This is theft. Nothing more.
They can find regular and ample funding during research phase.
The moment they achieve a degree of promise based on works and research, no one wants to finance them???
Really?
Anyone can unplug the fridge to destroy the contents.
The trouble is now Oxford can take the micro x platform as payment

Thanks for your true empathy.
F*** me I did not expect this.
Glad u have some left!!!
I had £450k once. 2014. Slogged 42 years out and made bits. Lost it all in 2016 to £1500. Truth. A restructuring gave me some back….assers frozen by creditor but not admin. That’s harder
£19k left . If Duncan wanted, he could fight for it back. The last q and a showed me he doesn’t give a hoot though.
https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-8971/
He could donit
But does he carexenough???
Re Sang. Do not forget. He is only interested in himself. Clear as day. Nothing to do with rhetoric. To do with integrity. It is absent. I have no chip on shoulder..just discovered this fast. Up 2 u but you’ll find out too.
I feel for you man
Florest. You are a good man. Nah. I’m just floored. Totally gutted. Had a rough enough life so suffering is nothing new, trust me. My savings gave us choices though. Now gone.Totally my Jiu responsibility.
I’m happy to communicate with Interpath. It’s my speciality tbh. The law, banks, , brokers, Ombudsman, FCA…..constantly involved as am in local politics.
But only if it is what people want.
This here is disgusting, but each party knows they can get away with it. Which is why they are doing it. Duncan may-should it be sold-buy it back himself or in a consortium. All planned, I have no doubt. The duplicity is mind-blowing.
This investing is hard work
You can get wiped out really fast.
I turned 50k into 400k and the company got suspended last year.
Luckily it came back and I got 120k out fast
I’m now down to 58k from a few bad decisions and current market conditions
Wish me luck
I will need it
Well said Boonco.
Taverham, I vote Sangi, not matter what you think of his rhetoric he/she was correct more often than not.
CRL, really feeling for you tonight, it's not over and the key is in your last post, you managed to help buy your kids first home, all I want for mine are to be in a better position than I was, sound like you've done it. Hope you're not alone, say if you are.
I know I’ve needled you at times for some of the things you have said on here crl but honestly mate I wouldn’t give up hope just yet.
The small sticky finance situation aside 4D has a a lot going for it and entering into admin isn’t automatically end game. Given the potential 4D is sat on you have to think the business can be reasonably saved whether that’s 4D less a couple of assets or the whole business sold to another company as a going concern. Although it could take longer I’ll be surprised if we’re waiting longer than 8-12 weeks to learn of our fate, 6 months tops. Admin automatically ends after 1 year.
I think the administrators could salvage the company by selling some of the pipeline but will they bother to push for a good price or just go for easy options?
If knowledgeable Investors formed an action group and engaged the administrator with a plan to pay OF through selected asset sales it might be difficult to ignore.HOw about SAnj or Porky taking a lead?
Ab
I have about £19k in a SIPP
Retired already
No income-health issue. 2 years off state pension.
It’ll just have to get me by until then really.
Lost pretty much everything here and Ncyt.
Of course my fault. But it’s done. I averaged down from the £1.10p Placing.
They have really taken us for cannon fodder here. Zero morality.
I don’t know whether to believe people who say they have lost £170 k etc. Might be true might be fantasy. Mine was real and on the back of other rip offs. But at least I helped my kids buy houses. Bizarre really. Saved all my life….42 years of work….and it evaaporates. The corruption here is just mind-blowing. FCA are toothless. No point complaining about dire negative q and a. or selling. It’s endemic City corruption.
If this guy ets away with it and buys the company back ( as I have seen done) he will be held in contempt if he cares. Hambro shafted people around the world in POG. Scumbag. Ruined peoples’ lives. Same here actually. Peoples’ lives!!! Does he give a damn?? I doubt it. I have met many many many heartless CEO’s.
Well’tis done as Lady Macbeth said.
Ripped off again . My bad
End of moaning. Live with consequences.
I don’t personally believe that Duncan will ever allow a penny back into shareholders’ hands. It was so deviously done. He has a personal plan ahead which does not imo include us.
Sorry. Very negative and so damn angry having lost almost everything.
End.
I have lost lots, but not as much as some. Made so many mistakes on this one.
I could have sold at 40% profit.
I shouldnt have averaged down again and again.
SO being so desperate to sell should have rung alarm bells.
Best wishes to all.
Really disappointing news. Strangest day as I haven’t been on here for a long time but back in the pandemic did buy 4d which I didn’t hold but I really liked this company. I looked at the sp this morning and watched the latest DP interview where he looked knackered and admitted himself he was ‘tired’. Looking at the share price movement this week the share dropped almost 50% from Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning. Pretty clear someone knew then and decided to dump. Hopefully the company can be rescued to carry on the good work but my thoughts are also with those on here vested. It’s a tough pill to take.
Hi Crl123 I am really sorry to hear about your day. what is even more woeful here is how much of a priority the world really cares about advanced cancer care and life changing medicine. Under the normalest of circumstances this would be a big deal, highly investible company but in the hangover of COVID nobody really gives a **** if the person next to you is dead or alive. At the moment it is that Cornflakes are 10p a box more is the dominating factor. Oxford Research can obviously use their wealth funding digital art, non fungible tokens and mobile gaming at 1% APR less risk rate and people will buy it. Peyton is just a passionate entrepreneur. Wishing everyone well. Hope the f’d world works out for everyone.
crl123
At least you still have the other 1/4 left. Stick that in an index fund (e.g. S&P 500, etc) and that should compound its way nicely up to retirement.
John 58
I am your age
I lost over 3/4 of everything I have just about
I have only a few thousand quid left in my life
At least my family are grown up and settled .I and my wife have some tough years ahead unfort
If what you say is true, i feel for you like I feel for me. You may have more left than me but that’snot the point
It is loss.
How are you handling it ( I assume it’s true what you say)
Today has been hellish here
Seems like game over here, due to being run by am incompetent fat pig.
Plus those that pumped it meant to say
I reckon I lost about 30k
There's a lot in the same boat. So sorry. Hope those responsible take a hit. Us the pampers.
GAZAL there is no doubt Oxford have given warning sometime ago and today was the deadline. In the interim Duncan tried to get prop 9 though, however the level of objections here made it clear the proposition would not pass. Duncan has been aware and attempted a last ditch solution when making the hastily arranged presentation earlier this week.
Duncan maybe a good scientist but a terrible Manager.
I'm totally devastated £167k = (268 k in shares),my silly fault in putting 80% life saving into this!!
Had to write thesis about body language for post grad. Had to study it for a year. Theirs was just normal for them. . Nothing out off the ordinary. Same as any virtual meeting. They displayed nothing . Same as all other virtusl meetings I have seen. They were just downbeat about the debt options and obsessed with it and shareholders’ votes and had nothing good to say. Didn’t answer questions. Same body language as you get anywhere. So easy to read wrong stuff in. It was the content or lack of it. Body language was neutral. Just negative contaent.
Bob
Just over £86k
I averaged down and it was most of what I have/had
All but skint now.
Any body language experts out there.
In hindsight, the body language in the Q&A session screams that they knew about Oxford's plan to call in the administrators.
