still not breaking even. I believe BV Techs intention has been good but too many skeletons in the closet. The only advantage of being listed is to raise cash through equity, but given that BVT are funding, loaning and buying shares they don’t need to list, especially when operating at a loss and listing in an unnecessary cost. Taki N it private essentially gives them full control without buying more shares and reduces overheads.
Brought in as i think there is more to this
I think there is more than meets the eye here the Nomad was going to resign yesterday and the shares would have automaticaaly been suspended hence not happing unto 2020

Tony reeves at it again, cloudtag, Dfx and the other one the staff agency, can’t remember name
Yes indeed. What was the last placing? 8p if I remember . The price then soared more than treble and I got over 30p. Still got some...almost worthless now of course. Robbery
2 quid to buy 2 years ago...…..... now half a penny to sell...…. the worst of AIM. B
said this was going to happen earlier in the year , and the board were complicit by letting BV tech accumulate to take it private.
This is getting too common now on the market. Fleece shareholders then take private. Debinhams . Thomas cook bon march carpet right. The list goes on. Legalised crime
